I (23F) have been dealing with POTS symptoms for quite a while but won’t receive a diagnosis until next Monday. I have been constantly yawning for the past 24 hours and today at work I almost passed out, I was yawning so much and started zoning out and disassociating and feeling lightheaded. I can fall asleep but I just end up yawning all day all over again as soon as I wake up and all my cardiologist did was tell me to increase my liquids but I have been and the yawning isn’t stopping and I am at my wits end.

I am an older GenX (55F) and was just talking to a early 30's F millennial at work and we got to talking about what food we are serving for Thanksgiving. Then she started in on how Trump is going to help lower prices. I mumbled a non-commital response hoping to head her off but that wasn't good enough for her so she then went on about how people are acting like the country is going to be worse off soon and I said something about tarrifs not helping prices and LBGTQ, women, and immigrants who might end up worse off and she said "He didn't do any of that in his first term, why would he do that now?"
I just said that he wasn't fully God yet in his first term and walked away. You can't talk to these people about anything. I was just making small talk on if I was serving turkey or ham on Thursday and now I am probably on her list to harrass daily.

2024.11.25 22:20 ProofCelery6 Partner got mad because I missed his call
I missed a call from a partner today because I was on a plane. I had told my office I would be working remotely Monday-Wednesday because I was going to see family for Thanksgiving. I was actually working on the plane, but the one thing I couldn’t do for my hour long flight was make phone calls.
When I landed, I had two missed calls and an email from a partner who had called me about forty-five minutes prior. By the time I get off the plane and am settled in a quiet corner of the airport with my laptop it’s been about an hour since he first attempted to call me, but I call him back. He answers the phone and super sarcastically asks me if I’ve blocked his number. I explained I was working remotely today and had just landed, but not sure if that makes me look bad. Turns out, he was not calling me for any sort of fire drill or emergency. He just said that they were going to go ahead and send something I drafted to the clients. That was literally it. I asked if he needed me to do anything else and he said no.
How much do I need to be worried? Honestly I get the annoyance of associates saying they are working remote and then coming up with all these excuses for not doing things that they could do had they just come to the office, but I really don’t think that calling back within the hour is that ridiculous.
For context, I’m a baby first-year associate.

Genau was der Titel sagt. Hab am Samstagabend meine grüne Deichmann-Einkaufstasche im Zug vergessen. Es war nur eine Station vor Endstation, also wurde die Tasche 5 Minuten auf einem Sitz alleine gelassen bis alle aussteigen mussten.
Wie hoch sind die Chancen dass ich das Ding wiedersehe? Ich ruf morgen beim Lost & Found der ÖBB an, hab es heute verpeilt. Aber Verlustmeldung ist schon seit Samstag abgeschickt, heute kam keine Rückmeldung.
