2024.11.24 22:39 zauraz [s2 act 3 spoilers] General Thoughts on the Ending
I think a lot of this has been repeated into oblivion already.
Overall I loved the show, great animation, music in universe was good (never was a fan of the real world music) and the general plot points and ideas where good.
But fuck if this show didn't need one more season.
Especially the last arc just felt like they where jumping from plot point to plot point. I wish we had more "filler scenes" just to give more of a feel of the world actually existing and give more breathing room to things.
Honestly the repeated way characters were discarded for plot reason where you don't care about them was kinda... bleh?
And honestly the character that was utterly mishandled was Maddie. I don't consider her betrayal bad but there was barely any set up. We did not really get to know her.. and if anything she only existed so Caitlyn could use her and then discard her for Vi. Like the optics are kinda bad, young, easily influenced cadet you get into bed only then to throw out and it's framed as if Vi is the only one that matters. Like she doesn't care so its okay.
In general Caitlyn's sins are not explored at all. Gas weaponry, apartheid...
Similarily Zaun felt entirely forgotten for the entire season. The end of season 1 gave the vibe they where setting up for war as Jinxs missile ruined any chance of peace.
Jinx never really was a revolutionary like the intro hinted.
The sex scene was incredibly poorly placed.. and just. I wish the show had more time, that it could actually breathe?
Because it really was great, it still mostly is but it could have been better.. so much better. And that is what disappoints me the most.

Youtube has a program by Crime Junkie on the case - over 3 hours. I am well into it now and think it is very good. She also has a separate taped interview with John that shows a very healthy and strong father whokeeps trying to get LE to do their jobs to solve this. I recommend both.
I am also looking forward to the Netflix special that will start tomorrow night. I hope it opens the eyes of many who followed BORG like sheep with no willingness to look at the evidence as opposed to just watching BORG leaders.
My thanks for both projects.
More to the point, I want to thank those who are doing more than just talking about this. My gratitude goes to those who refused to question and then ignore the media war against the family. More than that, my respect goes to those who endlessly work to get this solved. Actions speak more than words. They know who they are, don't demand or look for credit, they just continue to care and work to see this solved.

so im looking at am4 mobos and i wanted to get an a520m but heard its shit then decided to go for a msi b450 but the listing says it uses pcie 3 and i dont wanna pay more(its for a flip) when i can get a320m which also has pcie 3 but i checked online and some people were sayng b450 has pcie 4 support so now im real confused

I currently have a G910 and love that I can create macros directly on the keyboard without needing to use GHub. I see the G915 (wired, non X) has the M1-3 and MR buttons. On the 915 X, these are replaced by G6-9 keys.
While I would ideally also have those macro keys, like my existing G910, does that remove the ability for quick macro creation?
