So I’m looking at a 2020 Toyota Camry SE with 53,000 miles selling OTD with TAX cash for 22300
Or
A 2018 Toyota xse with 91k miles OTD with TAX cash for 21750 and that’s including a 30k powertrain warranty.
My thoughts are the 2020 has less miles, but it has all the necessities you would need for options.
while the 2018 has all the bills and whistles see pic But it has double the miles
I plan to drive this car for 10 years and I put on around 12 to 13,000 a year miles. Both have two owners no accidents no rentals.
2018 has a better maintenance history with no scratches or any kind of dents.
Has a minor scratch on the side side of the bumper can’t see via photo. But all in all very solid car. I’m pretty torn and I can’t make it decision. Any questions/advice please I’m making a decision by Monday. I have a deposit on both. Ty

My best friend and I have known each other for 12 years. We became friends when our relationships ended at the same time and bonded over it. We further bonded when we realised we both lost our mums at 15. We have been a pair for most of this time and have done everything together and been like twins. We’ve been on 9 holidays together, I taught him to drive so he didn’t have to take any lessons, I’m the first person he called when his dad died at 5am
He did used to be a very humble person but I suppose it would be difficult not to change if your financial circumstances had such a drastic change from working in a supermarket half your life to being able to buy yourself anything you ever wanted. I want to make it very clear I have never asked anything from him before or after this up until a few months ago
4 years ago when his dad died he inherited 12 houses which all have the mortgage paid off and he recently purchased 2 more flats. I have been off work but I do have savings. I have been off work because I suffered from a blood clot. The next door neighbours became a student house and my life became a nightmare
I asked him if he would consider renting one of these flats to me and he said ‘I think that’s something you should achieve on your own, stop expecting friends to help’
This was completely out of the blue and was a bit of a flex and I feel it’s because I’ve always been the one who showed him things rather than the other way around and he’s felt a bit insecure and he did say to me a few years ago he’s really unhappy because he’s not good at anything but all I’ve ever done is bring him along to the things I enjoy and have always invited him to hang out and not to make him feel like he’s shit at football. I don’t want to babble on but this provides a bit more context and in no way do I mean to insult him or share any of these points of view
I’m writing this post because this attitude continued since and I’ve lost my best friend. He’s taken shots at every single group of people, insulting people he deems below him, being rude to customer service staff, women, teachers, people who can’t afford water

I’ve applied to almost every trade school and apprenticeship program in the Bay Area, and the silence is deafening. No callbacks, no interviews, nothing. And before anyone jumps in with “maybe your application wasn’t strong enough,” I come with two years of construction experience in roofing and waterproofing. I’ve been working in the trades since I was 15, learning from my grandfather, a handyman who built his reputation through hard work. I know my way around tools, safety protocols, and a job site. Yet here I am, still waiting for a shot.
I can’t help but ask: why does it feel like trade schools and unions are gatekept? Why do Latinos seem to fall short of getting in? Is it the assumption that we don’t speak English well enough? That we can’t communicate effectively? Or that we somehow “don’t belong” in unions?
And here’s where the conversation gets uncomfortable. Trade schools and unions claim to be for the working class, but who’s really getting the opportunities? Are these spaces owned by people who pick and choose who they let in? Because it sure as hell isn’t feeling like an equal opportunity system.
Before anyone gets offended—this isn’t about saying one race works harder than another. It’s about acknowledging that Latinos constantly have to prove themselves ten times over to get half the recognition. Meanwhile, people will act like we’re imagining it.
All I want is for these stereotypes to die out. If we actually worked together instead of gatekeeping the industry, imagine the strength of our communities. But until then, how many more applications do I need to send just to get a damn response?

As result day approaches, my anxiety gets really bigger. I'm really scared like most of you all. I studied hard for it but the test was really different from what I studied. I have faith in my lord and one thing that has calmed me down a little bit is remembering that I might get a curve, however, even with the curve I don't know if I'll get in. I got form D. Anyways, to my question, on result day, how do you view your results in person? Does your school give you your results during the day or do you have to go after school?
