2025.02.02 00:30 Thomas_Raccoon New tank has been cycling for only 3 weeks and parameters look good, is it normal?
 | I've set up my first planted tank ever 3 weeks ago, with a cleaned (but not fully scrapped) second hand filter, a large piece of wood, a probably previously used lava rock and adding some fish food in it. I'm also adding fertiliser from time to time. Plants have been growing very well and saw some creatures in the water this week (which I read as good sign), along with some very minor bits of green algae (which I already read as a good sign). I've just got my water test kit and it looks like the amonia and nitrite are where they should be, and there is just a tiny bit of nitrate. I'm planning to let it mature a bit longer, just to be sure, but it looks like the tank is ready for shrimps and that's gone much faster than I expected... Did anyone else have this choice? If so, what did you choose and how has it turned out?
I'll be honest, I'm kind of miserable living with my family. I love them, but they're always making noise, I have no privacy, and they're also pretty strict.
I can't even stay behind in the library to study without them calling me multiple times to check in on me. I end up having to pack up and go home by like 1pm lol.
I have made no friends. Not been to a single party or social event. I have not had a sip of alcohol or smoked. I feel like a bit of a loser compared to everyone else but my parents would never let me do anything. I'm not even allowed to drive when it gets dark.
I wish I could go to college away from home but I could never afford it. My college is very cheap and not having to dorm saves so much money. So I'm kind of stuck between saving money or going into severe debt just to get "the college experience." Is it worth it?

My wife and I have not been very active together sexually in a few months. My therapist recommended to take initiative so I decided to take a trip to the grocery store to get some groceries for us. I was hungry when I got back because it was labor intensive to carry everything into the house so I had consumed the entire bottle of chocolate milk for lunch. My wife was happy that I had picked up groceries and wanted to take things to another level, however the chocolate milk had a warning saying “keep refrigerated”. I had decided to take out all of the groceries and go inside the fridge (Kenmore Elite) so I can stay refrigerated as the milk digested. My wife was upset and did not want to go in the fridge with me to get frisky. Not sure what went wrong, but I want to get my wife back.

Dude in his late 20s with a classic door to door salesman look (random lanyard, clipboard bright tee shirt…) Came to my house saying he had a “drop off” while holing what looked like a bunch of off brand phones/tablet… for Medicare/madicaid beneficiary at this location.
When I said no, he asked, “do you know the name of the person who lived here before who had Medicaid?” I do because we get their random mail occasionally, but did not give any info because this dude smelled like bullshit.
If he’s dropping shit off then shouldn’t he know who he’s dropping it off for? Sketch as hell. Anyone know about this? I thought scamming elderly people first, but then worried maybe it was ICE trying to get info. I got a clear pic of the dude.

Hey yall hope everyone’s doing well! I had my sleeve done October 20, 2024 with my HW 315 I’m now down to 250 and I feel great but I’ve been stuck here for a few weeks now Im exercising eating right and I’m not sure what’s going on I’ve heard it happens I just don’t know if I’ve plateaued too long now and if I should be upping my exercise or dropping calories with my intake being around 1100-1500 with an active burn of 1000 throughout my days. Any advice is appreciated.

I’ve been pooled to St Edmunds, which is a 25 minute walk from Sidgwick.
I originally applied to Newnham, which is a couple minutes walk to Sidgwick.
I have a few disabilities and can’t/walk travel very far. From what google tells me there is no direct bus service between St Edmunds and Sidgwick site (may be wrong?)
I was wondering whether anyone may be able to tell me who i should talk to regarding this issue?

Afternoon friends, I have a pice of Kubota tech in a Bobcat MT52 I cannot figure out, if anyone has any ideas on my issue I would really appreciate it.
I have a d722 engine in an mt52 and I bought the machine blown up as someone dumped too much oil into the crank case and threw a rod out the side of the motor.
I bought the machine and bought a new OEM block and rebuilt the motor from the ground up. I dropped the motor in and the machine ran beautifully. Long story short the rear main seal slid out as it was the incorrect part so I pulled the motor only removing the bare minimum as motor mounts, hydro pump, electrical to the starter and alternator and the cooling system as in top and bottom radiator hose. I only pulled off the return fuel line and the inlet fuel line to the pump.
I put the motor back in and the machine takes a good 30 seconds of cranking with some black smoke and only then will it start and everything runs great. Machine has great power and zero issues. The only issue is it won't restart without 30 seconds of cranking every single time, even if you only shut it off three seconds ago.
I have installed new injectors, new glow plugs, new lift pump, new fuel bulb.
I just don't get what happened in between It running great and not starting very well now. Nothing on the engine was pulled or changed between the rear main being pulled. I didn't even drain the engine oil changing the rear main.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
