Hello, I currnetly have a bank account that was made when I was 16 when I got my first job. I been slowly building credit through that account with a credit card. Hey all! Looking for some advice on how to move my body slower when doing laps.
Some background: I was on the swim team when I was a kid (8-13) and have always been a strong swimmer. That being said, after I aged of our swim team I stopped swimming laps and just enjoyed the pool.
Current dilemma: I recently joined a new gym that has a pool and was so excited to start swimming again. I realized pretty quickly though that although my muscle memory is strong my endurance is almost non-existent. I could only do about 2 laps without loosing my breath. To actually maximize my time in the pool I think swimming slower would be my best bet, however I can't get my body to cooperate with that. It's used to trying to go as fast as possible. Any tips on how to get my limbs to listen?
Tl;Dr: need tips to move my body slower in the water, as it is accustom to trying to go as fast as possible (I don't have the endurance to go fast).
