Alright, I messed up. I was stripping paint from what I thought were solid brass hinges but they're really plated copper and now the finish is gone. What are my options here: can I replace the hinges by using the 'hit them with a torch and then rub a brass brush on it' technique, another approach, or did I ruin the hardware and need to accept that the hinges are now copper?

I recently started ice tie dying and can see it becoming a new obsession 😅.
I have lots of powder pigments for painting and making watercolors.
Does anyone make their own dye? I tried researching but I haven't had luck on find a binder (powder) recipe. I don't mind getting pre mixed fabric dyes, but since I have these pigments (some are natural some synthetic) i thought be neat make some of my own.

hi,so when I was a kid I met a guy on set and he was playing my brother (I’m not on actress I have just this one products) it’s was low budget short movie.so it was 3 years ago and I was 11 and this guy was 23.i saw this guy in television almost last year and remembered him and since then I can’t let go off him.i stalked through all his social media (he’s really popular now) and I have some pictures from set but not directly with him.i feel so nostalgic and sad and I hate myself for living in the past.i keep thinking about every detail about him,everything he said to me and so on.we were filming for two days.please someone help,because I’ve been thinking about this guy since February and I can’t let go.(sorry English is not my first language)
