2025.02.01 21:50 The_Jenny_Starr Clothes/Items on AliExpress
While Iâm waiting for my Smart Doll to arrive Iâm interested in shopping for some clothes. I bought an outfit from Dannyâs site, but I wanted to supplement with more styles while Iâm learning to sew. When I do a search for 1/3 dolls I get hits on 60cm outfits and pieces? Is that the âofficialâ height I should be using? Since Astra isnât here yet, I canât measure her. I suppose I could just start a cart and cool my jets (so not my brand, lol!). I also read about color fasting needing to be done? Is that like we do with our outfits, putting in the âcolor guardâ for a few washes to take out the excess dyes?
Thanks!

2025.02.01 21:50 Geminiboy_ What's your takeaway from Mario himself as a character?
I always see people who Genuinely hate Mario as a character for basically no reason, or people claiming he's boring or doesn't have a personality but that just never made much sense to me but I was wondering how people view his personality both in spinoffs and in the main series?

âAre there any more questions?â I asked, feeling a little exasperated. The only people left in the room were Acetli and a few others I didnât know the name of. Bemlin had gone back to his desk to cross reference the structure with anything known, and Tanerik had gone home.
Acetli raised her tail, something I quickly learned was akin to raising your hand. âHow many real structures is the model based on?â
âYou might as well ask how many real structures have been solved. If a protein has a publicly available solved structure, chances are itâs part of the training data.â
She and the others scribbled down on their pads some more. It was kind of an odd feeling, having my words feel so important. I never thought about being a teacher or professor or anything, but I imagined it wasnât much different from this. I guess it was nice to be listened to.
âOne last question,â I said. âThis has dragged on a little longer than I wouldâve liked.â
âYes,â said an older black-furred Venlil. I guessed he was older because of his graying fur around his face, but truthfully wasnât sure. âWhen are you next available? In case it isnât obvious, I and the others present would like to discuss this more with you.â
âYou should send me an email in that case. I have a fair amount to catch up on.â
âVery well,â he said, standing up. âThank you for the presentation and staying for our questions. And for putting up with the doubts many have.â
âOh, Iâm sure there will be plenty more doubts to come.â
He gave me a look I couldnât quite decipher. âMore than just doubts, Iâm sure. Have a good rest of your paw.â
He and the others gathered their things and exited the conference room, leaving me alone with Acetli. It was quiet. I shut off the presenting screen and grabbed my holopad, taking note of the time. I purposefully took longer than I needed to, but Acetli was still staring at her holopad with what seemed like a frown.
I came beside her. âYou know, youâre already about thirty minutes over when your shift was supposed to end.â
She glanced up at me, then back at her notes. âI know. I also know I had my doubts earlier, I just⊠I feel like Iâve missed so much. I shouldâve come more prepared.â
âBeing skeptical isnât the worst thing. You showed up and were willing to learn. I think thatâs a pretty great start, all things considered.â
âI truly had some questionable expectations before I arrived, but⊠Iâm not sure. Iâm feeling overwhelmed. Um, I donât mean that in a bad way.â
I waved a hand. âOf course. Everyone goes at their own pace, Iâm not expecting anything crazy. Try not to stress yourself out. That wonât be helpful for anyone.â
She flicked a dismissive ear. âStress is inevitable.â
âFair enough,â I shrugged. âSo⊠what do you think of your first day? Er, claw? Half-claw? Whatever.â
Acetli thought for a moment. âCan I come in for a full shift next paw?â
I blinked, a little surprised. âSure, if you really want to. Iâll make sure youâre compensated.â
âAnd those videos you had me watch earlier. Do you have more of them?â
âThereâs tons. Anywhere on the internet you can find them.â
ââŠI was hoping you could give me a place to start.â
âOh, um⊠How about we come back to this next paw? Iâll think of some. Youâll have plenty of time to go over whatever youâd like.â
âThat works,â she said, though still appearing disappointed. She stood and grabbed her pad. âThis was very insightful. Thank you.â
As soon as the door closed, I breathed a deep sigh. I took a moment to tidy up the room, pushing in a few chairs while I gathered my thoughts.
