2025.02.01 20:41 SkyBlue726 Was Zuko actually a bad firebender, or did he just look bad compared to Azula?
We know Ozai hated Zuko partly because Zuko wasn't as talented at firebending as his sister Azula. But I'm wondering if Zuko was actually below average at firebending, or was he just constantly compared to Azula, who is considered the most gifted firebender at the time?
The show doesn’t make it super clear. For example, a 16 yld Zuko is able to defeat a high-ranking soldier like Zhao, so he seems pretty skilled by that point. And over the course of the series, he becomes even stronger. By the end, he’s probably one of the strongest firebenders, behind only Iroh, Azula, and likely Jeong Jeong.
Does the show suggest Zuko actually sucked at fire bending when he was a child, or was he just not talented as Azula? Which would make most fire benders look bad in comparison.

Sunday: Rent van @ 8am, El Yunque morning followed by Luquillo Beach, any good dinner spots near water?
Monday: Sleep in & Condado beach day (Trying to find resort passes - anything anyone recommends?), maybe beach yoga or salsa class, massage if anyone wants, farewell dinner and drinks
Tuesday: Depart
Any good food recs? Would love to find some hidden gem local eats. I was trying to figure out Fajardo day, but I feel like it would be too crammed in this schedule.

Tell me it gets easier. We’re struggling, neither of us feeling like we are getting our needs met. I am just so tired of it all. I lack the energy to care because I feel like everyday I am mentally and physically giving so much. My husband feels like I am with him because of the monetary comforts and support - and I am starting to think maybe he’s right. At least for the season we are in with a toddler and baby on the way.
Would love to hear success stories if you’ve been through something, whatever that has meant for you.

I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. I have done mencuts at the salon but I never do it completely right and my coworkers basically finish and do the cut for me. At my hair school they didn’t even do a mencuts class and would tell me what to do and then walk away and never come back when I was cutting mans hair I thought I was good at mencuts in school but now i suck at it. I look up videos all the time but I just never get it. I have tried to find men cutting classes near me but I live in the middle of nowhere. Could someone give me guidance????
