There’s always a debate about younger vs older dommes but as a younger sub - my experiences :
Younger dommes: Often love to talk and conversation flows so naturally - mutual interests and they get references and love emojis - more of a casual dynamic almost like friends but with a kinky and sometimes cruel twist

Hi!
My dog is a small black and white poodle “mut” He had recently developed a cyst. I took him to the vet had it tested and it came back as an infection and really just a benign cyst. I was sent home with antibiotics and the cyst shrunk. Fast forward to a week after finishing the antibiotics and the cyst had swelled up much larger than previously.
Back to the vet we went this week on Thursday. I was advised antibiotics wouldn’t help much at this point and surgery was my likely best option.
The cyst is located below the right side jawline more so on the neck. But because of its location they’d like to put him under.
As of this morning the freaking cyst ruptured. The vets office is obviously closed and I want yo take him to the emergency vet but it’s ridiculously expensive for the same treatment.
As of now, my dog is happy, eating, drinking, going to the bathroom.
He does have a lot of hair though and when the cyst ruptured even after trying to clean the area his hair has now hardened! He is a very anxious dog.
We rescued him from a shelter in Harlem NYC back in 2017. He was in horrible shape and was left abandoned. He won’t let us shave the area which is no surprise but we really need to continue to clean the area.
I’m worried about infection and other possible issues arising till I can get an appointment next week.
Any advice?

2025.02.01 22:11 JammingScientist It's so hurtful how being ugly is always thrown in your face no matter where you go
I went to the supermarket to pick up a few groceries just now, and as I was walking to my car before driving over there, there was this pretty blonde who had parked next to me and I immediately felt hateful and disgusted of myself.
Then when I got to the grocery store, there were so many couples everywhere and I was one of the only people in there alone. It just made me feel so sad and anxious to be there surrounded by all these couples, knowing I'll never know what it's like to spend time with someone who loves me like that. I'll never know what it's like to pick out the groceries needed for the week and lovingly ask my bf what we should eat for dinner.
It didnt help that there were people giving me weird looks/staring at me or looking at me while laughing and whispering to their friends while I was there. And none of the girls with their bfs looked anything like me...they were all pretty white or east Asian girls. So I left after about 5 or so minutes because I felt so gross in there.
Then I stopped at Taco bell for some dinner which was at a shopping center, and of course there were more couples everywhere.
I just feel like as an ugly, you can never catch a break. It will always sneak it's way into your everyday life no matter what. I can't even just go pick up dinner without feeling like I shouldn't be there

I installed a Lutron motion dimmer on my 3 pole switch. I had to use a jumper cable at the other "dumb" switch for the install. I want to add a Meross smart switch on the "dumb" switch. That side has a traveler cable and live and neutral that are jumped together. Is it possible to install the Meross in this application.

Reading fourth edition of Gilbert Strang's Introduction To Linear Algebra, and following along with the OCW lectures. I'm on chapter 6.3, and am reading about solving the differential equation du/dt = Au where bold denotes a vector.
I have a some understanding of differential equations since I also took Single Variable Calc and Multivariable calc on OCW, but that understanding is fairly limited. From what I understand, the solution to du/dt = Au is the set of functions such that the derivative of u is equal to some matrix A times u.
The solution given in the chapter is u(t) = e^(λt)x where λ is an eigenvalue of A and x is the associated eigenvector. This makes sense to me since
- du/dt = λe^(λt)x
- Au = Ae^(λt)x = λe^(λt)x
- u(t) =e^(λt)x satisfies du/dt = Au by equality of (1) and (2)
Would especially be interested in the perspective of someone who has read this book before or followed along with this particular OCW course, but definitely happy to hear the take of anyone knowledgeable on the topic!

Hello there.
Starting up the game after being away for years, I find that trader ll1 ammo will at best pen level 2 armor (coincidentally also the best one can buy at that point). Just saying, low tier players used to have access to ammo capable of piercing level 4 armor, while I personally dislike how many different ammo types ignore common or all armor, there's gotta be a better crutch than leg meta for people with less time to spare - at level 2 traders, you get mid-grade ammo for your grind. Still won't pen level 4 plates with your rifles (unless somoeone's got any kind of .308 or 7.62x54 at all).
Fix!1!!1 ); It makes dropping into an ongoing cycle more obnoxious than I ever remembered it to be. Love the move away from the CS-spray pattern recoil system though.

Help! I've been an OT for years and have only worked with adults mostly in SNF and some time in Acute care. After some recent injuries, I am looking to move to outpatient peds or school peds which will also fit my schedule. I haven't had much peds experience beyond clinical fieldwork from YEARS ago. I'm blowing the dust off my peds books and looking for continuing education courses but still a little concerned that I don't know the more recent stuff. Has anyone else made this jump? Suggestions?

Has anyone done this research, or does anyone know if the information is recorded somewhere.
With the private high school voucher bill being fast tracked by the Texas Senate, I’m interested in identifying private high schools founded between 1970 and 1976. 1970 is a significant date, since a court order forced Texas public schools to desegregate. This led to the establishment of private schools with the specific intent of maintaining segregation. Private schools were allowed to discriminate until the Runyon v. McCrary court decision in 1976.
Therefore, I was hoping to make a list of: 1) private schools in the San Antonio area 2) identify the schools founded between 1970 and 1976 3) research the schools founded in that range in the newspaper archives to determine if they were founded as segregation academies.
