My (33F) husband (32M) and I decided to celebrate his birthday a day in advance. I didn't plan any big surprises because he's someone who doesn't really care for them and just thinks of birthdays as a normal day. So, we woke up, and I suggested we go for Omakase, which he was happy with.
But then, on the way to the restaurant, he casually mentioned that he'd be meeting one of his work colleagues after lunch. Apparently, the colleague wanted to treat him to a birthday meal, and it was a last-minute thing. So, after our meal, my husband went off to meet this colleague, and we only spent about 4 hours together that day.
I guess I'm feeling hurt because I thought we'd spend more of his special day together, especially since we were celebrating a day early. He knew about the colleague's offer, but I didn't expect him to prioritize it over spending time with me. I tried not to make a big deal of it, but now I'm feeling a bit upset.
AITA for being upset about this? I just feel a little left out on his birthday. We had a huge fight over this.

Today is my parents's 34th wedding anniversary. My dad is from Poland, my mom is from Japan - they met when they came to the US at English-speaking classes. And they got married when they both became US citizens. They moved to California got married and had me and my sister. Even though being mixed is not easy, my parents were always super supportive (the only time I had issues with my mom is when I came out as a lesbian and unlike my dad who supported me from the beginning, my mom wasn't very keen on my sexuality AND she wasn't also please that my current partner is a Chinese-American woman but in both cases she eventually came around).

All I can remember is you are in a hunting tournament and you go to different places in the US to hunt. And after each place someone drops from the competition due to being hurt. The first guy to leave fell out of his stand and you have to shoot wild boars before they get to him. It was a linear story and one of the pop up missions was to shoot a certain number of big horn sheep as they ran by.

So I just found my old iPhone 12 in a drawer. I charged it and turned it on and updated it to the newest IOS. I also currently use an iPhone 14 that is freshly updated. I want to use my 12 for some things. But I’ve noticed when I get and receive texts on my 14. They aren’t coming across on my 12. I’ve checked all the settings what am I missing? And fyi the 12 is just using wifi as it has no cellular data now. But it’s on the same WiFi as my 14

Title. To elaboratre I mean theres a strange scaling between some characters in the game I dont fully understand and just seems like odd design to me? A good example is war priest compared to a martial with generic proficiency scaling, say a strength based ranger. At level 1 both the war priest and ranger have trained proficency in their respective weapons, so no difference there. At this level the most the warpriest could have in strength is +3, while the ranger should be rocking a +4. So this puts our war priest at -1 compared to the ranger which makes sense, they trade martial potency for spellcasting. Then level 5 rolls around and the ranger gets a partial boost to strength, leaving them at +4, while the warpriest gets a normal boost, bringing them to +4 as well. That gap closes, and a new one opens as the Ranger increases to Expert in their weapons while the war priest stays at trained. Weird, the gap gets bigger, but still the same idea; trading in martial potency for spellcasting potential. Then we get to level 7, and the war priest gets improved to expert in the respective weapon, placing them (proficiency wise) at the same level as the ranger? Why? They wont be as good as the ranger at hitting stuff, since the ranger has other features that make them better at being a martial in other respects like their hunters edge, and striking centric feat selection, but why is the gap in proficiency changing? Then Level 10 rolls around and the Ranger increases their strength to +5 thanks to their previous partial boost and the cleric only gets a partial boost, so we have returned to the Ranger having a +1 bonus over the cleric. This seems really odd, how the gap in their profiency is yo-yoing between non-existent and pretty damn significant. I havent had experience of this since I havent played in a campaign where its been relevant, but the main concern would be that the inconsistent scaling makes characters feel different relative to each other depending on what level they’re at. You might start with the class premise of being a less competent martial at lower levels compared to your allies BUT with magic to back, but then, by level 7, you’re suddenly on par with them proficiency wise, only for that balance to be disrupted again by the next few levels. This inconsistency can be jarring and might slightly undermine the intended class fantasy/premise or the feeling of progression, as characters who should feel stronger or weaker relative to each other can have their roles shift throughout the campaign. However I know this isnt completely the case because theres a lot more as a stated earlier to being good at striking than just your bonus to hit, though it is very important, It just seems confusing to me that the gap between them changes?
If it were to be fixed in a potential Pathfinder 3e/2.5e (since its way too late to be changing the fundemantals of the game) then you could make it so theres now 6 ranks of proficiency: Untrained, Trained, Adept, Expert, Master and Legendary. Each could work like this:

You could also remove the 'partial ability boost' rule and just have it be a simple 'each boost increase your ability modifer by +1' and factor this altered progression into the balance of the scaling math with Enemy AC and Attack modifiers and whatnot.
With these two changes the designer could intentionally decide what gap they want between different characters and have that gap stay consistent throughout all levels.
If they want a +1 difference between the Warpriest and Ranger then they could both start at level 1 at adept proficiency in their respective weapons.
If they want a +2 difference between the Warpriest and Ranger then they could both start at level 1 with +4 in strength (maybe allowing the warpriest to get an extra boost/boost strength twice during their final boost selection, or let them select it as their key attribute like rogues?) and have the Cleric start at trained while the ranger starts at adept/
If they want a +3 difference between the Warpriest and Ranger then they could have the cleric start with a maximum of +3 strength and the ranger with +4, and have the cleric start at trained while the ranger starts at adept.
So what does everyone think of this quirk of Pf2e? Is it a flaw, or a non-issue in your opinion? Does it have any effect on the feel of classes in practice? What do you think of my proposed solution? I would be very interested in everyones thoughts.
