Hii this is my first time posting here , I’m would like a Shopping Agent /proxy website and need to create an efficient system to manage customer requests. My goal is to let customers submit the details of the products they want to buy (like URLs from different websites) and have this information automatically converted into orders within their accounts. Here’s what I’m looking for:
System Requirements:
1. Dynamic Request Form: • Customers should be able to enter multiple product URLs along with additional details (quantity, color, notes, etc.). • The form should be linked to their account so they can track their submissions. 2. Automatic Conversion to Orders: • Each request (submitted product) should automatically become an order in the system, visible in the customer’s account. • The order should display an initial status like “Waiting for a Quote”. 3. Notifications and Payment: • Once I confirm the product’s availability and price, the customer should receive a notification and be able to pay directly from their account. 4. Shipping Management: • After the customer pays for the product, I’d like the shipping to be handled as an additional “item” that the customer can pay for once it’s ready. 5. Interactive Customer Dashboard: • Customers should be able to monitor the status of each product/order in their account, from the initial request to final shipment. • so far in using WordPress/WooCommerce plugins and so far there is a lot of manual work, which plugin would you recommend to implement this system? Hi all! Just wanted to ask for advise as I keep getting rejecting from jobs I am applying to and ask if I should keep trying or maybe focus on something else.
So my background is: undegrad degree in Maths&CS from an overseas university (top tier in my country but I don't think the name says anything here in the UK), 9 month of experience as Data Science Instructor back home (teaching students foundations of calculus, linear algebra, probability and some ML algorhytms, basic neural networks, applied stats) and then 3 years of experience as Statistical Programmer in Healthcare (mostly programming analysis datasets and tables/listings/graphs for regulatory submissions in SAS/R and checking data quality/compliance with industry standards). I also don't have a right to work in the UK, only for the company that initially sponsored me :c
I moved to the UK with this job 2 years ago and coud not quit for all this time because of relocation agreement. The job is relatively easy and I don't mind it overall, but the fact that they still have not promoted me for all these years drives me crazy and honestly I'd love to do more sophisticated job as I know the mathematical fundamentals of ML/DS quite well, just don't have relevant job experience. So I am applying to Data Analyst/Data Scientist positions but I don't even get to interviews. I guess the reason is that I require sponsorship and my experience is not so relevant to those jobs.
Do you think I shall keep trying to look for this kind of jobs or shall I look for Statistical Programmer jobs (as I still want a better pay) at the moment and wait till I get right to work to land the kind of job I want?
