So im running a AVR-S660H and a pair of Kef Q150s as my main speaker, for my sub and rear surrounds i'm using an pair of old Energy speakers I had. They are not the best but do the job.
Recently I have re-arranged my apartment, and the ideal placement for my sub happens to be across the room from my amp.
Due to this, I would rather use the speaker wire line level input on my subwoofer (subwoofer is active powered), because its easier for me to run a long bit of speaker wire around the room then it is to run RCAs.
I purchased some small RCA -> Speaker Wire convertors, and tried to plug them into my sub preouts. Problem is the volume is almost non existent when compared to using the RCAs.
Am I doing something wrong? Should I ditch trying to make this work and just buy some really long RCAs to run along the perimeter of my room?

This guy has a mini pump in the lower left hand corner, 2 grow lights up top and the front of the cabinet and front glass come off for maintenance. I ran it for 2 months to make sure it doesnāt leak. Canada is imposing itās own 25 per cent tariffs on $155 billion worth of U.S. goods after U.S. President Donald Trump slapped Canada with 25 per cent tariffs on all goods and 10 per cent tariffs on oil, natural gas and electricity.
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says the tariffs will take effect on $30 billion worth of goods starting Tuesday with a further $125 billion worth of products being taxed 21 days later.
Trudeau elected to go ahead with retaliatory tariffs even though Trumpās order includes a mechanism to escalate the rates if Canada retaliates against the U.S.
Canada will also look at how to limit export of rare minerals to the US which are crucial for US tech companies.
TLDR: Trade war is on! Stocks may take hit in coming days, weeks so position your portfolio carefully.

I have an Apertura AD10 that I bought not too long before the 4/2024 Solar Eclipse. Was great for that, but I haven't had a ton of time to put into it since then with work, and other stuff kicking my tail.
Traveled most of the month, but got home tonight and the sky was great, and Venus was right next to the moon. Went and grabbed my Dob, and got everything setup, only to realize I really have no idea what I'm doing with my eyepieces. Have spent the last 2 hours doing some research, and think I know what I'm going to do, but looking for some random Internet friends to validate (or call bullcrap!) on my path forward.
Right now I have the following: Apertura Superview 30mm Wide Field - Came with scope. Apertura ED 2x Barlow Apertura Plossl 9mm
I have never been able to get the Plossl t work at all. I was making the mistake as well of putting it in with the Barlow, which just distorts everything too much.
I watched a few videos, and really like Ed Ting, and his advice. My plan is to buy a couple of Tele Vue eye pieces. From his advice, I'm leaning in to a 27mm Panoptic for most viewing, and a 13mm Nagler for planets and the such. He had suggested an 11mm Nagler, but it appears Tele Vue no longer makes that.
Thoughts on the above? I assume that those two, combined with the Barlow should be pretty good for anything I want to look at? The 30mm that came with the scope is probably just not that good an option for most things.
