I have no experience with guns, and have ever been put in a position where I would need to use one, so my question is strictly out of curiosity.
Since our country is so divided on gun laws and safety, would it make sense to change the type of ammunition that is legal? Maybe only allow non-lethal rounds like rubber bullets. Kind of like a middle ground between the two stances.
On one hand, people would still be able to own a gun to protect themselves, but the ammunition would be non-lethal. From my understanding, rubber bullets would still put someone or something down but may not kill them. It's still possible to kill someone or something, just less likely.
And on the other hand, since it's non-lethal ammunition, it would be safer.
Is that a stupid question? I honestly think this would be a decent idea to look into. Please be nice lol

I’m not typically one who naps, but I’ve had a nap every single day and could probably keep sleeping if I didn’t have stuff to do.
