2024.11.25 13:50 DrunkFox2 About bugged On the Edge quest
So i think I found out, what causing On the Edge problems, or at least problems for some:
Many people find NPC stucked in building without ability to get to them. That is propably caused by emission, forcing npc in but not letting them out, but there are ways how to get in by console, or by waiting long enough (about an 30 minutes to 1 hour) before NPCs need to respawn, or glitching through the doors, opening them.
But even after doing this quest, getting achievment of finishing it, There is another wave of enemies, and after killing them, you get message about saving the village, but after getting far, you will get message about village being dead, and coming back the village is dead.
The problem is, that the "second" enemy wave, shouldn!t happen. It actually is "first" wave at start of the quest, but as you didnt done it because bug at first, game starts the quest again. But as you already did all things after, you cannot progress this quest again, therefore the quest will both succeed and fail, but fail is latter, therefore "ingame real outcome"
I believe the way how to fix it, is simply not letting the quest starts anew, but as of now, I didnt found a way to do it. Running away is not enough, and there is no fast travel option. If you will find a way how to do it, please let me know. As many other people, i do not want to progress with my favourite location being wiped out.

This isn't gonna be a well written rant but I feel like it needs to be made, American politics are the worst thing to be interested in and unfortunately have wasted way to much time on. The first obvious thing that is wrong with them is the sudden division that has happened end in politics, like could you imagine for a second of a president that could apeal to both sides. I've recently saw Ronald Reagan's speech about the challenger, and while their are a lot of reasons to hate the dude, at the end of the day I believe that he wanted what was right for everyone, I believe that if we had presidents like truman, jfk, obama, and even reagan, I wouldn't be so sucked into politics because they aren't so extreme, I feel like they want what is best for everyone even if they didn't always convey this properly. Now I don't like all that these presidents have done, but at the end of the day, they were leaders, and a lot less contreversial than whatever the hell we have today. Today everything is so extreme, don't get me wrong I would much rather have a competent woman in office than a phsyco in office but now a days everyone is so far pushed into one political side it's essentially voting for someone's party above voting for the best candidate. I feel like everything, even liberal opinions that I largely agree with, is pushed into an extreme instead of trying to find common ground within both parties, isn't voting about the right people died for? cause to me it feels like people are dying in order to further divide our country, and I want to believe that it wasn't this way before the trump administration.
That's the other thing, political adicts are complete worshipers of a certain candidate, like I'm sure you're well aware about youtube comment sections with anything related to trump agreeing with everything he says like he's their cult leader, like I don't say that in a buzz word kind of way, if you can't accept that Donald Trump makes mistakes, than you are likely in a cult worshiping him, because every single maga thinks every decision made by trump is perfect, no matter what. This I believe also applies to liberals in a different way, now I'm a liberal but I also feel like I'm a lot less like some of the more extreme liberals on this platform. This is a flawed political belief system, for instance, I don't think that we've made the right decision on who should be president since obama was chosen, I don't think clinton was the right choice, after 4 years of biden I don't think he was the right choice, and I don't think kamala was the right choice either. At the end of the day, the fact that you can't find a candidate that can convince enough people to not vote for a convicted felon, than it's on you, you should be able to beat an 0 and 16 football team no matter how bad you are, and yet you still lost, that's really sad to me.
Anyways their really isn't a point to this rant aside from the fact that politics suck, like they are a long rabithole that isn't based upon facts and instead based upon previous beliefs, and this is a really crappy rant about it that doesn't show just how bad it is.

2024.11.25 13:50 Tilbrup Lightroom workflow : RAW + jpgs (I'm so lost after using it for more than 10 yrs )
Hello, after a few years of practice, I’m starting to question the way I work with Lightroom. In general, I try to limit my post-processing as much as possible since I don’t particularly enjoy it and prefer focusing on taking photos.
Here’s my issue: I shoot in both JPEG and RAW. I’m struggling to figure out how to organize my backups. Up until now, I’ve been keeping my JPEGs straight out of the camera (SOOC) and my RAW files in two separate folders. I would then import the RAWs into Lightroom and edit them if needed. However, I feel like this creates redundancy when exporting edited JPEGs because I end up with two sets of JPEGs: the SOOC ones and the edited ones.
In short, I’m a bit lost and looking to start fresh with a better workflow. What’s your process? Thanks!

This is an update on my last post.
Thanks for all the advice on how to tell the Barber what haircut I want. I got it done last week. I used a picture of what I wanted. My mom also told the barber that I have autism and the barber only used Scissors to cut my hair except for at the very end, which was good because I don't like clippers. Overall it went well.

2024.11.25 13:50 ahliahlaurenn what to do about an ex/best friend that is planning on asking me out again even though i’ve said i don’t want to be in a relationship?
okay so me and a best friend of mine dated at the start of the year but it didn’t work bcs as soon as we got together i realised how romantically incompatible we are despite being really close friends.
fast forward to now and despite him swearing up and down that he’s not into me he continues to throw signals at me that he wants something more again. he keeps asking me for horrifically specific dating advice despite saying it’s not about me even though he literally does not speak to any other women (no exaggeration), he’s constantly trying to cuddle with me under the label of it being platonic and a hug (even though it’s literally cuddling), he tries to do it any time we sit next to each other even when it’s inconvenient to do so (like on the bus) and granted i do let him but it honestly makes me uncomfortable bcs i know for a fact it’s definitely not coming from a platonic place at all.
he’s always bringing up relationships and how he’s just “waiting for the right moment” and so many other things about his ideal relationship dynamic and every time he says stuff like this i tell him that relationships aren’t a priority for me and i don’t want to be in one right now but i don’t know why from what he’s told me it seems like he thinks i mean i just don’t want one right this moment? like no means no ykwim?
but where the issue gets more complicated is that i like him too and he may have picked up on that but i also recognise that not only is he not fully my type but also he misses some key boxes that i would need in a partner, the biggest one being that he sees relationships as his missing piece despite my best efforts to encourage him to actually heal from his past trauma instead of trying to fill it with a girlfriend.
from what he’s told me he’s planning to ask me on a date soon and i’m dreading it because he’s quite a sensitive guy, he’s hyped it up a lot in his head and i really don’t want to hurt his feelings but i’m nervous to bring it up because i feel like he’ll just deny that he’s been talking about me even though it couldn’t be more obvious if he tried. also something to mention is that i’m autistic so i think that despite me trying to be clear on the fact that asking me on a date would be a bad idea i have definitely dealt with this wrong and sent him some signals that feed into his plausible deniability.
so sorry that this is long but it’s so complicated and i really didn’t know how to shorten it, any help would be appreciated 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