That presentation couldâve gone worse. I certainly wasnât expecting anyone to walk out during it. I thought AI was public knowledge at this point, but perhaps that was just another item to the list of things I wasnât aware of about the galaxy. Thinking back, Bemlin didnât seem impressed the times I spoke to him about it. Maybe it seemed like a novelty thing to them at first glance, like a neat tech demo youâd play with for a few minutes then forget about.
At the same time, I didnât expect so much pushback from a simple gene discovery. Iâd been absolutely torn apart by experts at conferences before, so it wasnât terrible. It also helped to actually know exactly what I was talking about this time around.
Tanerik surprised me. He was the only one that wasnât treating Gamma Fold like the best thing since sliced bread. As goofy as he looked with his Elvis head tuft, I got the feeling heâd done his research. And he knew about rainbow mode, which was a bonus.
I exited the conference room, catching a few glances from Venlil in the hallway as I navigated to Rosimâs office. I knocked on his half-open door. He indicated to come in, and I adjusted my mask before entering.
I stepped inside and⊠was sort of surprised. I wasnât sure why, I had no idea what I was expecting. He had an assortment of awards on the wall above his desk, which had a few trinkets including a peculiar wooden cup and a glass figure of the ubiquitous double helix. Beside that was a framed picture of Rosim and a smaller Venlil together, posing for the camera.
âPlease, take a seat,â Rosim politely said. âThat was quite the presentation.â
I sat down, eyes lingering on the picture. âYeah, you could say that. You have a nice office. A lot less empty than mine.â
âOh, um, yes! Iâve had plenty of time to grow my collection of paperweights and picture frames. Theyâre mostly gifts.â
âThatâs good. I forgot mine on Earth.â Really, they were all eviscerated by antimatter, but forgetting was just as easy.
âSo you wanted to discuss KeiVei-Lay?â
âYes. How about we start with why you send potentially newly discovered genes to KeiVei-Lay?â
He leaned back in his chair. âWell, I suppose the unsatisfying answer is thatâs the way weâve always done it. It works, itâs accepted, and it also spares researchers the work of doing it themselves.â
I leaned forward, intrigued. âWhat do you mean by âacceptedâ?â
âDo humans have a peer-review process?â
âWe do. If you want to publish research, a few other experts in the field have to review your work to ensure nothingâs overtly false, or similar.â
âOh, good. I was fairly sure, but didnât⊠um⊠yes. We have a process quite similar to that. For genetic studies, including things like a new gene, KeiVei-Lay software is the gold standard, something publishers want to see. If they donât, wellâŠâ His voice trailed off.
âYou donât get published.â
âSometimes,â he said, a little disgruntled. âSometimes they go⊠a little further than that.â
I frowned. âYou mean, like, discredited?â
Rosim thought for a moment. âI used to know someone in a postdoctoral position at a university. Brilliant man with a brilliant mind. He always thought outside the box, so to speak. He was working on some sort of protein complex, I donât quite remember. But he found something he couldnât explain, and somehow he figured this was a previously unknown interaction with another protein. He spent so long researching it, heâd developed his own techniques, analysis methods, what have you.â
âAnd one day he tries to publish,â I guessed.
His ears wiggled. âYes. He sent the publishers one of his drafts, and they rejected it almost immediately. They said he didnât use KeiVei-Lay to elucidate this new interaction he discovered. I donât know all the details, but they mustâve fought back and forth for a while. Then, one paw, I donât see him show up. So I asked his lab manager what happened. It turns out heâd become too attached to his research, so much so that he couldnât admit that he was wrong. The publishers recognized this, and apparently did everything they could to tear him down. One thing led to another, and he was fired.â
My mouth hung open. âWhat? Did he find another job?â
âI highly doubt it. Not one in research, anyways. Itâs a shame, too. He was a great guy, but everyone has to admit when theyâre wrong at some point. I canât imagine any part of any research that would be worth destroying your career over.â
I didnât know how to react. There were no shortage of stories of misbegotten scientists putting so much of themselves into their research that they couldnât accept any other perspectives on the problem. But there were also many stories of brilliant minds solving a problem, only to be shunned and hounded for their unorthodox methods.
