I was laid off 6 months ago from my Customer Success Supervisor job at a startup. Since then, I’ve applied to over 200 jobs online, met with 2 recruitment/ staffing agencies and even walked into retail stores with my resume! I’ve only had one interview so far and no offers. Sadly, my unemployment benefits have run out and my fiancée doesn’t make enough money to cover all of our rent and expenses. My savings are drained, I’m truly at a loss and my hair is falling out due to the stress! Another sad thing is that we may have to postpone or cancel our wedding in September. I know that it’s not the end of the world but still upsetting. I’m sorry if I’m coming off as whiney I’m just devastated by this job market.
Is anyone else in a situation like this? Does anyone know where places are hiring? How are people getting hired these days?

Why does it seem like we have to be the ones to apply pressure to the other team by being the tank. Everyone is being safe, and not moving forward. I end up throwing a damage, and sucking up that wonderful life, and then fading behind. Then! Miraculously the team surges forward, and you usually never have to do that again. Or am I'm just a garbage player, and have no idea what I'm talking about lol?

I haven't taken it out of the box yet but you can see the muzzle isn't glued on properly.
It doesn't show up on camera but there is something jagged about the edge of the left eye too. I can't tell if it's glue or not.
Everyone was sold out so I bought it off of ebay for $90. This means no Jakk's warranty. 😭
Should I roll the dice buying another one or are these cosmetic issues fixable? I'm not really skilled with this sort of thing.

2025.02.02 03:48 ddmjr22 Is 0 latency monitoring possible using the MOTU M2 with the 6xx's & Wave link 3 mic?
Hi I just recently bought the 6xx's. Previously switched from a pair of cheap iems (Blon bl3s) that I would plug into the Wave link's 3.5 Jack for 0 latency monitoring. Now I'm using the Fillo K11 amp.
After switching I've realized how much I miss the Wave links monitoring feature.. So If I were to buy a moto m2, would I be able to connect the 6xx and wave link mic to achieve 0 latency monitoring again? Or Would I need a different product?
Also please tell me if I'm wrong here but I would also like to confirm if the Moto m2 is able to properly run something like the 6xx's. Currently a little disappointed with the Fillok11 because even at max volume the headphones don't get anywhere near loud enough.. I saw them recommended on other posts so I'm not sure If this is user error.

Considering we already have 4 maps and only in S2 and there’s likely to be 4 more seasons wouldn’t be surprised if we got 8 maps total which is great! The absolute ideal last map to have a EE, is to do a revelations style map that has parts of every map from bo6, It has everyone wonder weapon from every map and each weapon either has a side quest to get or can only be obtained via the mystery box if it’s located in its area of the map, has all the varieties of the special zombies from each map and the steps to do the ee requires one step from each of the maps, e.g gotta do the LTG devices from liberty, gotta obtain the node connectors from terminus, gotta do the incantations for on citadelle etc. that is a premium ideal finale. In my opinion atleast 😅

I don’t know how to handle the possibility of flying ever again. After what happened, how am I supposed to trust that turbulence won’t take the plane down, or a midair collision won’t happen, or that the plane won’t just fall from the sky on a perfectly clear and sunny day? Even the thought of the plane flying smoothly and quietly is scary enough for me to wonder if I will just fall out of the sky. I don’t want to die, and I feel like if I get on a flight again, I will. My significant other wants to take a trip in May to Hawaii. That idea is terrifying. I don’t know what to do. He even flies on a plane tomorrow and I am freaking out. Any advice? I’m scared.

I’m feeling very frustrated tonight. It’s been a rough few days and I want to preempt this by saying: he’s trying, I’m trying, but neither of us are even close to healthy here.
- He has no comprehension of boundaries. It’s actually fucking mindblowing how much he doesn’t understand his own or anyone else’s boundaries. It’s like unless I say specifically, “I am putting down a boundary on this” (which I should), it genuinely doesn’t register in his head. We’re both autistic, so I’m fairly sure that has a lot to do with it, but I still get so fucking tired of having to explain to him that he is breaking a boundary. What is so confusing about “we don’t have time to talk about this” or “I don’t want solutions right now”??
- He has to fix everything. It’s compulsive and really fucking irritating. I know he’s not even actively trying to fix things, it just pops out of his mouth and he doesn’t stop himself.
- He’s trained himself to entirely stop emoting during stressful situations, to the point where he can’t really control it, because in his head it wasn’t his reactions that were the problem— it was showing them inappropriately. It’s some really layered, fucked up repression of emotions, but it mostly manifests in me showing a lot of emotion and him showing little or none during serious talks. It feels so fucking disconnected and uncomfortable. Again, he is autistic and I know that has a lot to do with it— but he also does show emotions during hard conversations a lot of the time. It is so frustrating to be freaking out and hear the most calm, collected, manager type voice talking back to me.
- Being tired is immediately an excuse to slip on behavior or just plain not be healthy and I’m really over it. Yes, if you’ve been awake for 16 hours and worked on your feet for 10 of it, I will 100% understand being too tired to help with an issue. It’s the lack of trying that really gets me, and he never notices until it’s too late.
He apologized a lot. It was ten minutes before his shift after we’d both been working for 7 hours that day on another job. I was very mean and impatient with him and I know it. I feel very guilty about all of it, but I also can’t shake the righteous, “You did this to me” anger.
