Amigos, preciso muito de uma opinião realista que compare os dois campus para Ciência de Computação. Meu sonho é ser pesquisador e trabalhar como acadêmico na área de Inteligência Artificial e Robótica, passando por outras universidades pelo mundo (Yale, MIT, Oxford...). Por isso, as oportunidades fazem muita diferença na escolha de um ambiente.
Não me entendam mal, acredito que o ICMC e o IME não possuem a menor diferença nos quesitos: - Estrutura - Ensino - Curso - Professores e turma - Currículo...
Afinal, é a mesma USP, o mesmo diploma, a mesma computação, as mesmas matérias. Não acho que sairia de um dos dois "mais expert em computação" do que no outro. isso é muito mais uma questão individual, que envolve de dicação e etc...
Estou focando no parâmetro OPORTUNIDADES. Oportunidades de extensão ou eletivas, de ICs ou estágios na área que estou interessado, de networkings internacionais (não me refiro necessariamente a amizades de turma, mas), de eventos, conferências ou palestras sobre o tema, etc..
O que me dizem? Preciso muito dessa comparação realista!

A little about me- I'm an old-school DM (using 1e & 2e rules, with a sprinkle of 5e) whose players all had to take weekend jobs, moved away or have family commitments they can't get away from right now. I have no players anymore, so I'm hoping to find new ones for a twice a month game on weekends, either Saturday nights or Sunday afternoons, depending on schedules. (I'm flexible.)
If you're interested but don't know the rules, I'd be happy to teach. This would be a long-term campaign (I really enjoy the game, just want to find people who get a kick out of it, too on a regular basis)
The area is located in Lyons, close to the Brookfield Zoo. My house is smoke-free and LGBTQ+ friendly. It's also small, but I can accommodate 3-5 players.

Well.. I suffer from bpd and ptsd (im stable on meds). I'm stuck in a cycle of just living high, I don't remember the last time I was actually sober except for a couple T-breaks that only lasted a week at most, I smoke between 80-100 grams and month... I've been smoking weed since I was 14 (im 24 now) and I don't know how to be sober, it feels like days never end when I tried being sober, and everything i did and every interaction I had with people felt like a hustle.. I really don't know how to quit or at least smoke less.. any ideas what to do?

I’m feeling stuck and could use some advice or ideas. I’ve spent the last 20 years working in cannabis cultivation, and it’s been my life. I’ve loved being a part of this industry and seeing it evolve, but after back-to-back surgeries, my body isn’t what it used to be, and finding work has been tough.
I’ve always been hands-on, working long hours on my feet, and I never imagined I’d be in a position where I couldn’t do what I know best. The injuries have limited my physical capacity, and while I’m healing, I know I need to pivot. Unfortunately, finding a new role within the cannabis industry—or anywhere else—has been a challenge.
So, I’m here looking for ideas for a side hustle or remote work that I can do while recovering and rebuilding my strength. I have decades of experience in cultivation, project management, and problem-solving, but I need something less physically demanding. Ideally, I’d like to stay connected to the cannabis industry, but I’m open to other ideas too.
If anyone has transitioned out of physical labor into something less demanding, or has tips for leveraging niche experience into a remote or side hustle gig, I’d love to hear your feedback.

When I drive on the highway the police cars that are spawning in front of me stop in the middle of the road and then turn in my direction making me crash into them which is not so realistic if you ask me.
