Crazy, idiotic, as in Mary's nutty as a fruitcake if she thinks she can get away with that. The adjective nutty meaning "insane" was first recorded in 1821; the similarity to fruitcake , which literally contains nuts as well as fruit, was first recorded in 1935. Hellow everyone, Here is a paragraph from a standardized test: "I am not crazy," says Dr. William Farber, shortly after performing acupuncture on a rabbit. "I am ahead of my time." If he seems a little defensive, it might be because even some of his coworkers occasionally laugh at his unusual... I am totally crazy/mad about this guy = I’m unable to control myself because I fall in love with him 爱的不能自拔. 5. “crazy” 也可以指某事失控,“mad” 不可以. Today’s party has been really crazy! 6. “crazy” 并不总是贬义,可以用来表示褒义,可以用来表示 “unbelievable”, “mad” 不可以。 "People were crazy (better "went crazy") over the election results in the country." This suggests excitement, upset, indignation. "People were crazy for / about the election results in the country." This suggests delirious happiness. It's often used in the negative: "they weren't crazy about the results" means they didn't like the outcome. Hi friends As I know crazy should finish with -ier because it finishes with -y and has a syllable, but I think more crazy is also possible. Which one is better? Thanks in advance. "make me crazy" - 239,000 hits; note that this phrase can have both "positive" and "negative" uses, just like "make me go crazy" "make me go crazy" - 23,900 hits, coincidentally one-tenth of the hits for the other phrase. I expected "make me crazy" would be more popular, but it's ten times more popular. "crazy about" indicates a more general state of infatuation. I also agree with renegade angel that the difference between "crazy for" and "crazy about" is not like the difference between "really want" and "really like". I believe "crazy about" is closer to "in love with", than to liking, a person. So both crazies want, if I can put it so crudely. English speakers generally do not say "I am getting crazy." It isn't gramatically wrong, it just isn't said that way. You could, however, refer to a situation in that way. For example you could say "We have so much left to do on this project, work is getting crazy." If you wish to refer to yourself, you would say "I am going crazy." It means "stupid" in Spanish, not crazy, but is often confused by English-speakers with loco, which does mean crzy. The most famous cowboy in the world for decades, the Lone Ranger, the masked man with silver bullets, was always accompanied by a "faithful Indian companion" named Tonto from Texas, where many Indians spoke Spanish rather than ...
2024.11.26 12:18 Enough_Ad5927 PMAX campaign going crazy
Hello, i have a pmax campaign running for a few months with good cost per conversion. Suddenly after adding one asset group one week ago all the traffic in all asset groups changed. I used to have CPC around $8 or $9 and now in all the campaign the CPC is lower that $1 and i get thousands of impresions and clikcs. The daily budget is consumed in one hour and i needed to stop the campaign multiple times because it´s a waste of money.
Google support said that they see that the campaign switched through their network but its something that it automatic and i need to give 1-2 weeks and then maybe it will optimize itself. The problem is that i cant wait 2 weeks with the campaign running and loosing money.
Did anyone else had the same issue? How can i get the traffic that i used to have back?
Thanks!

So I’ve had my 11inch iPad Pro for like 2 years and I feel I’ve slowly stopped using it as got a laptop too and my phone is an iPhone 15 so. But I spent a lot of money on it and want to get use out of it again but not just for the sake of it. What do you find useful on the iPad Pro most that u can’t do with other things like laptop or phone?

