I had no clue until researching the 2025 models that the GLI is the only 6 speed you can get from VW now. The GTI and the R only come in automatics. I find that crazy actually.

I have a set of prints that show both 18v and a 24v transformer connected to a 12-24v occupancy sensor. I’m not too versed in low voltage works, so I had concerns if this will damage either one or both of the transformers due to a mismatch in voltages? Or possibly the occupancy sensor since it will be more voltage than it’s rated for?

I am posting this from my original google review which is still not up and most likely wont see the light of day there, however i believe anybody who is interested should be given the chance at knowing what theyre signing up for. Sadly there isnt much coverage on the life inside of Job Corps, ill try my best to provide as much information as possible.
This center is an absolute disaster. It’s disorganized to the point where no one, not even the staff, seems to know what’s going on. Rules change every week, staff is fired/replaced every month and students needs are ignored.
The school system is primitive; you have to sign papers every day, they wont let you leave the school without signatures from at least 3 people, worst if youre a minor. Rules of living in the dorms arent clarified; so you as a student will get in trouble for being told the wrong thing. RAs just gossip and boss you around whenever they want. They dont even give you keys to your dorm! So anybody can come into your dorm at anytime to do whatever they want. Health services are not available on weekends or after hours either so thats scary if you get sick or there is an emergency.
On top of that, the place is filthy- there are MICE in the dorms, dust, roaches, basic necessities like toilet paper, detergent, even heat or hot water are not taken care of. The school equipment like computers and supplies are dusty, dirty, and not working. Worst of all; the wifi cuts off every 30 minutes, you wont get work done and the staff cant even handle the system either due to constant wifi issues.
Honestly, this school is failing its students on every level imaginable. Nothing is guaranteed not even your pay, safety, or even learning anything due to the substandard conditions.
Ill probably be adding to this post if i get any requests for more information, but i think transparency is necessary for any newcomers or anybody overall to read about the truth about this specific center.

I recently tried out JobBridge.io, an AI tool that provides live assistance during interviews. It listens to your conversation and offers real-time suggestions for improving your responses, all tailored to the job description and your resume. It works in the background, completely undetectable.
It worked really well—I landed multiple offers. The AI helped me frame my answers better and gave me the confidence to handle tough questions. I ended up turning down the offers due to personal reasons, but now I’m reflecting: is this fair?
On one hand, it feels like using any other tool to prepare for success, especially if interviews are tough for you. On the other, I can’t help but wonder if it’s deceptive to use AI while the interviewer thinks it’s all me.
What do you think?
