2024.11.25 21:21 No-Championship874 Lowering springs for everyday use (in Scotland, UK)
Hi, I have just bought a 350z which has Eibach lowering springs on it (unsure which ones, the receipt the previous owner provided only say Eibach springs) but they are just too low for every day use (have torn the skin of the resonator going over speed bumps. What springs do people recommend which 1) lower the car for a better look and 2) are drivable and suitable for everyday use. The current setup is fine for 80% of the bumps I’ve gone over so far but I do need to drive slowly over every bump I come across

Hi all, I am new to digital cameras, but I’d like to get more serious about my interest in photography and am trying to figure out the best type of camera for me. I’m particularly interested in two very different types of photography: macro and astrophotography (I know, it’s a tall order). While I understand that lenses will play a big role in achieving these goals, I’m curious about what I should prioritize when choosing a camera body.
Here’s what I’m considering so far:
Image Sensors
From what I’ve gathered, full-frame cameras seem to be a big deal for astrophotography because of their larger sensors and low-light performance. But I’ve also read that APS-C sensors might be better suited for macro photography due to their crop factor and potentially lower cost.

- If they are, which should is more critical to its respective shooting and amenable to the other, given I can only choose one camera?
It seems like both DSLRs and mirrorless cameras could work for my needs. I’ve heard that mirrorless cameras are generally more compact but might have higher price points, while DSLRs are often more affordable and have better battery life.
- Are there specific pros or cons for either type when it comes to astro or macro photography?
- Is one better suited for durability or versatility in extreme conditions (cold nights for astro)?
I’ve noticed that camera manufacturers use different proprietary lens mounts. I want to avoid limiting myself when it comes to lens options, especially for macro and astro lenses.
- Are there specific mounts or brands I should consider for broader compatibility of photography types?
- How important is access to third-party lenses?

if 15% of men in the us are 6ft or taller, that would mean about 1 in 7 men meet that standard. and considering that most short men spend their days rotting indoors, that metric should be even more likely. honestly it doesnt seem very difficult or rare for the average woman to find and meet a tall guy.
