Good morning, all. This is yet another "what grill/smoker should I get" post. I've narrowed things down, and would like to crowdsource an opinion as to the best way to go.
My use case: This will be replacing a rusting out gas grill for everyday grilling and smoking. I plan on keeping my Weber Smokey Mountain for long summer weekend smokes, but it's too much work most of the year. I live in the Pacific Northwest, and despite climate change, it's pretty drippy much of the year. Plus, my summers are often taken up supporting wildland firefighters, so my ability to spend much of a day tending the WSM is limited during the year. I really like the idea of using a device with a PID controller and WiFi connectivity to multitask.
I realize I probably won't get the really deep smoke I get on the WSM on a pellet grill. That's totally fine; I can live with only being able to do that a couple times a year. But being able to add some smoke flavor to everyday cooking is highly desirable. We cook a mix of beef, pork, and chicken, and occasionally veggies (love grilled asparagus with yuzu). Also have zero issue adding a smoke box or two when needed.
Features I'm looking for:
- WiFi and/or Bluetooth connectivity
- iOS app that doesn't suck balls
- Reasonably well-insulated.
- Good heat distribution without many cold spots, especially if it is a smaller grill.
- Easy to clean out and clean up. The gas grill I have is a nightmare.
- Simple and quick to use. It's replacing our gas grill, so really looking for good everyday performance and not the worlds best smoker.
- Not huge. It will sit on our back deck. Would prefer something about the size of the gas grill it will replace a Char-Griller® Grillin' Pro (~ 630 sq in).
- Run off AC or DC (12 volt)
- Works okay with grill grates and/or a griddle accessory
- Super high searing temperature. I can always do a reverse sear on a nice steak with a cast-iron grill pan or grill grates, which I already have on my gas grill.
- Brisket or ribs. I might do a brisket every once in a while, but ribs are very much not my thing.
- Cooking for a huge number of folks. It's just me and my wife, and we occasionally cook for another couple or two coming over. I'll generally do two big chuck roasts, pork loins, tri-tips, or other roasts at a time to freeze. So maximizing grill capacity isn't super important.
- Cold smoking. Again, can do this with the WSM if I really wanted to.
- Cost, to a point. ~$1300 is about our max, but would prefer to go lower; $700-$900 is really the sweet spot. The high-end Yoders and Tragers are right out.
- Weber Searwood 600: Looks to do everything we want, but wondering if the "Direct Flame" function is actually useful or is more a marketing gimmick.
- Recteq Deck Boss 590: Like the bigger hopper capacity. Any downsides I should know about?
- Recteq Bullseye Deluxe: Love how easy it looks to clean. Little concerned about the cooking capacity especially if one tries to add a smoke box to punch up the smokey flavor. Looks like it would be stupid easy to do pizza on as well, which is attractive.
- Camp Chef Woodwind Pro 24: Really like the looks of this grill / smoker, but after adding the sidecar, it's getting pretty spendy. Also, concerns about reliability and durability.
- Given the budget and use case, which of the four on the short list is your choice, and why?
- If you chose between the Deck Boss 590 and the Bullseye, why, and are you happy with your decision? Really having a hard time choosing between these two.
- Any issues one should be aware of with the Weber as a daily driver?
- If you have the Recteq Bullseye, would you buy it again?
- Given the use case I have, would you spend the extra money on the Camp Chef Woodwind Pro?

the last day of the event of Hell event is 19 days away.
If you only do dailies and earn 50 diamonds from Stylist arena and competition weekly, add 200 for monthly login we will have about 1645 diamonds.
If you do the above and also share 15dias you will have 1930.
If you do 300 likes in competition daily (the most likes one can do is 450) from today on the competition boxes will give us around 900diamonds which totals to 2830
If you have a monthly card you will have around 3970
- the diamonds u currently have
Also we get postcards during the Hell event which I didn't include because I don't know how many we would get. So I think according to my calculations and hopes we might even have a chance of finishing the whole hell event.

I mainly game / go on my PC on weekends if the lady and I don’t have any plans and not on weekdays due to a busy work schedule. Mainly plays RTS and base-building games, I add a shit ton of mods and do stuff that strains my current PC. I also use it for Blender, Roblox game development, and schoolwork
(The most game I spend my hours on are RimWorld and the total war series)
Can I get away with a normal 9900, 9950 or should I invest in 7950x3d or the upcoming x3d? My current PC lasted me 8 years, it’s still going but lately I’ve been having problems with it. I want this to last me 8 years or more.

 | Hi, despite lurking here, this is my first post here. Roughly 3/2 years ago I've started practicing and bought a (hunter)bow while living in the city I've had college and work in, after most weird random encounter during one of my long walks, an older geometry professor practicing for a national in a secluded shooting range, I've asked if I could just watch, dude even let me borrow binoculars and asked me if I could check his score for him, he was amazing at it. Never saw that guy again, but after getting to practice at that range, I've met people who met him too and he's been a legend of sorts to me. Also my interest in archery grew thanks to channels like blumineck's. Sadly that original shooting range I went to often has become unusable nowadays, despite me and other respectable people cleaning there every so often, people would come there to shoot guns with plastic balls into cans and vodka bootles (obviously a bad idea) and moreover it has become sort of a loud bum resort, I don't blame them, it's especially hard to live nowadays in bigger city in Poland (Cracow/Kraków in case you're interested). And with it other things happened to me, the contract for my job working at the museum has ended and also I've lost my livelong friends I've made while living here, but it was mainly my fault, with archery becoming one of my main ways of coping and a part of personal therapy. Completely by accident I've stumbled into another, better looking archery range which was even closer to my home so when I've learned this place was about to be owned by a club and all, I've applied to become a member of it. https://preview.redd.it/bz8x95njz23e1.jpg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e7c4a8eae74d3fb56f274baae9ff632f8d811041 What surprised me is how nice people at said club are, first practices and lessons with other foam weapons and then later obviously archery, but it wasn't just that. Also creating accessories from wooden leftovers, like benches or holders for bows and arrows as you can see on the pic, moving targets, even organizing tournaments which I've somehow placed second during Halloween one. Yesterday was the first time when technically I actually helped a kid and couple of people learn, they were appearently curious and also had some personal frustration, despite being introverted and not liking company of other people, I just naturally told them what mistakes they were making and offered to shoot alongside them, whether into ballons or do some other challenges (like kid saying a color on target and I had to specifically hit said color or other way around), also I've offered to pull arrows from wood when they had problem etc. If anything I was more happy to have someone to talk to and feel useful. I also vollunteered to help with social media (linked to its page, I don't want this seem like an annoying ad, just if you're living in Kraków/Cracow yourself or close, I really recommend you to come, especially at Sunday practices) and make some montages or something from time to time since this is currently the only I can repay their community in me (coloured) vs. best archer from the club at roughly 30 yards tl;dr after ups and downs i've found a community and place i feel good in, this hobby helping me a lot But, like I've said, I'm currently jobless, rent is getting more expensive and unless I'll find a job that doesn't drag me down like the previous one did at times, I'll be forced to go back to my family in a different city in the country. It's not all bad, I was actually thinking I could start similar thing there on our family's village plot or something, but I still wish I could stay within that club, first time I've bonded with people irl over hobby, sport or anything and also I simply worry I'll just get bored of it without these interactions, challenges and so forth. Could you suggest me anything I could do for example while I'm still there, for example to encourage more people to give archery a try or some other games? As people who are already interested in archery or are good at it, what kind of content would you like to see to showcase those spots or maybe anyone's skill?
