I just got my first staghorn, P bifurcatum. I Just oiled a wooden round from a local woodyard with linseed oil to use as my mounting board. I am only doing one coat of oil, just to make the colors pop. I've seen some staghorns mounted on oiled or varnished boards before, but while researching I also saw some posts where people advise not to mount on an oiled board. I'm thinking that once the oil is fully cured, It would be safe? Linseed oil is also a natural oil, so I can't imagine it ofgassing or seeping any chemicals into the staghorn as it grows to the board. What are peoples thoughts?

Sorry for no pic. I have 2 registers in my bedroom at the end of the run. The last one in the series blows air no problem. The second to last one is almost non existent.
I went into the crawl, disconnected the flex duct and inspected. There are no blockages and the air coming directly from the truck is weak, even with the flex duct taken off. Any suggestions?

2024.11.25 19:50 boosted1990 Bought the wrong intake?
Hey, I just received my order for my r600 intake from Urotuning and I noticed it had a sticker indicating mk8 on the box (I have a mk7.5).
Upon check the website again:
What I ordered: VWR1200R600E
What I should've ordered: VWR1200R600EUSA
On Urotuning's website it gives me the compatible icon for both parts.
Anyone know if any of this will give me problems during install? Or if I should just request for an exchange for the mk 7.5 (potentially more $$$ wasted?)
I also used chatgpt lol and it told me should be compatible, but may require different mounting points, changing in brackets, slightly different airflow.
Any advice from real people? Thanks!

we only get 6 gumdrops per day, there's two things in tuxedosams shop for 1 gumdrop each leaving 4 per day. everything in my melody's shops is 10-15 gumdrops so far for me, how are we supposed to get everything? i already have a good amount of the furniture from trading thankfully, but i feel bad for players that haven't and i wanted extras! i've played since before last years but i wasn't active during the event so i didn't have anything.

2024.11.25 19:50 weepyclown I have to stop chasing the "sick enough" feeling
Brief context: 22 y/o male, been in recovery for several years but very up and down (but a lot of ups!), relapsed pretty hard a few months ago and have been preparing to re-enter recovery (at home, will be taking time off work starting in 2 weeks)
My ED is telling me I need to wait until after my doctor's appointment on Monday, and THEN I will be ready to recover. It's telling me I need to reach x weight and do x thing, which will somehow prove that I am worthy of recovery.
My therapist is pushing me to increase my intake now, not to wait another week, my behaviors have become more dangerous and I know that the more damage I do and the longer I wait, the harder it will be for me to get out of it. And I am in a lot of pain, not just mentally, but my body is exhausted, so I am very much ready to get on with recovering again.
But then there's that "not sick enough" mentality that always comes back up. And you'd think it would be obvious at this point that there is no truth to it, that even if I get to that arbitrary "sick enough" goalpost, it will just keep moving itself lower and lower. It's the reason I keep relapsing, just to catch up with it.
Sick enough doesn't exist and I certainly do not have anything to prove. So, I need to break it, sooner than later. I need to slowly increase my intake to avoid refeeding syndrome before I go "all-in" and I need to start today. Just like everyone is telling me, I've finally put it together.
I am determined to go home today and instead of only eating my planned "allowed" meal, I will add on more. AND I will start to work on decreasing my exercise compulsions. I don't know if I can be fully honest with my boyfriend and tell him I've been lying about my current intake because I feel so ashamed but I am ready to turn things around and do it now because I know postponing it won't change a thing.