Iâd come to learn to take anything aliens say with a grain of salt, but this particular story demanded a fistful. âWhat exactly was he researching?â
He ran a paw over his ear in thought. âIâm afraid I donât recall. Some part of me wants to say it had to do with antibody propagation, but Iâm uncertain.â
I rubbed my chin, unsure where to go with that. âOkay⊠How about⊠How long has KeiVei-Lay been around? Who is it operated by?â
He whistled. âIâm not sure how long. Certainly longer than you or me, and even many societies within the Federation. As for who operates it, I can only say itâs somewhere within the Federation.â
âIsnât it the Kolshians? Aafa, whatever?â
âI wouldnât attribute the entire organization to just a single species.â
âThis is allâŠâ I rubbed my chin in thought. âDo you not have open-source software? Is it only KeiVei-Lay?â
âIt depends on what you want to analyze, but for the work youâre doing currently, outsourcing to KeiVei-Lay is the only way to go. Rather, it would be, if Venlil Prime hadnât seceded from the Federation.â
âIs⊠KeiVei-Lay used across the entire Federation? Along with all the same expectations for publishing?â
âThatâs correct.â
âSo someone finds a new gene in the Gojid genome, they just send an email to them and it all gets sorted out? No questions asked?â
His expression soured. âNot to, um, critique your presentationâwhich was quite convincing, I might addâbut, um, finding a new gene is⊠rare. KeiVei-Lay is very rigorous.â
âWhat do you mean? What all do they do?â
âIt would be easier for me to say what they donât doâtheyâre far more than just computer software. Perhaps I could send you some resources on the services they offer?â
I didnât want to read or catch myself up on anything, I wanted answers. âYeah, thatâd be great for me to go over. Will you be free in a quarter claw?â
Rosim glanced at his computer screen. âUm⊠if it is absolutely necessary.â
âWhat do youâ oh, right,â I said, rubbing my forehead through my mask in annoyance. âSorry, sometimes I get lost in thought and forget that time⊠happens.â
âOh, no problems!â He let out a nervous laugh. âIt, uh, happens to the best of us!â
I stood up. âDonât worry about it. But letâs talk soon.â
âYes. And perhaps we could discuss what I mentioned in my most recent email?â
âYour most recent email. Of course,â I said, knowing full well I hadnât looked at my email at all today. âIâll try and find some time.â
His expression lit up. âExcellent! I look forward to it!â
I left Rosimâs office in somewhat of a hurry. I faintly wondered what Iâd just agreed to, though everything else heâd told me was much more pressing.
My head was a hurricane of thoughts, and KeiVei-Lay was the eye. I got back to my festively illuminated office and hurriedly wrote down some notes. KeiVei-Lay is almost certainly hiding genes purposefully. Anything that doesnât use KeiVei-Lay isnât accepted, making it one of, if not the only viable software used across the Federation. Everyone was incredibly skeptical of our somewhat ordinaryâto me, at leastâdiscovery. Finding a new gene is apparently rare, which isnât a surprise in and of itself, butâŠ
Thereâs much more to this than I thought.
I logged into my computer, only to be met with a barrage of emails. That wouldnât be entirely unusual, except for the fact that most were from people in the facility. They were all asking about a variety of things, from protein folding prediction to gene discovery, and plenty of them were adamant about scheduling a one-on-one meeting with me, among them being Rosim. There were so many. Enough to fill up my schedule for a week.
Iâd deal with that tomorrow. Or next paw, whatever. I really needed to let Su Hui know what Iâd learned. Except she was still on break, and I wasnât about to bother her while she was enjoying some well-deserved time on Earth. There had to be someone else I could talk to. Bemlin was an option, but he wouldnât see it the same way. If I had known Iâd be dealing with this, I wouldâve taken the same length break as a sane person.
And Celso! I was so distracted with questions and new people and KeiVei-Lay that Iâd completely forgotten. Thankfully there was still time left in the day, though I made it a priority to prevent him from staying late again. Maybe heâd be a good person to talk to about this KeiVei-Lay stuff? Probably not. He has enough on his plate. Or maybe heâd find it funny?
