My 11 month old dachshund has been on Prozac for 12 days, and it seems that he is getting way more anxious than before. He has been completely panicked all day today indoors with the windows opened. This never used to happen before. He is on the lowest dose possible given his weight (4mg / day). Has anyone experienced anxiety getting worse before it gets better?

Okay, so I cannot stress it enough how much I loved the show Rivals. I absolutely loved something after so long that I had to finish it in 3 days even though my schedule is jampacked. 2024.11.25 20:49 -EMPARAWR- A discussion for those intrigued by the Blog for the Blood god #ThrityNators lists
WARNING: Before I get started, please remember rule #1, BE CIVIL! No trolls, no trolling, and no axxholes. Please be courteous and show that our devotion to the blood god doesn't mean that we aren't capable of civil discourse.
So, it seems that an increasing number of both casual and competitive players are discovering the value of the #thirtynators style of play, advocated by the content creator Blog for the Blood God, and I am most definitely one of them.
At first, I thought, like most of you, that it was ridiculous. I mean termies vs 8bound? But their so slow, and have so many different weapon profiles, and their ability only works when some of them have died right?
True, but there is a great deal of strategic value there that almost all of us had failed to see. Obviously if you have already seen his videos then you know what I'm talking about, and if you haven't, I greatly encourage you to check them out. Even if you don't agree at the end, it makes for an extremely interesting discussion. He and other guests he has had on the show who have been running these lists, make a lot of very persuasive evidence-based arguments and anecdotal evidence for it.
If you want to read a very short and very incomplete summary of the reasoning check out the bottom of the post for the SUMMARY section. However, I recommend just watching the videos on youtube.
So, I have been doing a lot of list building exploring the potential options and came across a rather interesting base build with a great many flexible options that can be added on to it. Here's the idea.
THE CORE OF THE LIST
- 1x Invocatus (For scouting 2x10 termies and then CC support or doing secondaries, or harassing enemy shooters) - 2x10 Jakhals (Home obj + closest midfield obj. +Blessing rerolls. Sticky objectives. Backfield deep strike screening. Charge blocking terrain.) - 3x2 Chaos Spawn (Cheap, Fast, and amazingly durable. CC support. Move blocking. Secondary runners. Harassing enemy shooters) - 3x10 Termies (The main battleforce. 2 on field, 1 in reserve) (2x Chain+Auto, 6x Power+Combi-Weapon, 2x Pair Accursed)
Then you have 440 points left over to play with, which opens up a very surprising amount of options for what you want to gain with your remaining points depending on your playstyle, or what kind of terrain you play on (GW vs WTC).
Here are some examples.
- 435 pts - ANGRON - 435 pts - 3x FORGEFIEND w/3x Ecotplasma Cannons - 420 pts - 3x MAULERFIEND - 425-430 pts - Any combination of up to 3 FORGEFIENDS/MAULERFIENDS - 420 pts - 3x3 EIGHTBOUND - 435 pts - 2x3 EIGHTBOUND + 1x3 EXALTED EIGHTBOUND - 440 pts - 2x3 EXALTED EIGHTBOUND + 1 HELBRUTE (In reserve) - 430 pts - 10x BERZERKERS + 1xMOE in a RHINO. +1x10 Jakhals - 420 pts - 10x BERZERKERS + 1xKHARN in a RHINO. +1x10 Jakhals - 420 pts - 3x HELBRUTES W/FISTS (in reserve). 1x JUGGERLORD. Remove 1x2 CHAOS SPAWN (For those folks who love Helbrutes CC double strike) - 450 pts - LORD OF SKULLS (If you wanted to go really crazy and turn 2 units of chaos spawn into more jakhals to run this big bastard)
My point being, that coincidentally, despite our severely restricted number of good units, this fulfills all the basic rolls we need (Fast combat power in the midfield, objective holders, and secondary runners) and then leaves an amount of points that is weirdly just right for an immense variety of different things to run based on your playstyle.
Also, it shows just how much other stuff you can run for the cost of Angron lol. I love our primarch as much as the next guy, but he is EXTREMELY expensive, very swingy in his effectiveness based on terrain density and successful resurrections, and if he doesn鈥檛 come back from the dead, his unit is drastically overcosted. So, this list still leaves the option of taking him, but also presents a great many alternatives that mostly don't require altering the core list at all.
Anyways, I just found this coincidental list building discovery very intriguing and wanted to share it with others who are interested in #ThirtyNators. Also I would love to hear other people's constructive thoughts about making #ThirtyNators an even more viable concept.
*********** SUMMARY ***********
You should really just go watch the videos because they explain it much better lol. However here's the jist of it.
Eightbound are more and more becoming a known entity and a solved problem in the competitive scene, and obviously the T1 charge style of play has similar problems. People are much too aware of it and how to easily counter it because we have so few units, and almost everyone is running slight variations on the exact same list, so people have lots of practice playing into that very limited playstyle.
Eightbound are fast no doubt, and their scouting is great, they can kill, and have a great aura. Exalted Eightbound can hit like a truck, can kill vehicles pretty well, and can deep strike.
However, they are both very vulnerable to being attacked themselves or just getting shot off the board since they lack durability, and with their small unit size and high points costs, every model lost is a massive dip in the units combat viability.
Also, with neither having any shooting, they are sometimes forced into extremely unfavorable close combat situations, such as charging into fights first, or getting heroically intervened into by fights first units, because close combat is all that they can do. It is literally their only option.
Terminators solve many of these problems, and while termies in general aren't considered very good right now for various reasons in many factions, our versions can really mitigate those issues.
We can make them fast and get them where they need to be really early in the game with invocatus's scouting, or our 2" move blessing, or advance and charge, or all of the above. Also with their deep strike, a unit in reserves can rapid ingress straight to the front line on our side. They don't have to come in on the enemies backfield to be effective. They are a big scary bullwark that is surprisingly difficult to kill.
We beef up their offensive capabilities obviously with both our detachment ability and our blessings.
Our FNP blessing can even buff their durability further.
They can soften targets quite significantly with their shooting, especially with multiple units and utilizing Combi Weapons instead of Combi Bolters or Storm Bolters and are again, surprisingly effective at this. Throwing out Dev Wounds on a 4+ vs Custodes or other termies and elite infantry goes a long way.
Terminators actually become much stronger when you lose 1-5 of them. With 1 model lost they have a higher combat capability then 6 Exalted eightbound in almost all combat scenarios.

The difference is only in the summary and details; like the prayers of a great saint, the prayers of ordinary people like you or me, even if they are not aware of it, have a share of that light. This truth holds a mystery, even if the conscious mind does not perceive it. But the unfolding and illumination differ according to the degrees of those performing them. However many stages and degrees there are from the seed of a date palm to the mature tree, the degrees of the prayers and their stages are even more numerous.
