Hey,
Got a call from +1 (844) 562-4255 and said ROGERS on the caller ID.
I said is this a sales call?, can you beat $35 for 40+ GB
First she said 35 for 100Gb, then later she said unlimited. And she also said another line would be an additional 40, not 35 …
Couldn’t understand all of what she was saying.
Sounds too good to be true. Is it a scam?
Or is Roger’s giving out wicked Black Friday deals?

2024.11.25 16:40 BjornFelle M4 mini upside-down?
Just got a new M4 mini to replace the older intel machine I was using. I'm a musician and will be using this for live performance. The mini will be installed in a flight case and I want to cut a shallow recess for it to sit in. This would obstruct air flow from the vent at the bottom. Is there any reason why I shouldn't use it upside down? I know it's all solid state other than the cooling fan but I'm thinking in terms of heat dissipation or any other reasons why using it this way might be a problem.

Easy no questions asked return policies are creating a return culture that is wasteful and increases prices for everyone. By some estimates 30-40% of clothes purchased online get returned and many of those items end up in a landfill. Many other items cannot be resold and are thrown away or resold on the secondary market for pennies on the dollar. I rarely return purchases. Generally only if the item is defective. But I still have to subsidize the return happy habits of everyone else. People need to think more carefully about purchases and only buy what they actually want. It will result in lower prices for everyone and create less waste.

2024.11.25 16:40 Few_Geologist_8532 Several black dots (not dead pixels) on screen, dent on back and multiple deep scratches that's visible under bright light
I have several black spots on screen that affects reading and using Figma (UI Developer) and it makes it really hard to focus and work sometimes, the dent on the back also presses up against the screen and occasionally the screen looks weird in that particular area. Also, the scratches reflect under bright light and really bothers me. I have apple care + which expires on December 10 and I am worried I might not be able to extend it. I have a visit scheduled with apple tomorrow and I am really anxious and worried that won't accept this as a valid claim to replace my screen. The black dots do look like dead pixels however (they aren't, I believe they were caused after I closed my laptop lid with dust between the keyboard and screen). I am hoping they accept this as a valid reason to replace my screen, has anyone has similar experiences?

I am 2024 ECE graduate planning to secure the good career in Design Verification domain of VLSI. I got the Intern (8 months)+ Performance Based Conversion offer in Design Verification Domain in startups which is located in Bangalore.I joined during my last semester (i.e) December 2023. During my intern period I learnt the Computer Architecture and System Verilog language and UVM. I also gone through AMBA protocols and created the UVM based testbench for those.
Now 11 months of intern period is completed but they not converted me for the Full time and asking me to wait for some months and they said that once I get the project then they convert to Full time role.
Since 3 months extra intern period is so completed so what I can do now whether to stay in the company due to domain satisfaction irrespective of salary or moving out and searching for new jobs ?
Also In case of second option what is the possibility that I get the job based on today's job market condition?
Please guide me so that it would be helpful for my future and I never forget your value advice.Thanks in Advance .
