2025.01.31 05:00 Outrageous-Ask-7530 Tight rope surgery to repair/ scope to clean.
I broke my fibula , posterior tibia, and had a displaced palfond fractured mallulas . On top of that a 3rd degree high ankle sprain with all three ligaments completely torn. I had them surgically repaired Tuesday. I can’t sleep the pain is unbearable. The 5 mg Percocet isn’t making it any easier… At first they said take it ever 6 hrs I called in they said to take it every 4 it’s still not helping. I’ve had it elevated above my heart the entire time. Religiously icing it… ibuprofen… is something wrong??

I have a mild form of Cp. Cp level 1 I think? I'm not too sure. I had sesuizes alot when I was younger and it's how the docter noticed it. It was apparently to mild to be documented, with sounds like bullshit and probably is but I'm not a docter.
Despite that iv realized it'd getting a tad bit worse. Docter diagnosed me with runners leg, but I'm nervouse it won't go away. I'm already been exsesvily winded after using the stairs normly and my fucked knees just make it worse. It's not a constant pain either. It's like a baby, you know there a baby sleeping in the next room but your still somewhat surprised when it cries. And when you try to find the baby to quite it down, it moves.
I'm okay woth the fact ill probably need an aid when I'm older. I'm not against that, it just scars me that my symptoms are changing from "Oh yeah I forgot I had that lol" to "Goddamit, pains back".
Dosnt really help that I haven't met anyone else with CP passing or not. Kinda need a elder.

2025.01.31 05:00 PliskinI Newly diagnosed T2 Diabetic. Due to start Metformin next week.
 | I was prompted to have my bloods taken due to feeling off last September, fatigue, strange tingly sensation in my hands, migraines, blurred vision, thirst… you name it. At my first request my Gp turned me away and simply stated I don’t need one unless they ask for one. So I plodded along, symptoms still there on and off, then rolls around January this year… symptoms STILL persisting and this time I had to call an ambulance because I felt like I was dying. Fast heart rate, confusion, extreme exhaustion, cold sweats and a very strange metallic sort of taste in my mouth that intensified (only way I can describe it)… anyway, paramedics arrived, told I was having a panic/anxiety attack and left. That’s when I thought I really need to get checked out as my wife is already diagnosed pre diabetic. So I walk into my GP pretty much demanding I have a blood test because I think I’m either pre diabetic or diabetic. Cue 2 blood tests later due to a HbA1c reading of 53mmol average, I’m confirmed T2 diabetic as of yesterday. I had already made changes to my diet prior to being diagnosed as I was constantly drinking Pepsi Max Cherry and ordering fast food and eating rubbish, now I eat very little, cut out all sugars, stopped all junk food and I drink only bottled water. I know it’s more for T1 diabetics but I slapped on a Dexcom G7 to track my BG and well… here we are. Yesterday I felt awful all day, BG was 7.5 literally all day but my wife did a “healthy” bolognese thing with chopped tomatoes, kale, a small portion of lean mince and whole grain blue dragon noodles for tea the night previous… apparently all good to diabetics. Apparently not. Those symptoms lasted from the night previous, all through yesterday and seemed to have now disappeared. I have woken up today feeling refreshed and most important my migraine has gone! I’ll be staying away from red meat as I was fine with chicken.
