Hello,
Our landlord is raising our rent $100 a month so my wife and I decided to buy a home! At first we were excited about the prospect of finally owning a house. However we quickly found out that most of the single family homes were beyond our financial capabilities. The few that were in our price range needed a lot of work. We decided to buy a condo, but I feel discouraged and that I let my family down that I was not able to provide what I thought would be a "good" home. Just had a newborn as well.
Could use some encouragement or some advice.

I have an elegoo mars 4 which I recieved last month for christmas. Its been a day or two since i last used it and now every time I try to print something the build plate will lower into the printing bed and then slowly rise back up to its initial postion and stay there. The screen still says its printing the layers but the build plate just rises back to the top. Please someone tell me what to do because im going crazy trying to fix this

 | Putter project of the day! Found a dual balance 6m for cheap but the grip was tattered. Always thought the static weight of the dual balance was way too high. Felt like swinging an anvil. Drilled out the 50g counter weight. Popped on this sweet new Evnroll long grip and reduced the head weight slightly. Clocks in at svelte 648 grams now and so solid. I honestly didn't know where to post this, but I guess this would be a good place to ask regarding the events that transpired at the Radius in Chicago on Jan 31st, 2025, when a beam fell onto an attendee and hospitalized them. How can this be avoided in the future? There's no way with how loud and vibrational EDM music is these venues aren't routinely checked for structural faults. Do venues normally check for infrastructure? Does anyone know how this event happened? Was it negligence or a freak accident? My question, I guess, is how can this be avoided in the future? This was an awful event that most likely could've been avoided. My heart goes out to anyone directly involved. I guess I'm asking here for anybody in the event industry or who works with venues to answer what the fuck happened at Radius, especially during an EDM show. Fucking horrific. If there's any other subreddits I could post this under, direction would be greatly appreciated.