I leaned back in my chair with a sigh. I was expecting nonsense by moving to Venlil Prime, but not this sort of nonsense. And my back was hurting again.

[Transcribing audioâŠ]
The transcript opens with the hiss of a door opening. The single set of footsteps that follow are only barely audible.
Voice 1: You are late.
Voice 2: Finally, she arrives.
Voice 3: I apologize, your cruelty. I lost track of time while studying the most recent info dispersal.
Voice 1: No more wasted time. Kalyth, bring up what you wanted to share.
Voice 2: Yes, it is in regards to the animalsâ nutritional demands. I had the chance to speak with one of the human doctors, and we discussed the typical diet. I wish to ensure that another malnourishment issue similar to our last import does not arise.
Voice 3: You spoke with a human?
Voice 2: Yes, I would recommendâ
Voice 1: Irrelevant. Is there risk of malnourishment?
Voice 2: Yes. I do not know if it will occur if their diet is substantially changed, but I am seeking to remedy this gap in information.
Voice 3: Their digestive system is unique, and I would not be entirely surprised to learn that our current Venlil feed is unsuitable.
Voice 1: Why is that?
Voice 3: I have spent much time studying their anatomy, and it seems their stomachs have four compartments. They are entirely dependent on unique symbiotic microbes for digestion. I only mention this because these animals have not yet been tested in this environment.
Voice 1: And Venlil have. I see.
Voice 2: The humans have offered to run biochemical assays to compare our current feed to what they use.
Voice 1: The primates care too much for the wellbeing of animalsâfood. I still fail to understand their intentions. Theyâve made it clear that they prefer to keep interaction with us to a needlessly secretive minimum.
Voice 2: Would you have me turn down their offer?
Voice 1: You may take whatever action you see fit. I trust you will seek efficiency, yes?
Voice 2: Certainly.
Voice 1: Good. Consult me if either of you find any modifications you deem necessary. Diets, schedules, whatever it may be. Is that all?
Voice 2: Iâm afraid there is more critical information. The animals⊠They grow very quickly.
Voice 1: Ah, then the exchange was not a complete waste of time. If the Chief Hunterâs intelligence is not completely laughable, then that is expected.
Voice 2: The time to maturity is⊠two years.
Voice 1: For the smallest ones, yes? I suppose that is not a terrible commitment for a quick snack.
There is a brief moment of silence.
Voice 3: That value is for the bovines.
An extended silence.
Voice 1: You have made a mistake.
Voice 2: There is no mistake.
Voice 3: They grow quicker than anything we have seen. Not even the ones with growth hormones come close.
Voice 1: You have ensured the translation is sound?
Voice 2: There is no doubt. The pigs grow even quicker than the cows and with larger litters. I have not yet done any efficiency calculations in regards to yield, but it is simple to see that these new cattle are vastly superior to the Venlil⊠in every possible way.
Another long period of silence passes before a growling chuckle reverberates through the room.
Voice 1: Iâm quite certain the humans would have you believe that, but do not make a fool of yourself. This trade deal was a simple numbers game, of which the humans foolishly placed extraneous value in their noseless pets. We gained more meat than we lost. That is simple to understand, yes?
Voice 3: This is not merely a few shuttles of meat. The humans have given us opportunity. If we are to effectively plan for the future, we mustnât be so dismissive of such a radical shift to our food supply.
Voice 1: A radical shift? Youâve not been consumed with idealistic imaginations, have you? Very little has changed. Raids still reign supreme in how much livestock we acquire and, if the other Chief Hunters are not as spineless as Isif, that will not change.
Voice 3: Iâm speaking of more than food, there isâ
Something clatters to the floor, and a hiss is heard.
Voice 1: Then what is the purpose of this meeting? Chatting? Speculation?
Voice 3: I⊠only mean to say that more trades are foreseeable. The humans have proven quite persistent.
Voice 1: Your excuses fall short. Kalyth, do you have anything else to add?
Voice 2: No.
Voice 1: I will be in my quarters. I am not to be disturbed.