2024.11.26 12:18 Ricola63 Project Hiero
The more I think about it, the more I am staggered by how important I think Project Hiero is in this market right now. I can`t wait until it is all transferred into the Hiero Repository in the LF required formats (it would be great to have some indication of how long all that might take, understanding that it is a big task, but also that the work itself adds huge value to the Code once properly done.)
Lets just quickly analyse the benefits one more time, because from my background in S/W it is actually such a big a deal I can barely take it in.....
1. Hedera is now a Founding and Leading member of the Linux Foundation Decentralised Trust.. (Sitting alongside Accenture, DTCC and Hitachi (JAPAN/ The leading Hitachi Corporate Entity).
Just read that through one more time!. THE LEADING Open Source community IN THE WORLD has Hedera as a LEADING member..... Just awesome really.
2. The Linux Foundation already has several years of track record in Distributed Technology, primarily in the form of multiple Hyperledger projects. My sense is that, whilst Hyperledger has been adopted by some significant players especially across Finance, Healthcare, Supplychain and Government, its adoption has been slowed due to aspects of the following challenges.
Complexity:
Hyperledger can be complex to set up and configure, especially for those without a strong technical background.
The learning curve can be steep, requiring significant effort and expertise.
Performance:
Some users have reported performance issues, particularly when dealing with high transaction volumes or complex smart contracts.
Network latency and throughput can be limiting factors in certain scenarios.
Scalability:
While Hyperledger offers solutions like sharding and sidechains to improve scalability, these approaches can introduce additional complexity.
Scaling to meet the demands of large-scale applications can be challenging.
Interoperability:
Interoperability between different Hyperledger networks and other blockchain platforms can be difficult to achieve.
Standards and protocols for seamless communication and data exchange are still evolving.
Governance and Security:
Ensuring the security and governance of a decentralized network can be complex.
Protecting against attacks and malicious actors requires careful consideration and implementation of robust security measures.
------------------------------------------------------
Now which platform/ Tech do you think has a solution for all of those issues. AND let us not forget, Hedera is based on the BESU EVM, which is Hyperledgers own EVM, meaning that Devs used to using Hyperledger will have a very low educational overhead moving to Hashgraph.
So, in order to address some of the issues that have challenged Hyperledger teams to date, an easy and now, due to the move to the LFDT, route would be to adopt Hashgraph and potentially Hedera (since it is the Hedera platform itself that is the component addresses many, though not all, of those Governance and Security issues as well as mitigating the Interoperability and standards issues).
3. The nature of Project Hiero itself is the critical component in this. Imagine for a moment you are an Enterprise XYZ Corp, who sees value in DLT. You have to decide on a strategy in relation to DLT and look around at your options. Well, you might decide to build your own, but that is a potentially huge undertaking. So naturally you look for other options.
Luckily most projects are Open Source... BUT are they really? Who is to say that the `Open Source` code you are using does not contain some lines of third party coders for which there is an actual license requirement? Usually, No one.....
But the standards of LF projects (Note that these are Projects actually in the LF repository, not just those of members of the LF`s projects) demand that every line of code is attributable to someone who has agreed to certify that code is Open Source. So as XYZ Corp you have a significantly deeper level of protection that your code is truly `Open Source`.
Then there is the small matter of the `Open Source License` itself. There are many flavours of Open Source License and they don`t all mean the same thing. As in everything else the devil is in the detail. Now many Enterprises have done their Due Diligence on the License type used by Linux Foundation Projects and the result of that is use of the license is a tick in the box exercise. If instead I decide I want to use a License issued under one of the many other flavours out there I have to go through an entire legal review which is time consuming and requires an in depth understanding AND acceptance of every line in that license. So adopting Hashgraph is, for many companies in the Software business, a very simple box tick, whereas many other platforms require detailed legal analysis AND an ongoing awareness and acceptance of any potential differences.
4. There has been a core development team of some 100 (up and down I`m guessing) individuals working on Hashgraph for around 5 years. This has been supplemented by community members and third party companies working on projects themselves. I would hazard a guess that once Hiero goes live we will see that number swell by, minimum, ten times.
There are some 750,000 Devs in the Linux Foundation. I struggle to see how a leading DLT, like Hashgraph, will struggle to attract the attention of broad support once its project goes live as a genuine LFDT project. It may start slowly, but the pace will pick up rapidly once the ball is rolling. You be the judge, but if its ONLY ten times the development resource, then that is just over 0.1% of the developer community choosing to engage with Hiero, on a premium solution that is addressing a rapidly emerging need in the market. I`d be very surprised if this was the extent of it in two years time. AND many of these Devs will be steeped in learning and understanding from their experiences in the Hyperledger project. These will often be highly experienced, battle hardened and knowledgable professionals WITH strong connectivity across the project and Decentralisation communities.
Having this influx of hardened Developers, working through the Hiero Project, will accelerate development, new features that will both widen and deepen the capability of the Hedera network to deliver value to its client base. I anticipate teams who will be freed from the Core Network issues (since most of that has been done) who will focus on Industry specific features for Insurance, Health, Finance, Telco, Governance and beyond. Its going to be incredibly exciting to watch this develop.
The fiscal costs of this effort, to Hedera, are the costs of maintaining its membership status and I am sure helping to ensure Hiero thrives as a project. In other words, minimal in comparison to the costs of hiring teams of developers themselves (in fact I don`t think they or anyone else could pay for the amount of focus likely to occur here as a result of this initiative).
5. Hiero`s Transparent Nature and `Hard Core` Open Source credentials put yet another big stake through the perception of Hedera as being `centralised`. There is, undeniably, still some work to be done here, but IMO, the picture of Decentralisation on Hedera is already way beyond those that rely upon their claims of having XXXX Permissionless nodes.
So all I can say is `come on team`. This is soooo exciting. Lets get this show on the road.

2024.11.26 12:18 cakemaniac81 Upgrading Amex card for better companion voucher
Ok, so I have a standard BA Amex card which I get a companion voucher form every membership year. However as these are only economy now I was thinking of getting the Premium Plus card for access to Business class. This is the only reason I would upgrade, but paying the £300 a year fee is annoying.
So, does this make sense... If I was to carry on spending on my normal card, up until i'm nearly at the threshold for a companion voucher, then upgrade to a premium card and carry on spending a little more, I could then get my business class companion voucher, use it and downgrade again?
I checked with Amex and what i've spent already would be transferred to the premium card.
