I have learned so much in school to forget them in minutes. it's a undeniable fact that school value grades rather than actual learning experience. I also believe the things taught in school can be condensed since we learn all the subjects then narrow it down at grade 11(16 years old), I honestly think we can do it much earlier (the narrowing down). That way we are also not following the west as they determine whats needs to be taught or not. + Because of this whole education system people are considering 18 year olds as babies, saying they are not mature yet or calling them teenagers ( islam doesn't have this concept , he is complete adult as soon as he hits puberty, he is fully responsible for his actions) They talk about maturity when they cant even define it what are the standards for it (JUST age?!?!) No! + With a new and improved curriculum we would we able to empower the ummah, make them progress faster, because some kids just aren't talented in maths, and slowing the process down just for them is useless because they are not gonna choose A/L maths anyways so, as a result of that the other kids just lag behind. This way we can create 18 year old who are ready to face society (my uncle went to iraq alone to work when he was 17 years old , he is 65+ now) Also then marriage at a young age would be much easier, as the father of the daughter doesn't have to have imaan just the worldy status is enough. That way zina decreases all these haram relationships decrease. +Also with this new system we would actually be praying luhar at time , rather than teaching islam after the azaan without praying (happens at my school). +I dont remember anything in the history book. +We would actually be teaching proper aqeedah and whos mahram and whos not, what are rulings of islam, ruling on can a girl teacher teach a group of 17 year olds. Coz free mixing in the name of education is made soo normal now. +So we have a generation who understands the actual religion rather than CULTURAL religion ( this needs to be implemented in countries like india,pakistan, Bangladesh, sri lanka as these people have intertwined islam and culture to the point they claim certain things are in hadeeth but have never read , its just feels like its said in hadeeth to them, coz they been taught that for so long) + Lot of these deviant sects would understand (some atleast)

Hello all. I'm getting a peak next week and I'm hyped. Im new to dabbing in general and hoping to get advice on a few things. I bought a rig / banger / rhino direction cap a few weeks ago (love it). My problem is I make my own rosin and it's always slightly amber (yes heat issues) and it aways leaves my banger very crusty inside and its difficult to clean vs bought stuff.
1 Is cleaning. What's your method? Everything I find online is "swab w/ alcohol". I learned from my current rig it's more complex than that. I'm concerned the peak won't handle my homemade. My current method of cleaning my banger. After dab, swab with dry q tip. Let cool for few mins, swab with cool water q tip (temp difference matters) , then swab with alcohol. Works fine for bought. But homemade I have to heat up banger so everything chars to the max and then a toothpick to get specs. Repeat. Am I better off using old torch rig for homemade only? That kinda defeats the purpose of getting the peak though. Maybe I'm just putting to much in cuz I'm new to dabs. I feel it's a combo of noob/homemade that prolly has some micro plant material that's burning
2 question: I don't wanna get home and think I wish I would've got this or that also. I'd like some pearls and a spin insert but only see online for the peak pro. Are the chamber inserts worth it? Should I get another (inserts parts you need)? Glob mobs vs q tips? I need a for dummys manual I guess but I'm old af so gimme a break. Any info would be appreciated

I’m growing lemongrass for the first time to make teas, soups, dressing etc.
Every harvest video I watched on YouTube has lemongrass about half as thick so I’m wondering if I’m harvesting way too late or if it’s ok if they’re this thick (about 1”-1.5”) ? I’m saving a few to over winter for next year and I’m wondering if I should save the smaller ones or thicker ones to plant again in spring. TIA 💚

I will start by saying i dont know jack about routers or networks other than what i have researched on the internet. None of my other friends have this issue and i havent found a post about it on Reddit either. This happens just for D2. All other games do not care if we are on the same network.
Whenever my kid comes to visit we can never play D2 together on the same network. Whe can party up in orbit but just get black screen and weasel errored out. We have a workaround where we put his xbox on the guest network and it ends up working. The thing is the guest network kicks you every 24 hours and usually at the worst time. Im gonna outline a workaround we have found but i am hoping someone can help us figure out why we cant just connect and play on the normal network.
Normal Setup when hes not here. PC wired All suggested ports open and forwarded UPnP disabled.
Workaround when hes here:

This is what we have done for a couple years but i read on bungies website recently if 2 people want to play on the same network UPnP needs to be on and ports cant be open or forwarded. Yesterday before he got here i tried and tested this. I deleted all open and forwarded ports and turned on UPnP. I had a spare PC i put on the main WiFi and with his steam account i was able to party up and load into activities just fine on the same network. Cool. Thought this was all fixed.
PC 1 Wired PC 2 Main WiFi No ports open or forwarding UPnP enabled
Fast forward to today, he went to put his xbox on the main network and we partied up in orbit and got weaseled like we always have.

