Had a family death recently, my Great Uncle he was 90. The man was loaded and abit of a hermit, I used to clean his house for him twice a week, so I was someone liked. Me and my grandparents were the only people in the family that he actually liked and saw regularly, he was a pretty hard man, with pretty hard opinions, he didn't really like anyone for his own reasons and sometimes those reasons could be the pettiest thing, and once he didn't like someone, that was it, he never would.
Most of the family, he didn't like. And he was the type that if he had beef with someone's Dad or mum or anyone they were closely related to, even if it was beef from years ago, he put that beef on their kids too, but privately, he never saw anyone, so none of them had any idea.
Me and my Grandparents have known about his will for the last maybe 10 years. Everything he has is mainly going to my Grandparents, and he was leaving me a little something too. None of us ever said anything or told anyone about this. And he was the one who told us of his will. He's now passed, and the will is being set in motion, and going through the necessary legalities and what not.
I was with a group of family recently, and they were all talking about "what they could be getting from him." Because it was no secret that he had a shit tonne of money in the bank. And I just blurted out (because I didn't like how "vulturey" they were talking.) "None of you are getting anything.." One of them said "How do YOU know?" So I told them..I knew of his will, and what was on it.. And it all kicked off.
I told my Grandparents and they were annoyed, not really at me, but the situation. However, my Grandad said "You shouldn't have said anything though" so I said "They were going to find out eventually..What were we going to do? Lie and say we never got anything either? When they question where all his money has gone? And my Grandma said "We could have told everyone he left it all to charity." I laughed a little and said "We all knew what he was like, there's no way they'd believe that."
So, WITA for just bursting everyone's bubble when they were talking about it after he passed? ~

I recently got into 4k collecting, and I've been pleasantly surprised by the variety of films that have received 4k releases. When I went to blu-ray.com to look up releases for The Boondock Saints, I was 99.9% certain that it would have already had a 4k release. But, alas, only a standard blu-ray.
Does anyone know if there's a specific reason this cult film hasn't received a 4k release yet? I wouldn't even think a boutique label would have to distribute it - this seems like something 20th Century Fox would have already done themselves.

Hi guys, I’m looking to join Hyperoptic as I’m moving flats and this is the only provider that works there. I just wanted to know if they were reliable? I found a deal for £27.50 monthly rolling that gives 150mbps. Although I am scared that this monthly rolling has strings attached.
It says it’ll be £40 a month after 12 months on the contract (ideally I only need it for 6months). Am I reading too much into this thinking that they’ll make me stay for 12 months or is it legit that I can leave whenever provided I can give 30 days notice beforehand?
Just wanted to be a bit apprehensive. Thanks.

I was just going through couple of posts in this sub Reddit and suddenly realized one of the key reasons people put on weight especially in India is because of the amount of ghee/butteany fat into their dish. Regulating the fat pretty much helps the person big time with amount of calories intake.
In urban cities: Are there no startups where they cater protein packed food for office/family gatherings?
In Tier 2/3 cities: General consensus of atleast my parents and other family members is that they hog like crazy during functions.
Most of the elderly does communal walk in the evenings pretty religiously.
What do you think is stopping them to go workout instead of walking? Not saying walking is bad! But only walking doesn’t help with increasing muscle mass.
Irony is most of my family members are diabetic.

Make me an offer if you like. I looked at the new prices and listed these at what I thought was fair.
Men's Medium Micro Puff. 9.3oz. Had this for a few years but it was only worn a few times. 90% of the jacket is in nearly new condition. The first time I wore it I got a 1/4" or so hole in the back of the right shoulder. It has been tenacious taped since then. When looking it over for the sale, I saw that there is a small (dime sized) spot of snagged/inconsistent fabric pattern on the top of both shoulders. No idea how it happened. Maybe a pack had crap on the straps? Dunno. It was hard to get pics of but I did my best. This charcoal color isn't available anymore. These are $329 new right now. $175 shipped.
Men's Montbell Down Pants. I got these for a winter trip 5 or so years ago and never wore them. I got them used, but I don't remember where from. Likely here. They have hung on a hanger in my closet since I got them. They went on a trip or two but never left my pack. Other than the tags looking worn, these look and feel basically new. These are on closeout on Montbell website for $175. $100 shipped.
I haven't sold on here for a few years so I'm sure it'll say I have zero history, which is fine. You can look at my post history and see that I'm not new.
