Has anyone gotten it and played on steamdeck?
I cannot properly tag this, but I have the answer to the question. I have a steamdeck and I am currently playing sims 2 since I doubt I will play the sims. I bought both regardless because I love the game as a whole so I'll buy it for collection purposes.
Anyway, I've downloaded the game and it loaded just fine. It seems to have good button mapping, similar to sims 4 if you play on steamdeck. The system says they don't know of its playable but it's playing fine for me. I can't wait to run a good shop in the game. Maybe I'll try rags to riches for once in sims 2.

I recently decided to switch my major from STEM to something non-STEM but plan on getting my Masterās and hopefully working in education (higher ed or with students). I was registered for some stem courses at the beginning of the quarter but dropped them before 20 day drop and Iām currently only taking 12 units. I feel like Iām not doing enough but it was too late to add any classes by that time. Iāve struggled in the past with depression and with everything going on right now, I feel really unmotivated. But I want to hopefully switch to Human Dev and double major in poli sci or something else to help me reach my goals? Anyone know if this is possible or have any advice/similar experiences? I feel like I failed but I know I have to keep pushing through especially because there are a lot of things I want to accomplish in college and after.

Some of these businesses have been opened for years, maybe longer than some people in this sub. All because YOU donāt agree with their political choices, and youāve convinced yourself that you, an American citizen, living in fucking California, is living in a fascist society where your entire life is going to be changed, you think itās okay to just ruin peopleās lives because of the views they hold.
And no, these views arenāt racist. You can try and prove me wrong all you want, but itās nothing more than parroting what youāve heard and read online.
This entire generation is stuck in the loop of advocating online but will do nothing in real life to change things. And no, you going to a protest doesnāt do anything either. If anything youāre showing your privilege of being able to be out there and protest while others have to work.

A few months ago I found that I can no longer access my Hotmail account via Gmail. On researching a bit it seems that this is due to both Hotmail and Gmail upgrading their security protocols.

I don't really know where to start, I came back from a long holiday which I enjoyed a lot back in 2014/15. I was a teenager 14-15yo. I came back and straight got back into gaming and it was my escape I guess and still is from reality. I went to school, finished my high school, went to college and dropped out the first time, finished it the second time. Around 2016-18 I went up to 102kg, I never left the house, I was chronically online. Fast forward 2019 hit and covid-19 arrived. I live in the UK but this counts for most of the world, isolation started, places closed down, my work/school transitioned to remote and from there on it's now 2025 and during this time I've maybe left the house less than 20 times. It's crazy, I have imprisoned myself for so many years but never cared about it. I have always been an introvert and don't get me wrong I've had a social life and family, and the whole COVID isolation also gave me a reason to make this habit worse. I've dug myself into a fucked up hole and well shit I don't really know how to get out of it. It's so weird I just cannot get myself to join a gym and be consistent I've tried going to the gym signed up but after a day or so I just never went back. I can't get myself to go out for a run, I just feel ashamed. Hell my neighbours haven't seen me in months! I work, I am really into tech and gaming I have a really cool setup and items and that's basically my life. It's fucking sad. I've come to the conclusion that I will do a water fast after doing a lot of research. I want to do a 30 day water fast and hopefully lose 20-30kg and come down to 100-105kg range. And depending on how it goes I do want to continue on instead of breaking it at 30 days and get myself down to my ideal weight range which is 85-95kg. I have about 1-2 years left as a deadline I set myself to get my shit straight due to some family matters. No matter what I do I can't follow a strict diet, I can't stick to a workout routine with my shitty diets. So it's either food or no food. I will have to cut off food, I've taken safety measurements. I know what I'm doing, fortunately I somehow don't have health issues at the weight I am right now. So I don't have to worry about diabetes etc.
I've never written anything like this anywhere on the internet and I guess I just want to put it out there and hold myself accountable and come back everyday and use this post as motivation and keep posting updates.
People who are also trying to lose weight we can motivate each other and hold each other accountable. I am tired and done with living this way, my family is worried and have had enough as well but now it's all on me at the end of the day. Fuck it.

I had an idea the other day after reading the spoilers I figured out that the laughing is a key to the ponegrlyphs and that using AI I could possibly crack the code was able to build out an functional alphabet translate it from ponogrlyphs to Japanese then to English it all tracks and have muiltable hours of research into it I have cross checked real history lore , geography and pretty much everything else I can and it spitting out really good translation

I have never ever cooked tuna. Cooked plenty of Salmon and steak. I imagine tuna is like a fragile steak. I want to pan sear, keeping the insides rare just like I would a scotch fillet. the issue lies with my parents, they don't want to see even a little bit of colour inside the tuna. For my parents I want to charcoal grill or use the propane Webber Q to cook theirs so its cooked evenly and completely.