A hiss is followed by footsteps, and the recording momentarily grows silent as a door closes.
Voice 3: You understand, yes? These cattle bring countless new possibilities, far more than I had imagined.
Voice 2: I⊠believe it is foolish to be as hopeful as you are.
Voice 3: How are you not? In a mere ten years, we would have enough cattle to fill this station four times over. And still the humans havenât revealed all of their secrets.
Voice 2: I understand all of it, do not mistake me. But you fail to see. So much has changed, but vastly more remains the same. It is neither the time nor place for these thoughts.
Voice 3: Youâve spoken to the humans. What are their thoughts?
Voice 2: I donât know, but I fail to see how their opinions would help us regardless. This bout of yours must end. You know very well that there are worse places to be in, Vintris.
Voice 3: You need not remind me.
A door opens and hisses shut. The static hum of the station is the only audible sound for the next hour and four minutes.

2025.02.01 21:50 Character_Deer7304 Install of current sensing relay on humidifier
I installed a new humidifier on my furnace and wanted to install a current sensing relay back to the blower to save water. I tested the install without the relay wired in, and it worked fine. With the relay installed though, I'm not getting any power. I installed a 18awg wire from the relay back to the blue "c" terminal on the furnace controller but the relay doesn't seem to be connecting the circuit as intended dispite the blower and heat being on. Any ideas for troubleshooting? Is it a bad relay or am I misinterpreting the wiring diagram?

2025.02.01 21:50 WhoKnowsTheDay My family's history of cancer, depression, and the struggle to find affordable nursing home care is making me rethink the boundaries of what's right and wrong when it comes to money
I understood the value of money when a few years ago we couldn't find a good nursing home we could afford for my grandfather and I saw my mother feeling like she was leaving her father in a place he didn't deserve. He was in an advanced state of Parkinson's and needed a place that was easier to get out of to go to doctors and appointments, unlike our house.
Afterwards, he was still bedridden and getting worse on a stretcher in a public hospital, where we had to go to the hospital boards several times to try to get better treatment. It's not that I didn't know the importance of money before, but it was the first time I saw the impact that the lack of it could have on someone I loved. A situation in which even if we asked for help from others or sold everything would not have an easy solution.
Both parts of the family came from difficult backgrounds and had to change regions of the country and work as maids or operators to grow in life and earn hard-earned money. They had a very strong education of being correct, being well regarded by society, pleasing others. This involved giving up the little they had for visitors to enjoy and leaving desires and doubts aside to be welcomed for others. This is also closely related to a position of inferiority, avoiding the spotlight and viewing with fear anything that would put them in the spotlight or open up space for them to be seen as superior to someone else.
These ideals were also passed on to me and are the ones I follow even though I have questioned them more and more. I can't act any other way for now. But when I stop to think about going through the same nursing home situation with my parents as patients, I feel an urgency to have money for when that moment comes.
I'm not saying that in my normal life I don't want to have money, but I work, I earn the basics, I buy the basics and that's it. In a way, money had never stood out to me because deep down I'm afraid of having too much of it. After all, having a lot of money involves several points that my parents and I always avoided, such as prominence, difficult choices and the obligation to step out of the role of always been seen as a good person. We just experience the same thing every year, valuing simple experiences, like taking a family photo every time we buy pizza because it's an event. So remodeling an entire way of living would be a huge headache. But I see others, including those who earn less than me, living much better and having new experiences.
Honestly, I think it's getting easier and easier to make money, the problem is how far you're willing to go. You have thousands of profiles making money by stealing content from others, you have artificial intelligence to carry out processes, algorithms that will segment your audience for you, people spending loads of money on games, people spending hours watching content that are just being reacted ou created to react... I don't know if itâs possible to understand what I mean, but as I work in marketing for a large company, I see so many simple things raising a lot of money just by the way they are sold and that makes me reflect. Lies are not used, but my boss is almost at that level.
Even if my view of accessible money is wrong, the point is that I see opportunities that I just don't embrace due to the famous Christian guilt. Will I make money by copying something someone else created? Will I make more money deceiving someone by keeping their attention on something that I think is futile?
