I’m just out of college and I’m a field engineer I for a huge Inc. (I’m in the renewables sector). Although I’m glad I got my foot in the door, and expect to gain lots of time/experience here. I’m hoping that there’s a permanent location job that I can find using this experience. I’m not worried about the hours too much as I’m worried about changing location, even if it’s a few years the fact that I’m never going to have a permenant home scares me, even if it’s an apartment I don’t care. I don’t think I’ll be able to handle constantly moving even if it’s long term work. Is there any options for me.

As far as I’m concerned, I get the feeling it’s a sort of Wizard of Oz situation. There’s no real board, it’s just the people we’ve already seen in charge of things at Lumon: Natalie herself, Helena, that big dude that’s usually with Helena whose name I forget, James Eagan. The main thing that makes me think this is how in season 1, the board says to Cobel through Natalie that they’ll talk to her at the party, and then at the party there’s ostensibly no one of note there who’s not just the already known top brass. That and Natalie being seemingly okay with taking some initiative of her own when speaking for “the board”, which would make sense if she’s actually serving as the frontman of the board and also is a part of it. Why create this fiction when they’re already in charge at Lumon anyway? Well, just like in the Wizard of Oz, all of the mystery and spectacle is just a way to give themselves more weight and mystique, and also to deflect attention from themselves, as a way to limit the chances of getting their control challenged. You’re less likely to be the target of a coup if people think you’re just a goon running errands for a mysterious and powerful group pulling the strings from behind the scenes.

Hi guys! I've had my account for more than 15 years, but it was always me buying stuff. Recently, I had an action figure that I want to sell, so I created my first listing ever.
I already have a buyer, but this person tells me the listing only offers deliveries for local buyers. I'm in Ireland, and the buyer-to-be is from the UK, not even 2 hours away from here, but eBay only offers delivery to people in the Republic.
I've tried everything I could, from selecting different services and tracking their fees in every website, to selecting only UK as the delivery option, but the buyer, and now more people interested, keep finding that shipping is only available for Ireland.
Is there anything I'm missing? I've tried many newbie tutorials on YouTube, but none seem to talk about this specific issue, nor any website I checked. What should I do here?

I had posted here awhile ago about him coming back. I got into a new relationship, and after maybe a month, my ex tried contacting me on all social media platforms he had access to, and my phone number. I ignored all advances and proceeded to block him on everything. He seemed like he thought he was entitled to me responding, and entitled to a conversation. He simply said he wanted to talk and left it at that.
Now I have been struggling with wondering if blocking was right. Morally, for who I am, it had been feeling petty. It’s out of character for me because I usually try to be kind and open and accepting, and to shut down, block, etc. felt wrong. It’s also very important to mention that the thought of seeing him in public fills me with anxiety. When I see someone resembling him, my heart sinks, my breathing gets faster and I am just overran by anxiety. My hands shake. So, I wanted to express that there’s no hard feelings by unblocking him. It would fit my morals, and also hopefully help alleviate some of the anxiety I get by knowing I did the “right” thing in my mind.
However, I hadn’t made up my mind about unblocking. I unblocked him on one platform and honestly forgot about it, since I’m busy. Until I was online a bit ago and saw he sent me a message earlier this week that I didn’t see. He essentially claimed me unblocking was to stalk him and suggested that I’m focussing on him rather than my current relationship.
This made me angry and finally solidified that I need to keep him blocked everywhere. The real kicker is that there’s no reason he should know I blocked and also unblocked him, as we never even followed each other on the platform. The only reason I knew he was there was because of a friend suggestion that this app decided to email me, since he was still in my contacts at the time he made the account. So, to know this, he had to search for me. The only way to know I’m in a relationship is also by stalking my accounts.
I feel a lot of things right now. But is it my fault that he reacted in such a confrontational way because I unblocked him? Is unblocking really that suggestive? I feel like he’s projecting at this point and filling in the blanks to something he hopes is true, that I’m still fawning over him while with a new partner. Completely untrue, because my new partner treats me like gold, and I love him more than anything.
It’s just frustrating, and it makes me wonder if it’s narcissistic. It also makes me wonder how far he’s going to take monitoring me

Purchased a PleX pass just for this. It seemed like an amazing feature. I analyzed the show i want to watch, added my Dutch subtitles, aaaand. Nothing. Auto-sync is on and it simply does not work. Subtitles are off by about 2 seconds.
I try the same with English subs and the feature works flawlessly. Does this only work if the subtitles are the same as the spoken language? That seems weird to me. Could i be doing something wrong?

First of all I would like to start off my stating I am NOT bragging, I do not no not deserve this more than anyone else.
Backstory. Last January I moved to Mckinleyville into one of my dad’s properties and while it was being renovated the power was being shut off. But when it was shut on pge never began charging us. I asked my dad about this and he said it was normal and had actually happened to him before. Time goes by and I don’t think about it much. Thing is. It’s been a whole year. This doesn’t seem normal. He told me they’ll just turn the power off one day and he’ll call and get it turned back on. (Context: he’s on the bills as I’m disabled and can’t pay) has anyone else experienced this? I’d really like to know when they’re shut it off so I have some notice at least. Or is he just lying to me and has been getting charged this whole time?
