As the title says, but I am going to put a $1000 deposit down to hold a car.
The email says this:
"This email is acting as written notice that we, {CAR DEALERSHIP NAME}, will take a $1000 partial
downpayment towards the purchase of the Certified Preowned Bronco Big Bend {STOCK NUMBER}
We will take this partial payment to hold the vehicle from being sold until it has made it through our shop.
You have the right at any time to receive a refund of the partial downpayment if you change your mind or if the
vehicle is for any reason unsatisfactory.
But the one time payment form says this:
"I certify that I am an authorized user of this credit card and acknowledge that this is a non-refundable partial down payment for the above mentioned goods/services. In as such I will not dispute or cancel the transaction with my credit card company"
The biggest difference here being that, the email is a just an email & this is a signed form.

 | My car randomly started smelling like a cigarette type smell, more specifically weed like. It's not like weed flower so it's not like I a ran over skunk or anything. It's like someone smoked a joint or blunt but I've never smoked in the car and nobody else has ever borrowed it or been in my car that would lead to this smell. I checked the cabin air filter and it's like brand new so it's not that I bombed it with an ozium can and the smell went away for like 2 days but now I can smell the scent coming back What could it possibly be????? Hello everyone!
I'm a recent graduate seeking some advice.
I hold two master's degrees—one in International Economics and another in People Management and Organization. I am fluent in French and English, have an upper intermediate level of Chinese and Dutch, and a basic understanding of Spanish.
However, despite applying to over 200 positions for roles in HR, tech or sustainability, mainly in Western Europe, I have only received rejections or have been ghosted. I’ve had a few interviews, but none have led to an offer, either because I was ghosted afterward or because they chose a candidate with more experience or a better fit. (I hope it's just my application or the market and not something like discrimination hahaha)
I'm starting to wonder if I should give up on looking for a corporate job and explore something completely different.
During my bachelor's, I really enjoyed my minor in Geography and Physics, and I’ve been thinking, maybe I should pursue something related to that? For example, a role as an outdoor educator or something similar. But I have no idea where to find those kinds of jobs.
At the same time, I feel very conflicted because I feel like i would be wasting my degrees, especially my Economics degree, which was particularly hard.
So yeah, any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I’m talking with friends about old games on ps2 and it took me back to a time when my dad randomly got the number of a ‘game man’ who’d come to your house and you’d rent a ps2 game for a fiver until the next week where you would either give him the game back or rerent the game for another fiver, sounds like a joke but it wasn’t. His car boot was topped out with games.
So my question is surely someone out there in the uk had a random guy called ‘the game man’

Heute habe ich gearbeitet und dann bin ich zum Friseur gefahren. Mein Haar wurde gefärbt und geschnitten, aber das nächste Mal, dass ich da fahren werde, werden sie mein Haar wirklich ändern. Ich werde noch eine interessante Farbe haben, aber vielleicht nur eins und nur am Ende des Haars. Es wird aber eine lange Zeit dauern, das zu tun. Heute war ich für vier Stunden da, aber im März wird es vielleicht fünf oder sechs Stunden brauchen.