Is it okay to scam someone on the internet if the money is going to be used to take care of someone who has always done good for others and never looked after themselves? This all seems wrong. I'm not saying that there are only these ways to make money. Just because you can make money doesnât mean itâs easy either. I know how many people don't even have this psychological pressure and still can't do it.
But as I mentioned in the title, my family has a history of cancer cases. Because of that, we made tests in the past and discovered some predispositions in the people here at home. Suspicious signs have appeared recently. I have a heavy conscience about succeeding in life at the expense of others, but won't the weight be even worse if one of my parents becomes so sick and I don't have the money to provide greater comfort?
And all this weight on my conscience with things that many will say that don't even make sense? And all this worry about âwhat if?â? This is due to the strong depression in the family too, unfortunately. This history of overthinking has unfortunately led some more distant relatives to commit suicide and I'm afraid that these heavy thoughts will increase in the minds of one of my parents. But how am I going to insist on therapy when I don't have the money to support the request that they continue doing it? My grandparents passed away without knowing how to deal with anxiety. My parents repeat the same traits and I, at half their age, am heading down the same path, but I'm trying to exit the cicle. Either I follow the illusion of being correct and continue the same path, but without the burden of conscience, or I play in the rules of the game of the capitalist world, prepared for the unforeseen events that may arise and rewarding the efforts of my parents, but with the weight of not having followed the teachings of a simple but good-hearted family.

2025.02.01 21:50 Zolado110 Adoptive parent protagonist theory (APPT)
It's a theory I created after chapter 4, the doctor's speeches with the protagonist made me think about it.
In Chapter 4, Harley implies that the protagonist didn't just come back because of the letter, he says that no one would come back because of a vague letter (which is true)no, there is an additional reason, the protagonist came back because of something, because of someone, because of a person
Let's develop this idea: if you look at the content of the letter, the letter says that the employees did not die, that they are still there, that is, if the protagonist was looking for a person This would be the opportunity to find out what happened to that loved one, so it makes perfect sense for them to go back in search of someone, because the letter gives the possibility that this person is alive and in the factory
Now, who exactly? Are they after? Well, I'll try to theorize ABOUT this
If I'm not mistaken, in the second dream section of chapter 3, the protagonist clearly has memories of being in the nursery, where the children stay, this implies that they worked at least where the the kids were (maybe they were a teacher? A caregiver? I don't know), another thing is that Harley doesn't recognize us, which means we're not that important, even though we work at the nursery, maybe we knew about the existence of the experiments, but seeing Cole who is literally a guard, they didn't know that they were literally people, to them they were animals/monsters I very much doubt that even if they knew about the experiments, they would know that they are people
Now with this scenario established, they would not only have contact with the staff but also with the children, so what if the person they are looking for is a child
Imagine, they by chance got close to a specific child, becoming friends with that child, but they become so close, that the protagonist considers adopting that child, but before they could adopt, this child was "chosen", the protagonist asked about the child, but Playtime lied saying that the child was adopted (maybe this will generate some tapes of the protagonist questioning this), the protagonist becomes suspicious of the sudden disappearance and begins to have second thoughts about the company
If we went to the dream section of chapter 3, we see that the protagonist heard on the radio the news that they found children's bones in Eliott's house, so they are well aware of the rumors as well, The dream section also talks about the protagonist's guilt, survivor's guilt because they are the only ones who noticed, but what if there is more guilt? It was their fault for not realizing it, for not saving their child in time and adopting them at once, taking them out of that hell that none of them needed to go through.
Now going back to Harley's words, he says that this person is probably dead, after everything that happened at the factory it is unlikely that the child is alive, which is logical to assume.
(the protagonist also seems to assume this, if you see, the protagonist tries to leave in chapter 2 and tries to escape again in chapter 4 after planting the explosives,so the protagonist thinks that the person he is looking for is either not here or is dead)
In fact, it is one of the possible answers that the adoptive parent protagonist theory can lead to...... But what if the child is still alive? What if we have already found them?
