 | Just sold my house and the buyer didn't want any of the network gear. Or the home automaton controller. Every room has two drops and 3 APs including 1 outside and a slate of wired cameras. I am stunned and saddened a bit. Buyers said remove all of it and patch the holes. Here's the discussion. Do I cut the wires short and stuff them in the walls or try to pack it all in? I had two ISPs Cox and Welink feeds are bundled with the wires they wanted removed. Do I leave those exposed? My wife and I are expecting our first child and are wondering how to organize language learning for our child. The situation is as follows: We live in Hong Kong, so the community language is Cantonese (and, to a certain extent, English). My native language is German and I also speak English of course. My wife speaks Cantonese (native), Mandarin and English. We speak English with each other.
The plan so far is that I speak German and my wife Cantonese with our child. However, good English is important for us and so we are thinking of how to make sure that our child also learns English from an early age. In fact, I had originally thought that instead of German I might speak English to our child (given that I have lived outside of Germany for more than twenty years now, it would actually come more naturally to me in many ways). However, we decided that ideally we want our child to grow up with three languages, i.e. German, Cantonese and English. I should probably add that while there are international schools that teach in English in HK of course, we plan to send our child to local schools (in good part to ensure good Cantonese/Mandarin skills). So it is doubly important to us to make sure that our kid's English is good.
My thinking now is that I might alternate between German and English. I have read online that it might make sense to assign a particular space to a particular language. But I am not quite sure how that would work exactly. So I would be grateful for any advice as to how to ensure that besides German and Cantonese, our child also grows up with good English.

 | 4.5m spotlight kills in ~8 days 4.5/8 = 0.5625 0.5625 * 9 = 5.0625m kills I should barely complete this spotlight mission before it ends, it popped up on the 9th days remaining of the event. I have 2 beams * 37º = 74º total SL coverage. If the event popped up on the 7th day, it would've been impossible to complete with my SL coverage. If it popped up earlier on like 11 days left on the mission, I would've completed it easier. …a theory is starting to form in my mind that Thomas is actually trapped in Fromville (in an alternative timeline) all by himself. The idea hit me when Tabitha was telling Jim about reincarnation (Miranda and Christopher). Back in 1506, the original ritual with the children likely took place, and (Jade + Tabitha) might not have been about to sacrifice their child. Since then, everyone involved has been stuck in the loop.
It sounds crazy (though, according to Jade, anything is possible), but what if Fromville actually took Thomas? What if the evil entity killed Thomas and transported him to Fromville? We don’t know the exact reason yet, but it could be as revenge or as a replacement for the original child.
I’m convinced that the phone calls and the radio message from Thomas were real, and that he might actually be the savior figure from the Book of Chromonockle. This would mean that Thomas holds crucial clues for Ethan. And now that Jim is dead but his energy (according to Jade) remains in Fromville, Jim will find his son Thomas. I believe this will happen in the lighthouse in the mirrored world (where Jim is seen hanging upside down in the lighthouse ceiling).
