When they evacuated their home, they walked through fires that as she describes to me-felt like the horrors of the Day of Judgment. Severed electrical wires hung dangerously in the streets, and they had to walk over rubble and stones. On their way to the south, the road was filled with corpses. They had to walk carefully, avoiding looking down, because stopping could mean being killed. Sereen said she doesn’t like to remember this. On the way south, the ground was full of dead bodies. They stepped over the belongings of the dead, like money and clothes. She also saw food, toys, and dolls of children who were killed. I found a disturbing article that talked about how some turkeys are abused and sexually assaulted. I won’t go into the details here, but it is very disturbing. He says this is a Rude thing to do specially since we have been invited to Thanksgiving where they will be making a turkey. I found this and it really hit home for me. Growing up I was treated very similar to Harry. And as a child I so desperately wanted the wizarding world to be real. I escaped my abuse everyday by entering that world. What Harry Potter has done for me I could never fully explain it. So finding out what my name and backstory would be was so great. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t tear up a bit by the backstory given to me. Because I’m a mom now and I never wanted to be one. I thought, my entire family is abusive, my mom treated me like a burden so why would I be a good mom? And once I found out I was pregnant (sa) I decided that I knew what love was supposed to feel like. I was at such a low place that I was desperate for someone to actually love me and I decided to keep my child and break that mold. I’m grateful, eternally. So the backstory given just felt so right. I hope some of you find some enjoyment in this little generator.
