Hey everyone. We've got a spot open for the Raiders in the MLOA (Madden League of Adults). They are currently near the end of a rough season at 4-12, but the draft is coming up and they will either have the 5th or 6th pick. We are in season 2, but using the 2025 draft class, so it is pretty stacked. Gameplay is sim-style.
The league has been running for over 5 years now, and we plan to go 5+ seasons with the league, so it will go long-term.

my fsm state diagram for jr. First two states are the same for all instructions.
For reference
I been trying to understand how multi-cycles work and I was told creating finite state machine digrams would be the best way to check your understanding. I been struggling with one particular instruction--jr or jump register which is actually an r type instruction but act as a jump. I drew a quick FSM below to illustrate what I think is happening but not entirely sure if im using all the correct singals or if im overthinking this and forgetting to add details like a mux.
Anyone have any thoughts or insight into my drawing? What am i doing wrong and what can i add or delete?

The odd-numbered ward alderpeople are up for re-election this spring, along with the Mayor and Comptroller. Back in 2023, they all ran for two-year terms because of the ward reduction, while even-numbered wards got four-year terms. This setup was meant to get the election schedule back on track.
Quick Breakdown of the Wards:
Ward 1: Anne Schweitzer Anne Schweitzer had a closer-than-expected race in 2023, winning 52-47.5% against Tony Kirchner. It’s not clear if Kirchner will run again, but I Schweitzer is likely to win more comfortably this time around. She’s practical and focused on infrastructure, water systems, and raising city employee wages. I see her as center-left.
Ward 3: Shane Cohn Shane Cohn hasn’t had an opponent since 2009, but it wouldn’t be surprising if someone steps up this time. Even if they do, Cohn should have no problem holding onto his seat. I see him as center-left.
Ward 5: Joe Vollmer Joe Vollmer, one the longest serving members of the Board, won 57-41% last time. He’s likely to run again and probably won’t have as much trouble this time. Vollmer leans more toward the center.
Ward 7: Alisha Sonnier Alisha Sonnier won 60-39% in 2023, but her first term hasn’t been smooth. She’s had some bad press regarding some bills and a tough loss on a major bill that ended up watered down before it passed. A group like Greater St. Louis (GSL) could look for someone to challenge her. Sonnier sits further on the left politically.
Ward 9: Michael Browning Michael Browning easily defeated an incumbent in 2023 and is in a good spot to win again if he’s challenged. He had GSL’s backing in 2023 and expected again. I see him as left of center.
Ward 11: Laura Keys Laura Keys had an easy win last time, thanks to GSL’s support. She’s likely to get their backing again unless a strong challenger pops up. Keys is probably the most conservative democrat of the current Board members.
Ward 13: Pam Boyd Pam Boyd had a pretty close race against Norma Walker in 2023. She’s a bit more progressive than Keys and will likely have GSL’s support.
What’s Next?
It’s kind of surprising that, with Thanksgiving here, no serious challengers have announced yet for any of these seats. With the bigger ward sizes now, any candidate would probably need to raise at least $100,000 by the end of January to have a real shot. For now, it looks like the incumbents are in a pretty solid position.

I am a visual artist, very interested rocks and minerals. Lately I have been experimenting with ways of scanning or photographing rocks I find.
Some turn out interesting but still lack dimensionality. I saw recently some amazing 3-d scans of rocks on a virtual gallery and i got hooked on making something similar.
Is there any way I could produce a 3-d scan or a light map of a rock without insanely expensive gear?
