Due to political uncertainty, Im thinking abt putting my education on pause and leaving the country until i feel its safe to come back. Im not trying to get political in this post, I just wanna know if anyone knows how pausing education works at csulb. I am currently receiving financial aid as well, so ill prob go to the financial aid office to see what they’ll say abt me wanting to leave the country. But for now, how should i approach this ?

 | At first it was rough. It got so bad that at one point Tatik had to sell her clothes to get enough money to recruit troops. Until one lucky day, she beat a group of looters that had imprisoned some veteran troops. Thankful for their new freedom, they decided to follow her. But money was still running low, so she decided to find jobs, even if it meant working with shady individuals. She got hired by a gang leader to bring down a corrupt rich merchant, and with the power of her new troops it was now possible. First, they offered the rich man to escort his caravan and he accepted. When they arrived at the destination, the gang leader's troops ambushed the caravan, but their protectors turn against them. What the ambushers didn't expect was Tatik turning against them too! After she slayed both groups, it was time to get some new clothes. Another lucky encounter was seeing Caladog himself attack an Aserai castle and losing, getting himself captured. She saw the opportunity and went to rescue him. (Caladog is a beast, he got freed by himself basically) Caladog became her friend so she decided to be a battanian mercenary, and later become a vassal. She then married the King's son, Mengus, who proved to be a fantastic companion. Killing vlandians left to right, she got rewarded with Sargot, Jaculan, Ocs hall and many castles more. She birthed 5 beautiful children (while kicking ass at the same time wtf) All seem going great, until one day bad news arrived. Caladog died. Everyone in the kingdom was sad, but they knew someone had to step in. Unanimously they voted for Tatik to be the new queen of the Battanians. After that it was a sweep after sweep. Killing a kingdom, marrying her sons, killing another kingdom, having grandchildren, killing another kingdom, losing long time friends. 2025.02.01 21:51 Glittering-Ad-994 which reading comprehension tests should i prioritize in drilling?
In terms of my RC, I know it’s my worst section. After taking PT 101, i decided to drill RC by doing each section slowly and understand the question and answer. After two weeks, I was averaging -0/-2, but today I took PT 138, which is more recent and noticed that I find those MUCH harder than the PTs from 100-120. It’s harder in terms of how less obvious the ACs are and during PTs I find myself too stressed to read everything thoroughly (which I know is key to success) I’m thinking of drilling the RC passages of the more recent tests but am worried i’ll run out of practice tests. Does anyone have any advice on approaching the newer RC passages? Would my same method of untuned, methodogical drilling work or should I do timed sections to simulate PTs? Any advice on newer RC passages would be deeply appreciated.

Most black boys have some experience with parents who force them to have short hair, whereas where I am from, schools require boys to keep their hair at a certain length. My parents weren't that hard on me with my hair, but even after high school, I kept my hair low, less maintenance, and can easily be kept clean. Now, at 19, I feel like I need a change. I had waves a while back but gave up on them since the maintenance was very high and I wasn't really going out, so I didn't feel the need to match the upkeep. But yeah, what hairstyle would suit me?

 | Hi all, I know it kills people and is probably dumb, but I have no choice if I want to work on my car. If the yellow wedge in the image is perfectly strong and level, can I remove both my front wheels after putting it on jack stands (in red). I already have the ramps in green that I use just to change oil, etc. I put a rubber membrane under my ramps and will under the wedge so it grips better. I go to a garage for complicated stuff, but can't really afford to bring it there for things I can do myself. So the idea is to drive up on the ramps to almost level the car, then use a floor jack on top of another yellow wedge so the jack is level to jack up the car a bit more to make it perfectly level. Then place the jack stands like in the image to then finally remove the wheels. Will I still die if I go under the car? I [32/M] don't know if i'm the bad person here.
Two weeks ago, i matched with a girl [38/F] on Tinder. We had a bit of a talk and we decided to meet the last saturday. That day, we talked about us, she told me that she had two kids, one of them living with her and the other one with her ex-boyfriend, who also told me that have problems with him. It was a fine time, except the thing that she drinks a lot of beers. That day, she drank 5 beers, meanwhile i only drank 2.
During this week, we talked about our days, send us kisses emojis and things like that, until this last thursday, in which she, at night, told me that she was drinking alone. She drank like, 6 beers and sent me messages like: "I love you, I hope everything is nice between the two of us" and "You are the cutest I love you so much" while she was drunk. Also, she called me to read these messages (i didn't answer the call, i don't answer phone calls after 11 p.m.)
Yesterday was our second date, but it was same of the first one. This time, we kissed but she drank a lot and also wanted to pay half of the beers that she drank (4 at one bar and another one at the disco). I told her that she was drinking a lot of alcohol and it would be a problem at future, but she replied that she "can handle this. She drinks a lot now because she is depressed."
Today, she wanted to meet again, but i told her that i was tired, I had no money and I wanted to spend time with my parents. She sent me money without asking me and i get mad at this. She asked if i don't want to see her again and told me that she's intense in the romantic area, that she didn't want this situation in which "i don't have time or things more important to do" and she does want to dedicate her time to a man and give importance to the relationship.
I insisted to her that I wanted to be calm today, that this situation has already taken away the peace of mind that I seek to preserve in my life and that I would return the money. She apologized and accepted the money back. Until now, we haven't written to each other again.
After everything that happened today, I seriously thought about minding my own business. No more looking for dates, dating apps, I would even say that after this, I no longer feel willing to be in a relationship with someone else.
