Hey there! I'm a Graphic Designer with more than a few years of experience and would love to take on new projects to diversify from the boring work I do at the day job.
My rate is $25 per hour but I prefer working and pricing based on the projects and discuss what you'd like to get done to figure out the best outcome with your budget in mind. Usually charging between $150 and $300 depending on the complexity of the projects, delivery time and a few other things.

The first line of this page is screwing my head up bad, and it always happens with maths. They assume you know what they're talking about constantly, and here it seems like the sentence is going in on itself.
Basically the picture next to it is a line and significant curve meeting at a point, P. But here's the thing, they call it "gradient of the curve". But which is even which?? They say at the start the tangent is drawn on a curve. Alright then, I've seen movies and classes before, the big curve is the curve, the line, the tangent.
But then they call this the gradient/slope. OK, gradient is probably Greek or smth for curve we will use it. But then WHY is it "gradient of the curve"??!!? THESE ARE BOTH THE SAME THING WITH DIFFERENT NAMES. WHY CALL THEM BOTH SLOPES? ITS A LINE NOT A SLOPE STOP MAKING IT SO CONFUSING IDEK IF I GET IT AND IVE JUST EXPLAINED IT!
So yeah, help on explaining this and calculus differentiation in general would be lovely.

So i recently found out my brother Scott who is 39 has been with Diamond who is 31 and he’s been sleeping with her for about 7 years now here’s the issue Diamond Is Mentally Disabled she has the mind of a kid . As a child she was mentally verbally amd sexually abused by alot of people.
But something my brother told me last month made my skin crawl he said: She ( Diamond) only listens to people when they are being sexual with her meaning she only responds to sexual things.
Should I get my brother locked up or is that even legal to sleep with someone who is mentally disabled?

2025.02.01 22:01 soups_foosington My Theory: The Numbers, Revivification, and Cold Harbour
Apologies in advance if anyone has already put these ideas down - I'm a lurker + occasional poster on this sub + have synthesized this theory based on my own impressions of the show but also parts of other peoples theories.
SO.
A thing that hasn't sat right with me throughout the show is the fan theory of revivification. Specifically, the way macrodata refinement - the work they're doing - may somehow enable the revivification of a person or body. Especially given the way theories have advanced since the end of season 2 episode 1, which appeared to show a computer screen for the Cold Harbour project, featuring a picture of Gemma / Ms. Casey, and various status completion bars and an image of dead neurons (thanks to the reddit poster who pointed that out), it seems people are homing in this. But I still can't quite get there - if Gemma died in a car crash - an explosive one, per Mark's description - she's gone. And whoever Ms. Casey is, is not her - she may be a clone, or some kind of Frankenstein-esque reconstruction. And even if it is her - let's say she almost died in the crash, but not quite - and was brought back from the brink through exotic plastic surgery, we're still left with this idea of the reconstruction of the brain, which various clues point toward. As this is a work of fiction, I'm lead to believe that none of Gemma's brain survived the crash, simply because the show has told us this, and because any other truth would be less interesting.
But this leaves us with the rest of the apparent facts, the most important one being that iMark is integral to the completion of Cold Harbour, which Gemma / Ms. Casey are at the heart of. Clearly, the two are linked - no other severed employee could complete Cold Harbour. And Cold Harbour is a Macrodata Refinement project. So, what I've been trying to figure out is - what is iMark doing when he is refining? And what about Macrodata Refinement would help them rebuild the brain of a different person? And then I realized - they're not rebuilding a different person, I think they're just mapping themselves.
Revivification is not truly "bringing back a person from the dead" in a traditional sense - it's a product of having a chipped brain. Lumon is attempting to manufacture and sell the ability to perceive a passed person as alive, and Mark & Gemma / Ms. Casey are subject 0. I believe that the Eagans may be chipped, and effectively live in a world where Kier is, to them, very much alive. How? Kier disciples who lived contemporaneously with him may have documented their own emotions regularly on paper, and this data could easily be digitized and fed into a chip as emotional stimulus. With a big enough dataset, the Eagans could know - or believe they know - what it "felt like" to know Kier first hand. And with the assistance of a chip, may be under a delusion of knowing him as though he lives on.
Which brings us back to Mark. To me, Macrodata Refinement appears to be a modern continuation of this practice. The severance chip is actually responsible for stimulating small emotions - the tempers - in iMark while he's refining, and when he sorts them, he is helping to "refine", or calibrate the chip to his own mind. He's telling the computer when he feels frolic, woe, and so-on. And in that way, they're mapping iMark's mind. What they can do with that map is provoke an emotional response akin to reconnecting with his past loved one - even if the person in front of them is a fabrication. Perhaps Ms. Casey can also be guided by a chip to reinforce Mark's chip-aided perceptions - she seems to be quite under the control of Lumon anyway. And to that end, there may be a type of Kier reconstruction - whether it's based on his DNA, or a cyborg or just his likeness imposed onto the husk of present-day severed person - already walking the earth.
I realize this is not quite in step with certain other theories, and may not fit perfectly alongside known facts (I'm a close watcher of the show but can't quite hold it all in my brain at once). But to me, it clicks with certain elements of the show and explains certain incongruities. For example, I think the stiltedness of the Eagans may not simply be the eccentricity of the elites - I think it's possible this is a side effect of *literally* having the emotional profile of an 19th century cult follower, as (imperfectly) expressed by a chip in their brain.
