Hoping to make a new friend on this fine day? Well, here I am!
Like a lot of others, I am married with kids, and it isn’t quite all hunky-dory… I work from home (for years, well before the pandemic) and I am not always busy. That leaves a lot of time for me to be stuck in my own head, so I am looking for a friend who can provide a long-term distraction, both during and outside of work hours. I am not really looking to rant. I prefer chatting with someone creative, as maybe that will jumpstart a part of me that I feel I have lost.
About me… I like exercise, long walks, food, TV, movies, and baseball on a nice day. I love basketball and have season tickets to the local pro team (even though that causes me loads of heartache). I am often too sarcastic for my own good.

Come home from work on trash day, go to put my cans up and this ba tube thing sticking out. I grab it to shove it back in, and my hand starts stinging immediately. FRP: fiber(glass) reinforced plastic; heavily weathered and the fibers are sticking out like dog hair. Day and half before it stopped irritating me, glass fibers stuck in my palm and fingers. Is this our future, some kind of composite hell where you can't touch anything?

Erika McDaniels skeletal remains were found on top of a building in Brooklyn in late March 2013. There had been a fire at the building in 2012. The suitcase and remains were charred but there is no proof if the building fire was what caused her charring. She was identified by her DNA in 2014.
Erika was a stripper from Kansas. Her last known address was 4 miles from where her body was found. Erika had spent time in prison in Kansas and she was known to have family and associates in the Long Island area.
High ranking investigators said that the particulars of Erika’s death are very similar to Tanya Rush’s death but they have never made any formal connections. One article I read said that investigators tried to reach out to Erika’s family but were unable to find any while another article said that when she was identified, her family had a memorial for her in Kansas but would not reply to questions.
