Hello! I was diagnosed as a pre-diabetic last year and was prescribed with Metformin, Jardiance Duo, and Essentiale Forte. Sobrang sad ko lang na sa edad kong 28, ang dami ko nang iniinom :( bakit ganito :( I kind of blame Diane pills for this. Feel ko talaga yun ang may sala :( and syempre my sedentary lifestyle na rin for awhile. Hayyyy. Pero we're TTC kaya I'll do my best to prevent this :( just hoping it's not yet too late. Natakot pa ako kasi, sabi ng doctor, if mag-pregnant ako, I will have to take insulin to control my sugar :( parang ayaw ko nun!!! Huhu pray for me 🙏🥺 thank you!

I'm 18 afab. And well... My friend is 15.. BUT please don't comment right away. I Would NEVER ask them out or ask anything weird. I know it's really bad I like them I just can't control the feeling. I’m a week postpartum, and now some of the “hormonal high” of giving birth has tapered. Ive been reflecting on the labor and birth and honestly it’s gotten me a bit down. TW that my vent will have some discussion of labodelivery which was generally uncomplicated. I just want to post to (a) vent and get this off my chest and (b) see if anyone else has kind of gone through these feelings and get some tips for working through it.
So basically long story short, my water broke spontaneously but when I got to this hospital I was only 1 cm dilated and cervix was still thick. Essentially from the moment I was first seen, the resident doctor was already pushing induction including pitocin. At the time, my husband hadn’t arrived at the hospital. I repeatedly kept asking if we could wait until he arrived before making any decisions. Despite this, induction seemed to be brought up several times with the resident doctor stating that the reason it would potentially be needed is I was now at risk of infection and that once someone’s water broke it could lead to cord compression of the baby. This was about one hour after water broke.
Once I was taken to labor and delivery, I told the nurse that I was not interested in an epidural at the time but it was not something I ruled out, but would like to try to avoid. She was very supportive of my wishes. The anesthesiologist on the other hand was like a vulture around my room.
I was given cytotec because I asked to at least give that a shot before getting pitocin. I went to sleep and then woke up with contractions around 4 am. I was checked and was four cm dilated and having regular contractions which meant I could avoid pitocin. The anesthesiologist came in my room a few times trying to push me to get an epidural but the nurse sent him away. I was really managing the pain with heat and movement. Unfortunately I was having back labor and it was quite painful. I was told for the first time that the baby was sunny side up. There were some issues with the wireless monitoring which started getting my mental space into a stressful spot.
I was checked again a couple hours later and was 9 cm with good station and effacement. The pain was intense by this point. Multiple medical staff came in my room and were checking the monitors etc and said to me essentially that the anesthesiologist had a scheduled c section at 7:15 and that if I didn’t get the epidural now that was basically my last chance. It was 7:00. At that point I basically spiraled and asked for the epidural because what they told me in the middle of a contraction caused me panic.
I was given the epidural on my side. The anesthesiologist was not explaining anything and I was just crying. He did it while I was laying on my side. There was no communication at all. I was basically pleading with him to wait to stick the needle until my contraction was over because I couldn’t sit still.
Anyways, once I had the epidural I literally passed out for an hour or so. I was woken up but staff and told that it was time to push. I could feel absolutely nothing from my sternum down. No pressure or anything. It felt like my legs were dead and belonged to someone else when they asked me to grab them. I pushed from my chest since I couldn’t feel my lower body at all. They ended up using a vacuum.
Baby was thankfully ok which I am so grateful for. After delivery, I was hypertensive and nauseous. This was due to the epidural and the anesthesiologist had to come back and adjust medications.
After the fact, I had a close family member who is an anesthesiologist look at the note. He said that the doctor at the hospital gave me way too much medication and that I should have been able to feel some sensation while delivering. Just to explain, I had no idea that my baby was born. The nurses had to say “mom look over here, you just gave birth” because I literally felt nothing. My family member also said the doctor had given me the wrong medication to treat the hypotension which was why he was called back to my room later on. The timing of things was that I was about to deliver right at shift change so this may have been a way to stall labor so people could do their report and not have to stay over.
I don’t mean to sound ungrateful because I know things can go so so so much worse and plenty of people would be so happy with this delivery. I am ultimately happy with the outcome of a healthy baby. I just can’t help but feel “used” for a quick buck for the hospital and anesthesiologist and frustrated at the cascade of intervention when my body was doing its thing and I was so close. I am also just frustrated at how I was basically pressured into it when I was vulnerable.
End of vent lol. Anyone have similar experience and how did you move past it? It’s really just frustrating me and making me feel like I’ve failed.

I sometimes mess around with my guitar, find a chord or melody I like, and make a little demo ish song out of it with audacity and a mic. Or O try to cover a song and change stuff around in it. I often leave in imperfect takes because I like the sound of it. I eventually noticed it's usually very emo influenced without even intending to, coming more from a pop punk/melodic hc kinda idea instead.
At some point I came up with a melody based on the main riff in Don Martin Three's transistor so I made a sort of mini cover. Note that this is like a third soundcloud, I have no clue when I uploaded my old uploads. The first version is very old, but the later version is pretty recent:

I did all the side quests in Zalissja and after that certain point in the story they needed some help. I immediately went to them and helped them fight off some baddies. I then did all the rebuilding quests and fought off the second attack. After convincing Gaffer that they weren't done for I decided my work was done and I left. I immediately got the good radio message saying it was a place of hope etc... but as soon as that transition ended, I got a second transmission from Gaffer saying Zalissja was finished and the only thing that waited for anyone was death.
All the traders are gone and there was an invincible monolith guy just shooting at me as soon as I entered the town.
Anyone else have this issue?
