 | Hey guys! So I recently saw they released the new plates for 2025. I have a question on the form that I’m probably going to have to call them about Monday, but still curious if you guys knew what it meant: The “New Owner, please check one” section. I have non-personalized plates right now. Would you just leave this section blank? Also I just bought a new vehicle last week but still have my current active plates that expire in April. 2025.02.01 22:50 Pr0f-x New pan - burnt food/fat
I went in at the deep end tonight. New debuyer and its first cook was about 10 home made beef patties.
I know that hot water and a wipe or light scrub with nothing too abrasive is normally the way but beef is quite intense, I found myself deglazing with some simmering water and a wooden spatula to get the stubborn bits off like I do with my stainless steel pans.
Is this the process also for CS?
It did seem to strip a little seasoning off so after cleaning I heated it up, let it cool and applied another couple of thin layers.
Did I do the right thing here? I assume you don’t want to allow any carbon build up. But at which point should I stop worrying about seasoning after cleaning? I only seasoned again because it was a new pan and I had to get tough on the stuck overcooked beef fat.

2025.02.01 22:50 krow1503 Should i changed out cables too?
My car seems to need a jump start like maybe every two weeks, so im finally changing out the battery, should i be changing any other cables or connections? My kids went inside my car started playing with lights and car wouldnt turn on anymore, every now and then also it wont turn on so i have to jump start, at this point im 90% sure its the battery so as soon as i park i turn all the lights off and stuff. Im finally going to buy a new battery but the top looks like it has buildup on it so wondering what other stuff i should replace. Seems like the guy who sold it to me never really maintained it. Changed out the cabin air filter, the engine filter, they looked filthy, Did the oil change, car runs very well, only thing is since i bought it months ago, it doesnt turn on at random times, sometimes i dont need to jump start, i just wait a few minutes and it'll turn on. Any advice is welcome

I comment something, person A replies to me then blocks me. Person B also replies separately and doesn't block me and isn't blocked by me.
When I try to reply to person B, it won't let me. Makes zero sense, person B and I have no beef with each other at all, there is no reason for us to not be able to continue on on our own thread.
This happens to me all the time in especially political subreddits, where people are very angry about everything, and frequently someone blocks you for just saying some calm sentence about a policy they don't like. You then get forced out of what may be a nice productive good conversation with 10 other people, because this bug shuts down the whole thread for you.
And nobody else even knows what happened.

I have column_A and it is a multi-select picklist column where it could have values like A, AB, ABC, AC, and so on. I want to get all distinct values and count their frequencies so I should get something like A=4, B=2, C=2, and so on.
For this, I have calculated fields written for every distinct value such as A = IF CONTAINS([column_A], “A”) THEN 1 ELSE 0 END, B = IF CONTAINS([column_A], ”B”) THEN 1 ELSE 0 END, and so on.
I have all distinct values in column_A in one worksheet.
In worksheet #2, I have column_B, which is also a multi-select picklist column and calculated fields are written similar to above formulas. And lastly, I have another worksheet #3 and I‘m working with column_C here, which is also a multi-select picklist column.
I have all these worksheets in dashboard A with filter actions. BUT I can only use worksheet #1 to filter worksheet #2 and #3. I can’t use worksheet #2 and #3 to filter each other and worksheet #1. Why is that? Is there another way to do what I want to do here? Thanks!

Honestly im kind of jealous that most people can pull up a picture/scenery when they close their eyes and thinking about it while all i see is pitch black. I mean i can think about what something looks like or is but i cant actually "see" it.

Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi, proposed a design of a statue of a robed Saeid Misr woman holding a torch at the entryway of the Suez Canal in Egypt. The working titles were "Egypt Carrying the Light to Asia" and "Progress Carrying the Light to Asia". The statue would stand at 86 feet, and the pedestal would be 48 feet. It was declined by the Khedive due to the cost. In 1869, Port Said Lighthouse was designed in the same location. Bartholdi would recycle his idea and adapt it for The Statue of Liberty.

2025.02.01 22:50 Polychromaticamalgum What is even the point of the Bigger Bodies initiative and Playtime's dark ins and outs?
So just finished 4 the other day and so confused. I know the point is each chapter is darker and has more lore but honestly I can say fairly openly and whole-heartedly fuck all the adults in it. At least you have characters like the construction crew, parents and operations people but other than them come on. They are all so cartoonishly evil at this point.
I had a conversation in the reddit before about how does the bigger body even make sense or help cost? The amount of money they'd be spending on cover ups and facilitates and a fully functioning lab and orphanage alone would have more than ruined them. Now we add on a full security prison for all the toys to be locked up inside of and a super deep underground lab that is still functional years later and same with a highly defensible safe haven. I mean again come on how was a few human sizes toys worth that? Just get a better marketing team and designers would have been maybe 1-2 million in employee pay and expenses. I can't even imagine how much a single underground excavation and construction would cost.
At least with ludwig he seemed to truly believe in what he was doing but some of these other characters begin to get into cartoonishly morbid and evil. It's like everyone that worked at playtime were all william aftons. Like stella some believed she was a victim originally then suddenly we learn not only did she know she somehow self gaslit herself into believing killing and experimenting on kids would "make the world better for kids". Then we have the Doey stuff where they obviously started to kidnap kids from external means as well and even killed the parents. How can they be so sloppy and not a single person caught onto this and why did it have to be Jake? and why did they kill his parents like just say "hey sorry he died sufficated in the dough". Then threatening a guy who is building your facilitate and almost push him off a ledge wow how lucky he didn't immediately report him to the police and tell them about the suspicious construction and toy company with tons of kids going missing. Also 60+ people died in a theater incident, how is covering up all these incidents and murders not more expensive than just idk making normal toys. An even the employees knew about the bigger bodies or at least the suspicious coming and goings of the company to the point they joked and worried about it.
An that's just this chapter alone it really feels like the lore just wants them to be evil and doesn't really have a reason anymore.

This does not mean that because someone was born here nearly 60 years ago and is now a national figure, this is the place to discuss their status as a national figure.
It does not mean that because Minnesota is a state in the U.S., national politics/federal law gets a pass. We lightened up on that during the election while Governor Walz was VP, but have been enforcing it again for almost 3 months now.
We get it, trust us. What’s going on nationally is unprecedented and, for many, it’s scary. Being in the know is important. But there are subs for that and if you want to be in the know, you should join those subs.
Posts about federal/national issues will continue to be removed unless they involve a figure who has a current and relevant connection to MN (like Ken Martin or one of the MN senators/reps), they involve an issue that has a unique or disparate impact on MN compared to the other states as a whole (like the BWCA), or they’re about local events that are related to national issues (like protests physically occurring in MN).
And, yes, we’ve seen the uptick in trolling, too. Please review the rules and make sure you’re following them before posting or commenting. Please continue to report posts and comments that clearly violate the rules.
