I've posted comments here a few times and have hit over a month (my goal is to not help on a larger scale for a year) but to disclose a little bit:
Jung's philosophies are what AA is based off of. The doctor who treated Bill on his last relapse (Edna) knew Jung directly. The ancedotal story about Jung in the big book was communicated directly to him from Edna
I'll summarize the Jung details quickly bc it's a whole rabbit hole but he was def for the development of self + had strong esoteric leanings.
IMO the 1st and 12th steps are accurate and the in between steps were either 2 things:
- An on purpose thing to lead people astray
- If Bill posted the real philosophy in full it could have been too much for the time especially in the 1930's so he did what he could.

I've seen various content creators with little fuzzy-looking microphones attached to their phones and wonder if maybe one of these could be what I need.
Can anyone recommend a particular brand/model of something like this?
Just something I can use when I feel like skipping the -recording audio into the DAW- process... The built-in mic that comes with smartphones aren't exactly made for this purpose, and I'm sure there are some affordable plug-and-play options out there that'll sound a whole lot better.

Hi All, I just got done with a job and I'm very happy with how it turned out. Premcore prefinished birch boxes with adjustable baltic birch shelves. Edged/nosed with hard maple. Top, bottom, and middle shelves fixed to sides with rabbet joint. I don't typically do cabinets (I take jobs of all kinds, but moslty preservation work, e.g., rebuilding old windows). I charge based on what my usual rates are and have never had a problem, but I'm curious what more seasoned cabinet builders would charge for soemthing like this? I'd like to take more of these jobs and want to be sure I'm not over-charging.

I gave it an honest try to engage in a critical discussion and while their arguments really weakened in the end and their accusations tempered into a little flimsy point, it was a pointless discussion, I really tried.
