My familiarity with the Clan weirdness is limited to the MW: Clans game and a few wiki articles, so the question may be silly, but:
How would clanners react if they issue a Bachal and an opponent bids an extremely underwhelming force?
Say the clan armada on its way to invade Inner Sphere comes across a tiny periphery colony of a thousand or so people, a stellar equivalent of a cabin in the woods. They issue a bachal, as clanners do, and locals respond with
"We welcome honorable fight! Our defendant will be Steve, who is the only guy in our settlement with a gun. We choose Steve's ranch as a battleground".
So... what do the clanners do? Do they send a one-handed solhama warrior in his undies and with a handgun, to make the fight somewhat even? Do they honor the bachal and just frag off if Steve manages to win?
Or do they laugh and say that you can't accept a bachal with less than a battalion and just wreck the place?

2024.11.26 15:30 Jayjayjaybee Do certain features require *two* "Plus" packs?
In the weeds of trying to find my ideal spec Used i4 but the Packs are confusing me. Just when I think I have them figured out, I read something that throws it all out of whack. So looking for some guidance.
My main question is whether there are some features that only work with a combination of packs? Remote Control Parking, for example, seems to require Comfort Plus (for 'Digital Key Plus') and obviously Technology Plus. So even though Tech+ has PAP, it seems to require Comfort+ for the Remote element. Are there others like this?
I'm basically trying to see what are the minimum packs that get me what I want. Not so much from a cost perspective, moreso that I'm in a market (Ireland) with a more limited supply of spec variations and all dealerships are telling me I probably have to give up something on my checklist or I could be waiting a very long time. I had been looking for: Technology Plus, Comfort Plus, Full Leather. This was based on wanting DAP and PAP. But if I can get those without Comfort Plus, I have a (slightly) higher chance of looking for a model with Leather and Tech+.
Any guidance greatly appreciated. At my wits end trying to piece together the answer from forum posts asking different Qs about the packs!

On Shū ni Ichido Classmate o Kau Hanashi wiki page (ln) the demographic has been changed several times by now. Including by me back to "Women" today.
This is just sad and awful that some folks really want to consider all yuri to be written for men.
Isn′t this just too convinient? Like yuri - for st men, Yaoi - for gay men, het content - mainly for men..?
I know the problem is way deeper and this is more about the publiblishing magazine (manga) wich labled it as seinen. But do we really have to accept and live with this?
Wikipedias made by fans and for fans, can we at least have it the right way here? Please consider checking up the wikis and correcting the demographic there as well if someone changes it to "male". If we don′t do anything, it will be a "common knowledge" that yuri is for men.

2024.11.26 15:30 littleforestfello AIO? Guy bailed on our date as soon as I got in his car
Met a guy on hinge who was super adamant to take me out, said he found me to be really attractive and is eager to meet me. We both had a day off work today so we decided to go on a lunch date and then watch a movie at the cinema. He’s communicating with me the whole time, drives 45 mins to pick me up and then tells me he’s outside. I am looking real good (sorry to suck my own dick) but I made an effort, good clothes, face on point and he’s in a shirt, joggers (sweatpants) and crocs. We start looking at places to get bubble tea and when I found one he just said sounds good (however what was strange was he didn’t immediately ask to give me the address or put it on maps on my phone), after a second he says “oh sorry I’m getting a call” and gets out his car. He is on the phone for 4-5 mins, gets back in the car and says “sorry I’m going to need to cut this date short, something’s happened to my sister and my cousin just called telling me to come asap” - THEN he shows me his phone and his cousin is actively texting him saying “i don’t care where you are come now somethings happened” Now 1. why is he messaging you that when you just had q conversation with him 2. why are there NO MESSAGES BEFORE (when he was showing me his cousins texts there were no texts before hand, which means they were deleted”… interesting 3. why do you not know what’s happened? (he told me he don’t know what’s actually going on lmao) 4. why is the timing so convenient.
- I look exactly like my photos, I’m not a catfish whatsoever, and my friends are telling me there’s no way he had a problem with my face as i look good (I facetimed them straight away and am still sat in my date clothes- this happened 20ish mins ago)
- My guy friend believes he may have been intimidated with the way I look and dressed compared to him
- my other friend is saying maybe something HAS happened and I’m overthinking it.
- He constantly talks about gym and i had a vape in my hand, I thought maybe that could be a reason too.
Am I overreacting, do you reckon something actually has happened with his sister or do you think he’s straight up lying and didn’t like something about me within 5 mins of seeing me?
TLDR: guy adamant to take me on a date, drives 45 mins, picks me up, we don’t even move from his parked spot, he gets a call from cousin and he speaks to him for 5 mins outside the car, comes back in the car shows me messages from cousin who’s actively texting him asking him to drop everything and get there now but all previous messages were deleted, he apologised and said date needs to be cut short and I got out the car and walked back to my building. I’m suspicious and want to know what you all think?

hi, vor kurzem hatte mein Wagen ein paar Reparaturen offen, die wirtsch. totalschaden bedeuteten...
nach längerer überlegung hab ich ihn zum verkauf angeboten und ein exporteur hat ihn für ein paar hundert abgeholt.
jetzt wurde ich ein paar wochen später kontaktiert, dass der käufer zwar den wagen abgemeldet hätte aber nun alle papiere verloren hat. er könne den wagen so nicht zulassen... und ob ich helfen könnte wenn mir jemand die verlorenen Papiere zukommen lässt oder ggf. helfen neue papiere zu erlangen.
das ganze klingt zwar merkwürdig, aber in summe harmlos... gibt es hier was offensichtliches, dass ich übersehe?

In my opinion (I should say first off that i'm Gen Z, not millennial or Gen X so my viewpoint may be a little biased) one of the biggest abominations in film history is the success of the American Pie franchise, those gross, stupid, sexist, cringe films that were ALL the rage among young people in the late 90s and very early 2000s. I would argue that the film and its fans had an aesthetic of sorts of a young in-your-face grossout partying punk, that isn't super different from today's frat bros and sigma gyatt rizz crowd, and this aesthetic DEFINITELY has music to go along with it. The American pie soundtracks are honestly incredible time capsules of what these bros loved listening to (though in reality they also liked some hip-hop too probably). American Pie-core consists of classics like Fat Lip, Flagpole Sitta, Teenage Dirtbag, Blink-182 (who I had no idea until 2 days ago made a cameo in the first film), Lit (My Own Worst Enemy and Miserable), Alien Ant Farm, In Too Deep, Less Than Jake, along with many of the smaller songs from the soundtracks which, yes, almost entirely sound the same (Michelle Branch, what are you doing in there?). What songs would you put in this category or hypothetical playlist? I apologize for my offenses btw early Millennial dudes
