I know this is a very common complaint but im just wondering if theres really any way to fix it at all?
I play on pc and my friend plays on xbox (we live roughly 10-15 minutes from each other so no issues there) i always have high ping and while his doesnt show, hes never rubber banding like i am. We usually play on my ship as well.
We live in indiana and i saw from a post (not sure if its true or still accurate) that theres a server in Chicago so i dont think thered be an issue there either.
I have a pretty good internet plan and have no issues on other games 90% of the time but on sot its always at least 100. Sometimes even more.
Is this just an issue everyone has to deal with or is there a fix?

ich wollte wieder meinen Jahresbestand an Vitaminen bei MyProtein aufstocken. Gestern gab es 55% auf alles und als ich heute nochmal nachgesehen habe nurnoch 8% auf alles als BF-Deal.
Dabei habe ich dann die Nährwerte mit den Referenzwerten für mich und anderen Anbietern verglichen. Leider ist mir dabei aufgefallen, dass MP nicht nur teurer ist, als andere Marken und z. T. sogar ESN, sondern die Referenzwerte viel zu gering sind.
Bsp: Bei den A-Z Vitaminen sollen 100% des Tagesbedarf an Vitamin D abgedeckt werden, beim Vergleich sind es jedoch nur 20%.
Daher jetzt meine Frage:
Wo kauft ihr zum Black Friday eure Vitamin-Supps +O3 + Iso Clear und was könnt ihr bzgl. Qualität empfehlen?

 | This has never happened before whenever I would put a game in the roms folder. When I click on it- it tells me “Cannot launch the title.” I’m not sure why it’s suddenly not working at all. The other ones are working but not that one. I tried reinstalling twilight menu but that doesn’t seem to help. If someone has a fix please tell me thank you 🙏!!!! why could temperatures 3,4,5 and 6 be so much higher than the others and should I be worried? I reapplied thermal paste on my cpu for the first time and had a hard time reattaching the cooling unit so I might have done something wrong

2024.11.25 19:46 michaelbluejay Is 100 Mbps a decent speed for serving websites from a VPS?
I'm shopping for a VPS and one host looks good except that their download speed is among the lowest of all the hosts/plans tested by one of the review sites: 100 Mbps.
However, 100 Mbps is 12.5 MBps, which means a 200kb web page could be served in 0.016 seconds (plus connection times, of course). So, "slow" seems slow only in comparison. Like, if one car goes 500 mph and another goes 200 mph, the 200 mph is faster than I could ever need anyway. (My sites will have only about 2000 visitors/day with lightweight pages.)
Is my thinking correct, or is 100 Mbps truly a downside for my application?

And no it does not mean I purely learn stuff without having an understanding of them, I mean there are those subjects... But I just wanted to filter that out cus I want this to be able to be applied to anything. Generally what I mean is I just want tips for memorisation , apart from active learning, as it can not be applied to literally anything+ I just want new tips in general and the first question ofc lol;)

Fix #1: using directx 11 (dxvk) instead of directx 12 (vkd3d) by putting "-d3d11" (or "-dx11") in launch options Fix #2: using wine-ge-8-26 or another wine/proton version (aew fight forever worked the best when i used wine-ge-8-26) Fix #3: use a launcher like lutris or heroic games launcher instead of using steam (lutris made it easier for me to identify the issue) Fix #4: try using wined3d (uses opengl instead of vulkan, which is useful for gpus that don't support vulkan,but it will have slower performance) instead of dxvk/vkd3d

Hi all- in a previous post I shared my story of slowly losing a friend. (Long and winded and has many typos but I was just pouring my heart out)
TLDR: my college friend/roommate who I loved stopped talking to me right after graduation for no discernible reason. (Completely unrelated to being roommates we were actually pretty compatible on that end). I loved her a lot, and I’m heartbroken to know she probably thought of me as disposable based on previous conversations we’d had about other of her friends
I think right now I need some solid concrete actionable advice on how to stop grieving and wanting to check in on her. I appreciate sincerely conceptual advice (time, thinking of it differently, letting go, etc) because it’s all true, but I need something concrete with immediate (even if only mild) payoff
I keep thinking about her and wanting to text or call despite months of unanswered messages. We have our locations shared and I want to stop sharing our of pettiness but I keep thinking what if she texts me and sees I stopped sharing? Etc etc.
We didn’t end on bad terms or anything… it just sort of ended on no terms and I’m hung up on it and I feel like I need closure to move on… or like for her to cuss me out or something like I need a reason to cling on to
Any advice or help is appreciated 💗
