2 nights ago I went to the hospital due to blacking out after a lot of pain I went to the emergency room and they told me I have a small hernia but it could heal on his own if I just rest I can’t rest properly bc I have stuff I have to do and I have to take care of myself Last night I was sitting and i had intense pain here and there and today I’m having pain in the surrounding area and nothing feels right like there’s something missing But I don’t know If it’s me overthinking or if I should go I don’t know if this is concerning I just don’t want to go and they tell me nothings changed

I know exempt employees can't be paid overtime and have to be paid their salary for work. What I can't find is if they can be paid "premium pay".
At my Job, non exempt staff will be paid double pay if it's severe weather.. Basically "show up pay" for working during snow storms. This is a setting where it operates 24/7 and can't be closed. For the other sites where it can be closed (the offices), exempt staff get office closure PTO to use during the closure for severe weather. The issue is sometimes the exempt manager at the 24/7 location is required to come in and work. It seems only fair that they would get paid show up pay too, because they're taking the same risks to come in during severe weather that no other exempt staff are.. But then they don't get paid any extra. Is there a work around for this? Just doesn't seem fair that one person doesn't get that premium pay despite taking the same risks, especially when they're ordered to come in despite the offices being closed. If they weren't required to come in, it wouldn't be an issue and they would just take the office closure PTO that all the exempt office staff take. For clarity, it's a non profit and most of the agency works in an office but there's a shelter that needs to be staffed so the shelter manager has to come in despite being exempt and all the other exempt staff not having to come in because they work at the offices and not the shelter.

I LOVE freezer meal prep and actually do it semi regularly, but usually only eat one freezer meal a week. I'm excited to start meal preparation for post partum. I'm only 24 weeks though. I think it might be too early because I find they retain best quality when used within 3 months. Looking for everyones opinions on the best time to start.

Lamentablemente el antiguo moderador del sub estaba inactivo, por lo que desde este momento soy el nuevo moderador.
Como primer medida voy a ofrecerles un AMA con un veterinario amigo y vamos a responder todas las consultas gatunas que tengan.
Como segunda medida, vamos a empezar a darle más prioridad al contenido de verdaderos gatitos argentinos y todos los posts con la única intención de farmear karma para cuentas de OF queda absolutamente prohibido: Se acabaron las imagenes de pinterest en 144p.
La tercer medida va a ser darle un poco de contenido estático al sub y comenzar a armar una lista de números y contactos importantes de refugios y veterinarios 24 hs de buena reputación comunitaria en cada rincón del país además de información básica de cuidado de gatos con consejos y recomendaciones usando productos, marcas y establecimientos Argentinos.
La cuarta y última medida será conformar un pequeño mod team de personas muy dedicadas a reddit para que podamos mantener el sub funcionando bien y libre de spam o contenidos perjudiciales.
Está perfecto compartir memes o fotos random de nuestros gatos pero se evitará el posteo con el único fin de ganar karma.
