That got me thinking, what are all the incidents where the show got into trouble? It’s be cool to compile a list. First time buyer here so new to the whole process.
We found a house that we love but it was underpinned in September 2022. The seller has provided a certificate of structural adequacy which states that the house has been underpinned and the cause was a broken drain which has also been fixed.
The house has been on the market for a while but that appears to be because the sellers are not accepting offers rather than buyers not progressing because of bad surveys.
We obviously plan to get a survey done if we have an offer accepted just to be sure but is there anything we are missing or need to be cautious of?

I don't even know where to begin. Yesterday, my step father was walking around the house, making food when his ran too fast and slipped on the floor and busted his lip on the side of the table. I was in my room judt playing my games and texting my friends as one does, I heard the thump but since no one was crying I thought it was just a regular occurrence so I didn't go check but I heard my step father in distress and went to go check and found him covered in blood, from his face to his shirt and all over the floor. It was like a crime scene. I dropped everything and got him and my mom to take him to the ER down the street to get patched up. I stayed to clean up and later meet them at the hospital. My step father told me to call his son so I did, to let him know of the situation so he won't be caught of guard. I called him let him know and then I sent him pictures. And omg that was the worst thing I could've done.
Once I sent him the pictures. He went on about calling the cops. At first he made it sound like my 70 year old mother was the one who hit him and he wanted to call the cops on her and that set me off. I was fumming. This grown man in his 40s with a wife and kids is trying to mess with my family, by falsely accusing us of something that did not happen. I told him to leave me alone and texted him some other things. That was that. He called me saying that my step father said he was fighting before he fell, and my step father told me he never even called him in the first place. I made it to the hospital and told my step father, his daughter and my mother what his son told me and they got angry for sure but said let him call them. What are the cops going to do if nothing didn't happen right? So I'm dressed in workout clothes because I'm about to head to the gym so I got shorts on and a tank top. I'm about to head out when a cop stops me in the ER parking lot. Asked for my ID and is immediately accusing me of brutally beating my step father because he got multiple calls about me doing that to him. Next thing 3 more cop cars show up, and I'm in handcuffs, getting put in the back of a cop car. My mother and my step father's family were informed of this and next thing I know I see cops, grabbing at their guns wanting to shoot at my mother for not backing up. These grown ass men about to get trigger happy for a 70 year old woman. Turns out my step father's son told his whole family that I brutally beat their father and was trying to run which escalated the whole thing. And turns out his 3 sons all called the cops at the same time to say I did it when it didn't even happen. They were drunk too and were not even at the scene nor did they ever even try to see him at the hospital. It took them an hour to ask my step father what happened and for them to finally believe me and let me go. If I would've left I feel like things would've gone so so much worse. I'm glad everything turned out fine but I want to know what I can do against this? Can I sue? I cant just let them get us almost killed or imprisoned whith false accusations while they have fun drinking. Any advice would be great.

So context: over the last two years in particular my best friend and I have grown apart. We live in two different states and while we we've been best friends since freshman year of college (11 years), lately I've really been feeling super disconnected from her. I sometimes feel like she doesn't really know me anymore and also that she isn't making an effort to be a constant in my life. I had been feeling like this for a while and reached out to her by writing her a letter, expressing my desire for us to rebuild our friendship. She responded back via text saying that she also wanted to be more intentional with our relationship but then never followed through. Last month Cousin got married and I invited her to the wedding. She came and while we were there, we also celebrated my birthday, which was the same weekend. She had gotten me a necklace and a bracelet that was so far from my taste in jewelry. And this is not the first time that she has gotten me a birthday gift that wasn't something that I would want. the same thing happened last year, she got me a book that I would never read and a few other cute trinkets, but not things that show that she really knew me or my tastes. I do know that my little sister would like the necklace and bracelet, but I don't want to be an asshole because I do believe that it's the thought that counts. At the same time tho, I also know that I would never wear this jewelry and I feel like my sister would like it so I wanna give it to her. WIBTA?
I know there is a larger issue around our friendship dynamic, and I'm not really sure how I even want to approach that because within the last month, I lost my grandfather and had shared that with her. And since sharing that she has not reached out to me at all to check up on me and see how I was doing, so I have a lot of feelings around it. That's that I don't want my giving away of this gift to all be tied to these feelings that I have around our friendship because I do appreciate the gesture, I just don't care to hoard jewelry that I know I will never wear. So again I ask, WIBTA?

I am looking for books in fantasy style where the main character genuinely outsmarts opponents with strategy that makes sense. I really enjoyed Dungeon Crawler Carl, and Rangers apprentice for this reason. Most books shortcut intelligence and just have the character happen to have obscure knowledge they need, or a specific item they decided they had as soon as it's needed. I want genuine intelligence overcoming obstacles.

I’m driving from Edm Thursday to Red Deer from 8-5:30 dropping car for service, any suggestions? I was thinking of killing some time & Starbucks and maybe watch a movie, within walking distance in this freezing weather.
Was here few weeks ago sat @ dealership from 11-5pm fell asleep 😴 while playing games on iPad…till I got annoyed another customer blasting loud metal music for 3 hours.
Thinking of catching a ride to Calgary but it requires so much Plan Ahead🤪
