The word "you," when used in a sentence, is always used as "you are" rather than "you is". This happens regardless of whether the speaker is speaking to one person or many. This is a rant post and I'm pretty sure fellow night auditors feel the same. I love all of my guests however the ones who seem to be so picky that they complain on the smallest things ever, are Jahova Witness and fema groups. I cannot stand it. Me working front desk I'm only able to do so much especially during overnights. We normally don't have special rates automatically for when calling to set up group bookings, that's usually done by the sales manager who are there during the day at specific times... And btw AFTER we explained certain prices or if we are able to accommodate please understand that as an auditor we are only limited on what we are able to do (especially being the only ones majority of the time on that shift) we do not need you to ask the same exact questions more then 10 times just to get the same exact answer over and over.... Also sometimes things just break in hotels that is out of our power that may need replacing. As hotel staff we try our hardest to please everyone and these 2 groups (not everyone involved in them) are so NEEDY that they act like nothing ever bad happens with hotels. And do not let me get started for if a rate shows up wrong because, again, you called overnight and not a sales team member who handles special rates which is done by a manager.... rant over

in 2022 i was 230 pounds and i said to myself i was going to get to a place where i was happy with my body. i down to 190 pounds, and i maintained my weight there for about a year. august 2023, i decided i finally wanted to be truly skinny. i got all the way to 140.1 pounds. (im 20 years old, male, and 5’11)… that’s pretty skinny. the thing was however, i needed muscle but i was too scared to go to the gym. i saw fat on my body and wanted it gone so i kept trying to get even skinnier than that, and my body rebounded and i just couldn’t stop eating. i am back at 190 lbs and gained the 50 pounds in 4 months. i’m back to my starting point and im just so tired. i’m going to try losing weight again, but only going to 155-160 and then gaining muscle from there instead of fully trying to lose all my fat at once.
i wholeheartedly feel like i can’t live my life without me being happy with my body. i’m 20 and haven’t had my first kiss let alone do anything. i do college online, i barely hang out with friends, all bc im insecure of my body and it affects me fully. i’m just so beyond tired and i feel like i wasted so much of my life and feel like i can’t live it yet until i like my body.

2024.11.26 08:32 johnwicke The Case For Brydon Carse at 7th position, and why I think he's the perfect pick for that slot.
I've been following Carse's career for quite some time now, as I highly rate him as a player. Right from the hundred days and SA20, to his national debut in both red and white ball cricket. I strongly believe that he was the perfect no. 7 we could have got within the budget we had by the end of Day 2.
He brings a lot to the table.
Firstly, he is a tall guy so uses a lot of traditional long levers advantage to slog the ball which is far outside the usual slot area, this is a skill which is really handy in death overs when bowlers try to bowl wider. Him alongside Gus Atkinson are rated very highly by the Baz setup for their batting abilities. I personally feel, he could be groomed into a Chris Morris type player.
Secondly, He is a proper hard length hitting bowler which means, he could relieve Cummins of the middle over enforcer role, so that he could slot up with the new ball along with Shami. He can be a handful especially in larger boundary stadiums and red soil wickets. Even on slower wickets his skiddy pace could trouble batsmen, as we saw him doing in the Pakistan tour. That solves another problem unrelated to the position of 7.
Plus, it lets us play Zeeshan as an impact sub, and create a two man leggie attack with Chahar. Or, if there's a collapse we could get a proper bat in too, as having Carse gives us the fifth mainstream bowling option ready in the starting XI itself.
Additionaly, he's a gun fielder. Kinda aggressive as a player. Helpful body language on field basically.
What this selection also does is that, it elongates the batting order insanely, with Harshal and Chahar being pushed one position down. Especially with Chahar, as everyone in the domestics consider the Chahar brothers as very able bats. Not to forget Cummins himself, who is a massively underrated batsman.
So, all in all, I believe him and Kamindu were massive good picks which balance the squad so well. 10/10 auction for me personally, especially in the context of the purse we had before starting.

Some months ago i bought my (first) PS portal, hoping the increased screen size and resolution in comparison to my Steam Deck LCD would make the remote play experience even better, but i was pretty disappointed with the streaming quality.
The microstutter was pretty evident, the picture clarity was much worse than on the 720p screen of the SD, especially when moving ingame. Additionally, it "feels" like there is more input lag on the portal as well compared to the SD. All in all i send the portal back, because remote play on the SD was still superior.
Now after hearing about the 4.0 update, the fixed microstutter and some comments about increased bitrate i decided to give it another try but was disappointed again. I could neither see nor feel any improvement to the last time except for the vanished microstutter.
You guys have any idea, if there is anything i could do?
Both the portal and SD are on the same network, i testes multiple games back to back and the SD always felt much better visually.
