2024.11.26 10:20 Born_Requirement_727 I’m currently working on my Sona’s story and would like tips.
So I love making story’s but for a character that I can put myself into I want him to be more realistic but still furry of course soo… I’ve made it for he’s based around the 1940’s the start of WW2 and he was put under experiments turning him into a dog anthro. The war had pretty much ended by the time they made the experiment safe enough for him tho so he didn’t end up going to war. Now he spends his days as a Detective because their cool and I feel his new advantages would help (smell, hearing, sight, etc…) he has a bit more of a limited speech because of his face shape but still can speak. His head is majority find memories and stuff are fine but he can’t control his primal urges as much so he is less in control.
I want him to be in a near identical to the real world. I feel I could write easier with it because I already kinda understand it, like how would people react to an anthro person back then, how would he react to himself being so different.
Now for why I’m posting here. I feel his story is missing stuff and I would like help improving it if you guys are fine with trying?

2024.11.26 10:20 abundanceofb Returning to the series (and gaming) and I cannot tell if I’m incredibly rusty or the enemies are just busted right now
I played the original Stalker when it first came out, the cover with the yellow face on it intrigued me as a kid and I loved it while I was playing it. Played the first expansion but after that kind of fell off video gaming and never followed up, getting back in to some games and I decided I’ll grab Stalker 2 and see where the series has gone.
Holy hell I am getting fucked, the first bloodsucker in the prologue I had to put like 3 mags in to, even the normal human enemies I had to put half a mag of the starting AK in to before they dropped. Has the series damage tuning increased or am I just forgetting how difficult things were back in the day? Granted I’m definitely older and the reflexes aren’t as good, but I really don’t recall it being like this.