And there are two possibilities that I have: Huggy and Kissy, they are the only living, relevant toys and that the revelation would have an impact on, they can create a new character for this, but I think it's unlikely at this point
Poppy and prototype are unlikely, since their Lore is tied to Elliott, besides Poppy has already confirmed that she is Elliot's daughter and the prototype is linked to her
Now how did Kissy and Huggy not recognize us? Well, besides the experiments could mess with the personality, intelligence and memories of the experiments as a consequence, so it's not unlikely that they would have simply forgotten (đ)
Furthermore, the protagonist himself may have changed a lot physically, remember they have confirmedly suffered from guilt for and following this theory, they lost the child they were going to adopt as their own, they would be very stressed, stress is known to age people very quickly, It is not unlikely that stress and guilt have made them look older, making it difficult for the two to recognize each other.
So there are reasons why they are his children and basically don't recognize each other anyway, I don't even need to argue how the protagonist wouldn't recognize Huggy or Missy
Now which of the two is the child the protagonist would be looking for? Kissy is a good candidate, the player is already good friends with her, she is alive until now in chapter 5 (as far as we know, please don't) So it makes sense that the protagonist's ultimate goal would be to save Kissy, it would also give her character an extra purpose in the end.
Now Huggy is super interesting for the theory, as the two tried to kill each other without knowing about their past relationship, the player has a great feaptsd of Huggy, in fact the game In fact, the player builds the relationship between the player and Huggy all the time. Of all the experiments, Huggy is the one the player is most afraid of.
Of all the experiments, the only one where the player clearly trembles with fear and even runs slower is Huggy during the chase in chapter 1.
In chapter 3, in the dream section where it talks about the protagonist's guilt, where it would talk about the child they failed to save, the one who appears at the end is Huggy as the representation of this, in the second section of dreams the one who appears at the end is Huggy again
In fact Huggy has constantly been the most antagonistic figure to the protagonist, Huggy also clearly feels anger and revenge for the pain the protagonist has put him through, now Seeing all this, their relationship, it would make a lot of sense that the child the protagonist wants to save is Huggy, because Huggy is the one who is most present in the protagonist's mind and subconscious.
There is another silly piece of evidence for Huggy, which is that Huggy is compared to "Darth Vader" and the prototype is compared to "Palpatine"
Now, I'm not a Star Wars fan, I haven't watched any of the movies and my biggest interaction with the franchise has been playing the Lego games, but if I'm not mistaken,Darth Vader betrays Palpatine to protect his son "Luke"
What if this happened but the dynamic was reversed, the protagonist "Luke" is Huggy's parent "Vader" and that's what makes them betray the prototype "Palpatine"?
Ok, to summarize: the protagonist was looking for a child that they wanted to adopt in the past and this child may be:
1: the child is dead
2: the child is Kissy
3: the child is Huggy
Ok, I think that's it, this got big, I don't think the theory has much evidence (hard to have when there isn't much information about the protagonist) it's more of an idea I had in my head
I decided to develop this theory, it's more about Huggy, I think it's the most interesting thing they can do with this idea, well, tell me what you think?

2025.02.01 21:50 Quirky_Advantage_470 PWHL Coverage Appreciation
The 1st of February and I just finished watching the Toronto Scepters defeat the Ottawa Charge 4 to 2 and it got me to think, when as someone who lives south of the 49th parallel have I seen an all Canadian NHL game on ESPN or TNT? I do understand that there are only six team but an hour before the puck drop was on national tv Chicago vs Florida. Basically my access to NHL coverage consisted of a handful of teams in some combination. Until the playoffs I rarely see a Canadian based NHL team. As a fan of hockey I like seeing hockey in Canada. Okay enough of my rambling, thank you

2025.02.01 21:50 xMediumRarex First time pickling.
Hey guys, really been wanting some spicy pickled serranos, like the kind you get at taco trucks. So I grabbed a huge bag of fresh peppers, some carrots, garlic and vinegar. I brought the brine, which was peppercorns, vinegar, and a bit of sugar, to a boil. Then added it to my fresh peppers, garlic and carrots. Gotta wait around a week or two though :( submitted by xMediumRarex to mexicanfood [link] [comments] |
