Hello Plumbing community - we're in the middle of a kitchen renovation and wanted to upgrade our garbage disposal to a more powerful model than what we've had in the past. Before anyone asks - we cook a lot. And, haven't been able to process things like small bones, potato or citrus skins & coffee grounds - so felt like a more powerful motor would handle these items.
Shopping around, there's a Costco club unit that looks somewhat comparable to the models that are available at Lowes, though the model names (Ultimate) don't quite line up. Are there any functional or material differences that would lead me away from a Costco club model - like lacking stainless steel internal parts?
Cost-wise, they seem comparable - with the Costco unit including the power cord. I also assume both are compatible with an air switch, though it's not called out anywhere.

Long story short after I called the landlord and asked them to repair the windows and and clean up the balcony is promised 2 years ago, they said explicitly that they want to kick me out of my apartment, repair it with my deposit money and bring a new tenant that pays more rent. After saying that it's not my fault their reply was "yeah don't know how to use windows (those are 40+ years old windows) and you broke them and the balcony you have to do it even though it's not your fault, now get out" and i can't record the phone call since it's illegal in Germany where i live. Do you have any advice for revenge?

Hello everyone !! I [26 M]am currently working a remote job as an analyst and am researching cities I may want to live in once I am back in the U.S beginning March of next year. I lived in New Jersey for 8 years throughout college - a lot of Indian grocery stores, some greenery, access to my relatives, with access to a ton of AMCs (yup) and New York. I have a habit of doing deep dives to the point of researching numerous places and then just getting confused. I want a city that is decently walkable, has reliable public transport, btw I am not opposed to getting a car. I love nature, so some greenery in or even around the city would be great.
A local culture of theatres, restaurants and comedy clubs would be nice. Even if they aren't in that particular city and are in a neighboring one, I am happy to live there. I realized that having access to an international airport is important because my family or I may want to visit each other, but again if it is even an hour or so away I don't mind. Recommendations and perspectives on living in more well known cities like Seattle, Chicago or San Francisco will be appreciated. At the same time, if anyone has experience living in cities like Cary, Asheville NC or Ardmore, PA or Virginia Beach or even Tulsa, OK ( I am looking at that 10K offered to aspiring remote workers, haha ).
I am thinking of keeping my rent budget between 1000 -1400 per month shared or ideally, in a private accommodation. I want to read people's experiences and suggestions. I have the freedom to be a remote worker and consider cities I could hopefully call my another home. Please help me decide, thanks all !

For example, say I update my account values in October.
Will my "estimated taxes" information be based on October account values + rate of return applied for Oct/Nov/December?
Is this documented in detail anywhere?
I have seen one response from Boldin that says "When you enter or update the account balance in the current month, we use/reset that as the January balance".
That would seem to produce a wrong outcome for the end of the year?
