 | Hoje fui aproveitar as promoções de fim de ano na Xbox store e adquiri algumas expansões do Destiny 2. Ao verificar o tamanho do jogo em disco, tive um susto ao ver que o mesmo ocupava quase metade do armazenamento do meu Series S. 2024.11.25 02:04 burghermeister62 Returning to Piano at 62: Where to Start?
My background: My mother was a piano teacher and taught me as a child. Around age 10, I got the “If you’re not going to practice, I’m not going to teach you” speech. I stopped practicing, and she stopped teaching. At the same time, I played violin quite well for my age and sang in multiple choirs throughout high school, college, and as an adult. I still sing in my church choir.
So, I can read music well, know some theory, and can plunk things out—though slowly and with plenty of errors. I’d like to start playing piano again after all these years. I have no specific aspirations other than to enjoy a new hobby as I head toward retirement. What would you recommend for someone like me? Are there any beginner-friendly etudes or other pieces you’d suggest? Bonus points if they’re free and iPad-friendly.

2024.11.25 02:04 CobyDaGrunt I need to enroll in only one class for an entire semester. How much would it cost?
As the title says, due to some personal issues at home I was unable to finish the requirements of my last class before the INC deadline (already asked for extension and was denied) and will most likely need to enroll in the class next semester. The issue is that it's my only class for thesis, so I don't even need to go on campus and use any of the schools resources. Since its 3 units, is that all I have to pay for? Or will I need to pay for the additional and miscellaneous fees despite not needing to go on campus until my defense? Would anyone know by any chance how much I'd need to pay?

I have taken the 40hr training through APF and they never delivered my certificate. Therefore, I do not want to take it through their organization again.
I started Kadiant’s. However, their training is long and time-consuming as it requires you to pass EVERY quiz with a 100% prior to moving along. This for sure will extend the training beyond 40hrs if constantly having to retake the quiz. So if anyone has any recommendations on interactive trainings that are engaging and allow you to test normally with a pass rate of 80%, do tell.

I work for myself from home, so I've got all the time in the world. If you're a needy fucker, I'm usually available 18 hours a day (kind of prefer friends who chat their asses off, honestly). I like putting all my eggs in only a basket or two at a time rather than having a bunch of friends I hardly ever talk to (already have plenty of those), so full-time friends are preferable over those who just want to small talk every now and then.
As I said, I'm pretty old school, but I'm also a nerd. Chain smoking and drinking while fishing is my ideal morning. Chain smoking and drinking while watching some anime or reading a fantasy novel is my ideal night.

I'm going through a tough time again in my relationship. I am a 48 female. My husband (55) just retired and moved to another state. We bought a house together in that other state, and we were hoping I'd get a job to be reunited with him, but it's been a year, and I could not get a job over there (it is hard to get any without knowing anyone there). I am still working in the state where we used to live together or before he retired, and I wish I could get a job where he lives. I'm having trouble because it was my idea of him moving first to the other state and then reuniting with him, but the last two or three months have been hard without him. Thus, I asked him to come back to live with me in the same state. I apologized to him because it was my idea, which was a bad one, at least for me. He did not like the idea of going back. He told me he had already made his medical appointments over there, and I had been very argumentative since I felt alone. I asked him to come and visit me and, from here, go together for Thanksgiving to visit friends and family in the other state. He came and visited me, and we had a big fight over money. I got upset, and I asked him to leave in the heat of the argument (I did not mean it). We have been together for almost 20 years, and this is the first time he left. Before, if we argued, he would allow me to think about it, let me cool down, and we talked and worked things out. I know I shouldn't say what I said, and I apologized to him, but it was really hurtful to see him leaving for the first time. I called him eight times, but he did not pick up or answer my text message where I apologized. A friend of ours reached out to him and confirmed he was okay. I was worried. I'm still crying. I do not know what to do. Separate since I feel like this marriage probably was broken before, and him moving to another state just showed me he is a different person, and I'm the only one who maybe wants to be part of something I'm probably not part of anymore. Totally broken. Advice
