I have an application running on-prem that needs to access AWS resources. For obvious reasons I don't want to store AWS access key/secret key in plaintext in the ~/.aws/credentials file.
Are there options that allow me to have the application, which runs under an AD user account, authenticate to AWS so that it can be assigned IAM permissions?
I'm looking into IAM Roles Anywhere but am curious to know if other off the shelf solutions exist.

 | I used this laptop to create Bjorn on my home network. Now on a different network but the same laptop, I cannot gain access via the WebUI or SSH. I followed Infinitions instructions during creation and it worked as I was able to scan my home network. During initial install I enabled SSH and added my home network through RPi Imager. I then installed with the automatic installer option. After the USB/RNDIS device was detected I set manually the IPv4 config as seen in the picture. Tested WebUI and SSH on home network and was successful. Now at a second location on a different but authorized network I am stuck. The RNDIS device loads and shows correct IPv4 settings and Bjorn loads up on the e-paper but cannot connect SSH (via MobaXterm) or webUI (via Edge). Both programs confirmed to work on my home network with Bjorn. Any ideas on why this might be would be helpful. Hello!
I’m a student from Belgium & I’m about to submit a Erasmus application. I’m doubting whether to put Kaunas or Riga as my first choice. Could someone shed some light on the key (cultural) differences between both countries? E.g. are people more socially open/closed in either country? Is one of both significantly more affordable? Etc.
Without wanting to offend anyone, as an outsider both countries seem pretty similar to me apart from the language (never visited any Baltic nation).
I’m sorry if this is a vague question but I’m really not sure how to differentiate my choices. Would love to visit both, but gotta make a choice somewhere.
Again, don’t mean to come off rude, I know that both are different nations with different people, culture & history. 🇱🇻🇱🇹
