As the title suggests, I was mulling over different saddle hunting options and finally decided to bite the bullet and bought a set of carbon ss sticks with a grizzly profile saddle, with Black Friday deals the price was the same for that setup as it was for a set of hawk sticks with an xop platform with shipping. Looking forward to trying it out after ground hunting most of the season and hunting out of a ladder. Anyone have any suggestions of things I should add or any tips with that setup?

2024.11.25 13:13 SenkoBreadalt So I've seen an argument resurging back against Bendy Vs Cuphead and I really wanted to share my thoughts on it (spoilers I don't have very good things to say about this argument)
So for context MORO confirmed he picked another fight to fully animate and some people have said it might be Bendy Vs Cuphead since he's animated both characters before. Because of that some people have said this shouldn't happen because "The DBX was already perfect and there's nothing they could add to it" and if I'm being honest, I think this is a really dumb argument.
First of all, it was a DBX so the most obvious thing a full episode could add is analyses. Now I know that not everyone cares for analyses but some people, including me, really do so that's a pretty obvious thing to add.
Second of all, Neither of them really used that much in the actual fight. Cuphead used a few of his Inkwell Isle 1 abilities and that's about it while Bendy used pretty generic attacks. Not only could both use way more things that were left out in the fight but they also got new content since. Bendy's gotten new games since and Cuphead got the DLC and the show, the latter of which also gave him a personality which would be great to see in the fight.
I could add more like the fact we could get a longer fight or a custom track but you get the idea by now. This is meant to show that yes, there's a lot more you could do with an actual episode. Also if you still don't want the matchup for other reasons that's fine. This post was mainly made to debunk one specific argument that I really don't wanna see emerge again.

I have no idea where to even start with home automation!
I have a couple of older ecovac robot vacuum cleaners, some merross smart switches and a xiamoi air purifier.
I would like to add a room monitoring / humidity sensor, it suggests using tuya zigbee.
However I really dont want ANOTHER application to deal with a single thing, and if possible would like to get the existing devices OFF of the companys cloud required things so I can control from a local hub and not have to expose them directly to the internet to work.
So basically...... If you were starting from zero what hardware would you suggest for a unified experience that is user friendly? With the possibility to add other devices down the road.
Budget is ~$400 AUD to accomplish this, i already have a home server I can spin up a HA instance on so it would just be the hub / zigbee / zwave thing or whatever it is that makes all the stuff work I guess????
