Relatively new to heresy here.
I'm asking mostly because I'm confused as to why GW hasn't released a plastic upgrade sprue to turn the current plastic mk.iii marines into breachers. Are there a bunch of extra tubes and armor plates or something that breachers need over regular mk.iii?

The recent Jake Paul v Mike Tyson got me thinking how much of him CURRENTLY fighting in Thai Fights essentially every other weekend is the sparring legend of his youth with Somrak Kamsing, and how much is specialty match ups and through… “arranged fights”. He’s a 40+ year old fighting 20/30 yo on a weekly/monthly basis. It’s slightly absurd considering he has a 61 fight win streak lmao (That’s 10+ more than mayweather’s total fight record)

 | The orthopedic surgeon recommends getting T3 to L4 fused, because there are smaller curves in the thoracic region that need to be fixed. It squiggles all the way up. I didn’t know it did that; was only aware of The Big Curve which is 57 degrees. That seems like a big fusion… but it hurts all the time, from the bottom up to my neck. Not to mention, I really I hate the asymmetry. It causes me so much mental anguish so I don’t really care if I have to walk like the tin man. As long as I can stand up straight. When I asked how much taller I’ll be, I was told “Oh… at least an inch.” I don’t really know how to interpret that… And as a bonus fact: I guess I have a mutation where I have an L6? Apparently most people have five lumbar vertebrae. I was told it’s not really a problem, and just means I’m a little taller than I would be otherwise. Not really looking for specific advice, but I’d be curious to know if any of you guys have a similar curve or fusion. Posting this mostly so I can do a follow up post in a couple months. I lost my career to both epilepsy and FND the seizures took away my career working in the aviation industry. I was working my way up in management on the ramp working for Delta Airlines. The seizures made it impossible to work safely. I have tried to get back into the ramp industry 3 Years later but it was hard to get back into the industry. I’m having a great deal of trouble finding a a new career with FND. I have been thinking about coaching. I really don’t want to stay on disability for the rest of my life because it pays so very little. I’m feeling very lost in the desert right now and it’s causing quite a lot of depression. Having lost a career that I had been working in and building my way up in for 12 years and now all that hard work, long hours, overtime, and, working my way up were for nothing.

2024.11.25 04:50 Frosty-Ad8676 No Glory at the End? So disappointed in how this ended.
I realize that my expectations of Marvel should have been lower. I absolutely loved a lot of the Infinity Saga shows and movies. But I have not been as enthused with the newer material.
A lot of my frustrations the finale and the second half of the show in general began with the treatment of Wanda’s character in Multiverse of Madness. They took a page out of the Game of Thrones series playlist and reduced a powerful, interesting and complex female character, that the audience had gotten to know over a long period into a crazy b*tch and then killed her. Which was heartbreaking after the near perfect execution of Wandavision.
Agatha has always been a mystery. And Kathryn Hahn plays her to perfection. She is this campy, comedic villain straight out of a broadway musical but with these flashes of deep and often painful humanity. She behaves terribly, but leaves us with a sense that she may have good intentions mixed with a lot of regret.
The first few episodes of this series were amazing. Dark, funny, cheesy, and serious. The fight scene between her and Rio was both wildly entertaining, funny and even poignant. But the one that struck me the most was the scene in the morgue where she rips off all over her former identities in order to find herself. As a woman in her 40’s I felt that to my core.
That along with our introductions to the rest of the coven seemed to set up the questions that needed to be answered and the potential for how we would continue to peel back all the layers of who she is. Namely Why does she kill other witches? What began her romance with Rio/Death? What happened to her son? And will she finally find a way to connect with her coven/other witches? And what will that change in her?
Before I finish I do want to say that I didn’t hate the Teen/William/Billy character. And Joe Locke did a brilliant job. However the way that his story overtook hers, and left so many unanswered questions was incredibly frustrating.
In the two part finale we are gifted with the chance to see Agatha as what feels like her truest, unaffected self. Again, Kathryn Hahn did an amazing job at moving between the observed, performative Agatha, and the scared, loving, desperate and grieving Agatha that exists only when she is alone or with her son. And we do finally learn what happened to Nicholas.
Unfortunately that seems to be the only resolutions or answers we will get. It’s never explained why she kills witches, especially when we know she can just take a “sip” (or gulp) of power from them. We never get answers about why she began a romance with death. We don’t even get to see her actual origins. And based on her words to Billy, we never get to see her evolve to a point where she seems to care about anyone, other than him.
And while leaving all of those things up in the air is bad enough, we learn that the road was never real, it wasn’t even a spell cast out of the storm of grief Agatha experienced. In fact, we watch her transition extremely fast between a mother destroyed with sadness and a con. A con that was only manifested when…well, a dude (a wonderful, young queer dude but a dude nonetheless) made it into a reality.
And suddenly we realize that this was not a story about Agatha. At least not the full story. This was the introduction of a new (male) character. And Agatha, with all her complexities is suddenly a snarky, ghostly side kick for a young man beginning a quest.
It bears repeating that I really like Billy. And his search for his brother, putting together the young Marvels, and attempts to bring his mother back have some possibility. But I don’t understand why telling his story requires the narrative treatment suffered by both Wanda and now Agatha. It was entirely possible to both resolve her, and even Wanda and still introduce the new powered up Billy.