WEASELED!
What am i doing wrong? I guess we can always use the guest network but its driving me nuts that this just doesn't work like it should.
Any help would truly be appreciated.

Today I weighed in at 295 and I’m super excited! My highest weight last summer was 416 pound! Today was the first time ever I went to get a wax and only had to hold my stomach one time at the end- my friends who get it, get it! Day of VSG (7/8/24) my documented weight was 378. My next goal is to reach 278💪🏽! We’ve got this!

So let's go back 5-6 months back, when I started preparing for start. I wanted to give my best so I took an online coaching and started preparing rigorously things went well initially then I got suffered from chickenpox it took me weeks to get back on track. Realizing I don't have now much time left I started to wake up entire night for this D day. I completed my syllabus around 45-50 days to cat. Gave my initial few mocks where my score not even crossed 20. Lost all hopes but I was very close so didn't gave up as I want to complete this race didn't matter I came first or last.
One day back to D-day, 23rd November 2024, I went to sleep around 10pm, I was so anxious that I was not able to slept entire night.
The D-day, 24th November 2024, I waked up before my alarm ringed since I was asleep, took a cold shower, booked rapido, after covering certain distance I realized that I had forgotten my specs. So we took U turn. I called my friend so he can come near main road and give it to me. I was started getting anxious at this point of time. When I met my friend and asked him for specs, he started searching it in his pocket, I thought that he might have left in the room itself, things got more panicked when I had to rush to my room to search for it, then in the streets but we didn't find it. He had lost it in the mid way. What more tragic incident could have had happen than this. Also I was having only one pair of specs. My mind got really fucked up at this point of time, now only two hours were left for the exam to start. For god's grace I reached the centre on time, but was crying on my pitiful state.
I somehow calmed myself and managed the situation. But I wasn't able to concentrate to my full efficiency. I gave my best as much I can give for this exam during preparation. Things didn't went well on the D day. We can stuck in situations we haven't even dreamt for. Always things are not in our favour. May be it was not a good day for me.

When they make you submit a resume/CV, they mean a “normal” resume that would be formatted as for job applications or they mean an academic one? and if so what’s the real difference? I know it can be longer etc but I don’t understand if I can just expand more in detail on the work I’ve done in projects/research keeping the same style/format of the resume for job applications. Hi! Im a first time cat owner, and just rescued an 11 year old “velcro cat” about two weeks ago. He is pretty chill, and sociable, and only took about an hour to open up and explore his new space.
im traveling for about a month over the holidays and planned to leave him here and have a couple friends rotate through to feed him, but I feel sad at the thought of him spending long nights alone (he’s a super cuddly cat) and am considering taking him back home with me. It would be about a four hour flight. He has a prescription for gabapentin, which I would probably give him before we fly, but am wary of how much stress it may cause him, and how much he can handle at this point in his life.
any thoughts on this?

Gyerekkoromban nagyon sokat pecáztam, és mivel nemrég új helyre költöztünk, ahol lehetőségem van akár napi szinten lemenni a partra horgászni (RSD partvonal), elhatároztam, hogy 2025-re kiváltom az éves területi jegyet és megfogom a karácsonyi halászléhez valót. Mivel nagyjából 15 éve nem horgásztam, rá kellett döbbennem, hogy ehhez horgászvizsgát kell tennem. Megnéztem a tananyagot, ami 70 oldalnyi tömör szöveg volt, és mivel már eléggé elszoktam a tanulástól, első ránézésre elég ijesztőnek tűnt.
Szakmámból adódóan úgy döntöttem, készítek egy kis appot, amivel – a Duolingóhoz hasonlóan – rövid leckéken keresztül, szórakoztatóbban tudok felkészülni. Visszatekintve a vizsga egész könnyű volt, és lehet, hogy kevesebb felkészüléssel is sikerült volna. Viszont a barátaim visszajelzései alapján az app egész jó lett, úgyhogy úgy döntöttem, megosztom a világgal. 😀
Az app teljesen ingyenes, és jelenleg Androidra, a Google Playből letölthető (ha sok pozitív visszajelzést kap, készítek egy iOS-verziót is! 😀).
